I purchased a stairlift for my daughter from this company in 2021. I paid $2625.94 Installation was $575.00. At the time of purchase I was told that the company had a buyback program but was not advised that there was a specific time that it had to occur within. At delivery and Installation I was given two remote controls and an invoice but no manufacturers instructions, manual or specifications. My daughter died just shy of three years from date of install. We didnt call immediately about the lift because we were in grieving. I called in April of 2024 to ask about the buyback and was informed that the buyback period on my lift had just expired. I asked the company if they would refer me somewhere else that I could get rid of it because its a constant reminder of my daughters death. They said they could not. Okay, so I sought to list it on the marketplace but soon realized I needed certain information. I called Ameriglide back on August 2024 for product dimensions and specs, which company would not provide. More but not enough characters left to detail the story. No resolution, poor customer care, broken promises, no manufacturers information which they initially removed and replaced with their own so that you can only go through them.
