I was deployed for much of last year, and at the end of my service, I bought my dream car. Recently, I needed something more practical and test drove a vehicle at ************. It was the end of the day, so I didnt make a decision right away. I asked specifically whether the Tesla had Full Self-Driving, and the next day I received a message from the dealership stating that it did which is an $8,000 feature.I purchased the vehicle right before the dealership closed. Less than 12 hours later, I called to clarify the Full Self-Driving feature. However, after having it checked. I discovered it was not included with this vehicle, despite being told it was with picture proof from my salesman. When I tried to raise the issue with the dealership, I was later told I was banned from purchasing any future vehicle from them. I personally felt misled during this process and deeply disappointed by how I was treated especially as a recent combat veteran just trying to make a practical purchase.Business Response

Mr. ***** purchased a car after looking at it the day before than came back to purchase the next day at either interaction he never expressed to anyone in management that he was a veteran. We do appreciate his service. After purchasing the vehicle he called the next day to say that he wanted his Camaro back and never mentioned the self driving being an issue; he said "he just made a mistake". We have an exchange program for 5 days after purchase for situations like this and he did not want to do that, he said he would call the lender and tell them he did not want the car; we informed him that the loan had already funded but we would be happy to do an exchange and put him in to a vehicle of his liking.
He had buyers remorse we offered him options to get a different vehicle and he refused, he has done negative social media posts as well.

I am rejecting this response because:The first thing I did when I got to the dealership was ask if they offered military discount which should imply that I serve in the military. It was not a case of buyers remorse but rather deception, misleading information, and fraud from the dealer. I have attached the message from their salesman telling me the vehicle has full self driving which was my main motive to swap into this vehicle. I test drove the day before, and to incentivize me to come back in they told me false information about the car the next business day.

Correct the vehicle has that option but it is a subscription based option that we do not pay for. The end user as with any Apps has to register the vehicle and pay for said apps. No where in his text did he imply that *** would pay for the subscription.Customer Answer

Complaint: 23498284
I am rejecting this response because:No the vehicle doesnt have that option. After speaking with ****** customer support the correct terminology for a Tesla with full self driving software but it not being installed is full self driving capable whereas the vehicle with everything included is full self driving. The text message clearly states the vehicle has full self driving. If I am able to submit videos, I have one from ***** themselves saying it is referred to as full self driving capable.

I purchased a Ram 5500 from their ******** location on Jan 17th 2025. They charged me 5% sales tax which is the normal tax rate for the state of ***********. However, a truck weighing over 10k lbs is only taxed at 3% in the state of MS. The ladies at the tax/tag office said that they overcharged me by $924.79. They legally could not give me the refund. They said they had to send it back to the dealership and they would refund me the money. They indicated that this happens quite often. After a few weeks go by I started calling to check on my refund. Suddenly, it was impossible to speak to a human being other than the receptionist. At ALM Automotive corporate I called between ***** times. At first you could leave a voicemail but now all of the ** mailboxes are full. When I call *** *****, I'm able to speak to a young lady who swears that she gives my message to the ** but he refuses to call me. After speaking to her 5 or 6 times she told me that she gets calls like mine every single day. She's only been with the company a few months but she has figured out that she is working for an unethical company. I know it's not a ton of money but at this point, it's the principle.Initial Complaint

I am rejecting this response because:The PDI inspection was requested from ALM, I have attached several email. After paying the ************** center $243.80 for an inspection on the vehicle and the warranty company inspecting the vehicle it showed the code was cleared and the mileage it was cleared on. *** has not been responsive via email for myself or the warranty company requested documents. I purchased a 2022 ******** **** GLE on April 20, 2024 from ******* ************** ********. At the time of the purchase the sunroof of the car had a missing visor. After signing a "We owe you" form guaranteeing that they would order the part and install it, I have been calling them weekly specifically my salesperson ********************* inquiring about the part. **** keeps blowing me off, with saying it's not him but the sales manager that's the hold up, and that he will have him call me....THAT HAS YET TO HAPPEN!! This is the 3rd time I have purchased a car with Atlanta ************** all of the other locations ********* and ************ were VERY professional...this location just the opposite, I will NEVER recommend this location to anyone looking to purchase a car!!Initial Complaint

