I graduated in 2020 with A.S in ************************** 2023, I completed Medical Billing and coding. However, in 2025 I can't seem to get this school to forward my transcripts to First Advantage ( employment verification) which has delayed me from starting a job this past Monday. Ashworth College needs to update their ****** information. This may include some Penn Foster information. Its so convoluted and messy at this point. The school phone number online is primarily for the current student.Ashworth College

I enrolled in an alone program shortly after I had to change my mind and discontinue, when I spoke to someone over the phone I was told I could dispute the over 500 dollar fee I was charged another person I spoke to Said I could not. Wish I had known about the reviews here prior to enrollment.Ashworth College

Horrible service. They barely provide guidance and take forever to grade labs. If there is any mistakes on the lab, instead of deducting a couple of points they leave it ungraded and want you to do it again. This is really frustrating because you can’t move on with the course until the labs are graded. I want a refundAshworth College

No student follow up, takes money from credit card but won't give access to to course semesters paid for, keep telling me no transcript received lies I have order confirmations and confirmation order was filled and sent , I have chat conversations going back to 2021 because believe me you I tried. School took over ******* dollars closer to 2600 USD I'm Candian SO THATS NEARLY DOUBLE. They refused to stop accessing my card until it expired . I owe only 850 left on the two semester year I was billed for, then price kept changing going up, year was supposed to be ******* year has two semesters then it jumped to 5780 then 3400 a semester this school is a joke im surprised at the A plus rating because the school discussion forms on their own website have so many complaints that they keep blanking out as information has been deleted , but they can't keep up , so many new complaints, all similar, not honoring price offered, huge jumps in costs, not sending books no access to classes then complete canceling of the course all together once complaints over flowing. No they should be stripped of this rating, im going back on the boards to have students come here to report poor service, money grabs and no access complaints. You breached my contract not me, and you owe me moneyAshworth College

I got excited for a moment but then I was surprised on how tricky their website is. Don't trust when you read the "affordable tuition" page indicating pay for the full program $1399. As soon as you pay whichever plan you choose you will get an agreement letter to sign that indicate on second page the actual total cost you will be paying for the entire course. I am talking about extra thousands. Ashworth college needs to indicate all the details on the actual tuition costs and not confuse new students on this. For your information the A.S on ********************* will not cost you $1399, it will cost you almost $8k that you will need to pay in order to graduate. ******!Ashworth College

I would not go here to get any kind of degree! They misrepresented the one that I was trying to get so I cancelled it. They charged me for the 3 tests that I took even though the course did not reflect what the description was, which is why I had to cancel it. I worked out a payment plan with them. A couple of months into it, I lost my job. I called and let them know that I was out of work and would pay what I could. I have paid what I could afford and did not miss a month. I never got the first phone call or email about this. Well, they turned me into a collection agency with no warning and charged me almost $100 for their trouble!! The collection agency is not BBB accredited! They would not even answer their phone to talk to me. I have paid toward the debt as best as I can. This has been an awful experience! The woman that I talked to today said that I should have made a small payment every week to trick the system so it thought I had paid the full amount for each month! I didn't have the money to do that. I thought if you were at least paying something , it wouldn't go to collections. And, I had told them about my situation. I would never let anyone that I know go through this place. I will be glad to eventually get it paid off and never have to deal with them again. Even though I am being charged unfairly for things that I was not warned about. Buyer Beware if you go here and don't ever get into a bad life situation. They do not care about you or what may be going on in your life! Ashworth, I wish I could charge you $600 for all the stress and anxiety that you have caused me. I have to give you an "F" for how you operate and an "F-" for not being understanding, nice people. I am so sorry that I lost my job and was having a hard time paying all my bills, feeding my family and struggling through life. Things happen and I did let you know but you just didn't care. I started at Ashworth College in 2021, I have had a great experience so far with transferring my credits and all my courses up to this point. At the end of 2024 they changed the computer system and when I finished all my scheduled semester 6 courses it said my semester 6 exam was locked. I have not had any issues before the system changeover. The program said I needed to complete an elective even though I had finished all 5 classes scheduled for semester 6. When I followed the instructions to select an elective it said there was a system error and would not allow the selection. I have tried several times to select an elective as well as take my semester exam and each time I get the same result. I have contacted Ashworth support through tickets, chats, and phone calls but each time they say it is fixed or they will let IT know. They say it will be ***** days but this has been going on for over a month with no results. Now I cannot get a response using any channels of Ashworth's student services. I have 6 classes left to obtain my degree and have had nothing but problems that have not been solved. I have invested a lot of time and money into getting my degree through Ashworth college and will not be letting this go. I would not have gone outside of student services if they would have communicated and solved the issue. I still value the Ashworth education and experience but this cannot continue. All of the instructors have been responsive and knowledgeable, even the process has been good until recently. I hope this can be resolved quickly so I can continue with my education and earn my degree through Ashworth college. ****** *** received my associate degree in General Business in September of 2024, after many challenges, including having to wait more than ********************************************************************* making contact. After receiving the Associate, I enrolled in the *********************** program to receive my BA; however, since starting in October 2024, there have been more stressful than happy times. First off they are charging me additional tuition for semesters that I have completed. Their response is the tuition went up. My question is why for me if I have already completed those courses? That is highway robbery! I spoke to more than 12 different individuals via chat and on the phone, and all they end with is that's what they have been told. A supervisor is never available to speak with me, and the academic advisor I originally spoke with ignores all my emails and calls. This is the worst experience!! Instead of being happy, I am depressed because these people think it's okay to steal from students who are trying to make a difference in their lives.Ashworth College

Here's my story: I started Ashworth in 2022/2023 for General Studies. Everything was going well, but with my learning disability, I got a little behind. I paid for extensions twice, but I was still doing okay until February 2024, when I got COVID-19 very badly and had to pull out. I promised to keep on paying for tuition at $60 a month until it was either paid off or I returned at another time after I got well enough to be remitted. This past week I called and told them I wanted to be remitted and I wanted to switch over from General Studies to ************************* which I knew cost about $50 and still pay my $60 a month along with transferring some of the credits that I earned while doing my General Studies degree plan.Not only was the woman rude about me not paying the full $60 (because my paycheck doesn't hit my bank account until my bank opens which is 8 AM central time in ***** and I always pay on time) but she said I can still switch over but I have to cont. I am paying on the General Studies degree plan but I have to also do another account for the ************************* degree plan and start paying $79 on that account as well. I asked her what about transferring my credits from my General Studies degree plan to the ************************* degree plan she said they have to look over the classes I took and try to match them up with the *************************... her tone of voice made me upset. After that I started crying, it was already a bad Christmas, and this woman made it worse.Looks like I have to find another college to take me if anybody will. I have worked very hard with very little pay as a cashier this past 17 years and I take care of my sister who is disabled and now I have to pay next month $90 (which changed from $60 without anybody telling me). So please look for another college, I just pray I can find one that will even take me now. :(Ashworth College
