    This is an observation of Bardi Heating and Plumbing out of ********, **, which serves the greater Atlanta area. First, I wish to point out that the technician, Mr. ************************** they sent to our residence, was polite and professional in every respect.The issue was that a kitchen sink, and another sink on the back porch, using the same main drain, were both draining slowly, after an un-measured amount of water filled the main drain line. Bardi has frequently advertised on television of un-stopping any main drain line for $93. I called their office on April 8, telling them it was not urgent, yet, so they signed me up for the afternoon of April 9,****************** looked at the lines in my basement, as I pointed out which pipes were involved with the problem, then went up into the kitchen with his tablet, and began punching some boxes on his screen, which I could not see well enough to read. Then he calculated and quoted me a price of $453 to snake the drain. I did have the option of declining the work, or proceeding, and chose the latter. The entire procedure, including invoice and billing took within minutes of one hour. He said he went down about 25 feet with the shake, into the drain, but he had no way of knowing as there was no measuring meter on the device, nor were any measurements taken. It was as all guesswork.My main drain is about 119 feet long and there is extra footage from the house itself, out to the city sewage system, located in the next-door neighbors side yard, so he did not get into any of that.I realize that Bardi is out there to make an honest buck, but charging 4 & 1/2 times their advertised charge is being plain greedy, or avarice if you prefer.

    ******* we understand the frustration that comes along with unexpected repairs. We do offer a $93 drain special, but this is has specific guidelines including the home must have a clean out. When that is an option to resolve the problem ************** will offer that. If the technician evaluates the problem and there is no clean out or that is not the affected drain, they provide the best option for resolution. We are sorry for any confusion regarding this.     Bardi has attempted to scam me into buying an entire new hvac system. Upon calling a different company to inspect my system I discovered Bardi had intentionally disconnected my hvac system and claimed my unit was no longer in working condition. This intentional act done by Bardi was highly unethical and inappropriate! I trusted Bardi over the years to deliver honest inspections and services. However I know now that sales is your only goal. Quoting me for a 12k system instead of simply telling me there was nothing wrong with it was the last straw. I will be reporting Bardi to the BBB for this unethical act to help other people to avoid being scammed into buying something they dont need from a sales driven company. Bardi has no integrity or respect to its customers and should be ashamed of what transpired over the past few visits to my home. The company I contacted found NOTHING wrong with my system and simply reconnected what BARDI intentional disconnected. Now my system is working and I spent 0.00 dollars for it. Foul practice and services. I will be cancelling my services with this company moving forward.

    ******, we are saddened to hear about your account of events and would love the opportunity to speak with you about your experience and the condition of your equipment. Honesty and Integrity are part of our core values that we take very seriously. That being said, we want to ensure your system is prepared for the upcoming Summer. Last Summer, your AC unit had a leak where we replaced 3 pounds of refrigerant at no cost. During this year's cooling maintenance in February, we informed you that the compressor was reading as overworked due to the same leak along with a rusted coil. In March, you called us back because the system wasn't cooling properly. ************** found that because of the refrigerant leak in the coil, the compressor was not working at the correct capacity and the defrost board was no longer sending 24 volts to the compressor. We are proud to be able to give our customers options, including repair and replacement. Again, we hope that you allow us to discuss your account and want to emphatically state that we are not in the practice of intentional lying and manipulation. We do want your system to run properly for the integrity and comfort of your home.

    Bardi called me numerous times (I was basically harassed) to schedule a preventive maintenance, I finally gave in and allowed for it. Yes, I did buy a maintenance package but that was my mistake. "I didn't feel comfortable fixing something that isn't broke." Now days you can't trust individuals to be honest. What happen is one of their tech's came out do the preventative maintenace and my machine was working perfect - no issues. Before he left, the unit was going into defrost mode while outside temps were over 50 degrees (On valentines day). The unit wasn't going into defrost mode until he placed hands on my it. Now of course it would go into defrost mode auto when it was suppose to and most definitely colder than 50 degrees. It now goes into defrost mode all day (numerous times within a hour), regardless of the temp. Their customer service rep says they are not responsible and I can't prove he damaged the unit. However, the unit had no problems at all before their arrival. Be aware of using Bardi as when a problem as this comes up. There isn't a manager to care for concerns like this, you're on your own. I will move on to the next HVAC company to handle my maintenance needs and fix the issue they left me with. The customer service rep ***** claimed she is a manager and I WILL NOT receive a refund due to me cancelling my agreement. I didn't ask for a refund but she was being really rude with me. Beware people!!!