Hello, i purchased a vehicle from *** in January and the dealership has since closed. In June of 2023, I cancelled an Easycare warranty coverage and the *** corporate offices (who covers all warranty cancellations for the closed down dealer) were cut a check for $2,238.13 to send to *********** who is carrying my loan. The dealership claimed, in late June, that they sent the check and then later mentioned it must have gotten lost in the mail so they cancelled it. They have yet to reissue another check and are no longer responding to my emails or phone calls. I have spoken with *********** and Easycare and unfortunately there is nothing either company can do. Theyve said its up to the dealership to release the check. I purchased the vehicle out of state so unfortunately im not able to go and speak to anyone in person. Im hoping you all can help in some way or lead me in the right direction.Thank you so much,*********************Business Response

**************** provided fake paystubs for proof of income, when the finance company asked for bank records to verify the info provided, she could not produce them. She kept or vehicle for 7 days and put 719 miles on the vehicle. In accordance with the bailment agreement, we charged for mileage and rent.

I purchased a vehicle today from *********** There was a discussion about the fees being charged. The original paperwork I signed before going back to the finance department listed a doc/processing fee. The dealer had adjusted the price of the vehicle to get to my requested out the door price and each adjustment left the doc/processing fee. However I noticed when I got home the final paperwork with the finance department said customer service pack which was an optional item which I never would have accepted. When o pointed out the taxes were incorrect they changed the amount and suddenly the registration amount had been incorrect so they increased that. When I looked at the breakdown of the registration fees all of a sudden the registration was $40 but there were over $200 in fees to process when the registration had been only $25 the actual cost. The finance manager suddenly said owe the fees were incorrect they just asked me. They made up every excuse about why the prices changed as well as being dishonest about losing money in the deal but said if the fees were different than charged I would be refunded trying to hide the fact it wouldnt be wrong because they were paying themselves. Fees that had to be charged suddenly werent there when the price of the vehicle was more. I just want the $799 refunded for the customer service pal which was not explained and suddenly included as a line item when the original paperwork I signed did not include that.Business Response

As you stated the price was adjusted to get to the out the door price you requested the other are always left inplaceCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
This ended up not being the out the door price as they added $500 back as they had removed an item that was originally included. I also discovered what was shown for the original out the door price is not even allowed in Georgia. The advertised price must include any dealer fees and the only thing that can be added is government taxes. I have added the original out the door quote that was provided. I would be happy to settle for the agreed upon out the door price and be refunded the extra $500 I paid at the dealership. $7995 was the advertised price and was to be the out the door price.
Sincerely,

You paid $8500 out the door for this vehicle which is well below the advertised price plus government feesCustomer Answer

Complaint: 20581342
I am rejecting this response because:
Well that is a lie given the advertised price was $7995. How is that well below the advertised price plus government fees I attached the out the door price I was quoted to show what was being added on to the advertise price. Luckily I retained a screenshot of the advertisement of the vehicle which clearly shows it was listed for $7995. Government fees given it is an out of state purchase would not have been that much either.
Sincerely,

I purchased my car back in April 2022.On my car I have a sensor cap missing. My salesman (*****) said he would put that sensor replacement in my contract as a "We Owe". Which I signed!Once all the paperwork was completed, I was told to come back up the next day so the service department can look at my car for the sensor replacement. I sat up there for over 2 hrs for them to come back & tell me they were only able to complete my ***************** which I wasn't even there for.Next I'm being told to call up & set up an appt when it was more convenient for my schedule. When doing so, I asked for my salesman who I was told, no longer worked there. I decided to just go up there to speak to a manager to get better assistance. I spoke with **** (the manager) He was busy & said he would look into it & get back to me. I never heard back from ****. I called him left voicemails with no response. I decided to just call the ********** again since **** wasn't responding. I spoke to a lady, *******. I informed her of the situation, she was nice enough to say she would look in my file to give me some type of info. Later that day I got a text stating there was not a "We Owe" in my file. Which puzzled me because I know I signed it?! MY BIGGEST CONCERN is while taking my car to get an oil change, the Kia ********** told me my car was ********. When *** sold me my car , I was NEVER TOLD THIS INFORMATION! I also tried to replace the piece myself but I have run in to trouble because I have to order parts that are ******** and Ive been told there's a different computer system the ********* use that the **** don't.NOW my brakes are going bad. When taking it for repairs, ** being told that my parts are hard to find & the system is different!? Ive barely had this vehicle 1 year. Ive been trying this entire time to get help! If Im not able to replace the parts then my 2020 vehicle is a LOSS!This ********** is now no longer in business!I bought a car I cant fix! I feel scammed!Business Response

******************** went out of business in February. That being said **************** did sign the Carfax that shows the vehicle was originally from ******. All Kia ********** are manufactured in ********** *******, they all have the same parts.