    We are truly sorry you feel harassed. We scheduled your prepaid Heating Maintenace per your Friends of Bardi Plan. This appointment was on 2/14/24 and the technician performed the heating service and this does require that they turn they system off and check everything. This was working when the technician left. You called us on 2/19/24 to advise the ******** mode was not functioning correctly. Since we were just out and we strive to provide quality service, a senior technician was scheduled for 2/21/24 at no cost and a $50 credit was placed on your account. This way he could come and check the system out and see what was making this happen. Upon arrival the technician discovered the defrost board was malfunctioning and the system would defrost before start up every cycle. This was also advised per the knowledge and experience of the technician, that this is not something someone could have made the defrost board do. At this time, you advised you wanted to cancel your Friends of Bardi Plan and we normally cancel at renewal only when under contract, so you can get all your benefits from the plan. You stated you wanted this canceled right then and understood no refund could be offered. We sent the cancelation email within the hour as requested. We will be happy to assist you further and even reinstate your Friends of Bardi Plan to the end of your term if you would like. We again are truly sorry the defrost board has a defect and would love to assist you.

    I had a leak in October 2023. I paid this company over $3000.00 to repair a water line. They did not give me a detailed bill of the repairs. I still have a leak in my home. They wanted another $4000.00 to install a new water heater and $1200 to install a toilet. I have called several times and begged for a detailed bill so the Clayton *********************** will adjust my bill. Bardi says they will send a detailed bill but haven't yet. I've been asking since November. My last phone call to them was 2/06/24 and I still don't have a detailed bill. One employee told me the repairman who worked on my waterline got fired and was not qualified. I would never use this company again. They like to take advantage of elderly people. I guess my only option is to get an attorney.

    **** I am sorry to hear you are having a plumbing problem. I do show we assisted you 10/5/23 with a water service installation and installed a water line. This does have a warranty if you are having any issues with this work. We also were called out on 12/29/23 for an estimate to replace toilets. I will be more than happy to get you a copy of your invoice as requested. We do flat rate pricing, but I can have the two services noted on the invoice for you.     This company makes sure you know who they are sending to your house by sending you a picture and short bio of thier experience. As seniors, we really appreciated that. The technician did a wonderful job of explaining issues to us and also made recommendations that could prevent further issues. ??

    Had issues with this company from day one, New System installed poorly and when they removed the old system, they just released the old freon into the air and did not rclame it. Every time a so-called Technician came, I had to fix what they were there to service. The last straw was this last service call to as the so-called tech arrived to confirm an issue, I was having with my heat strip that I already tested and confirmed that it was bad, so he arrived and did the same test I did and said yes, it's bad but did NOT have the part to repair it and still charged me for the call? and no repair done and left with the plug for the heat strip not plugged in correctly to where I had to straighten out the pins that he had bent so the plug would go on correctly!! again I`m have to repair what they did!! Then said they would call in a day to let me know about the replacement part and did not call, I had to call them about it and after three calls they responded with it would be $2100.00 to replace a part that is under warranty. To replace the part is two screws and a plug, I am not paying for something that simple to do so I said to send me the part and I would install it and never got a response from them. What kind of customer service is that?? If you want a company that you have to follow behind and clean up what they did then this is the company for you.

    Hi ***** I am sorry you are dealing with this. I do see we installed this system 6/17/2017 and have followed up on all work with you to make sure everything is in working order. The repair estimate was provided for the heat strip on 1/5/24. We would love to assist you with this and get your system back up and running. The quote we provided included a Friends of Bardi Maintenance Plan which discounted the repair 15% and provides a warranty for the work of a licensed technician. I would be happy to get you on the schedule as soon as possible.

    **** is very good at his profession. Even though it was after six when he was able to come he took his time and made sure everything was completely repaired and the water heater had no leaks. He also made sure the area was cleaned when he was finished.I would not hesitate to use the company again.
