      I'm only giving 2 stars because my garage door is excellent. However I had my garage door installed in January 2025. The top panel design has never been right. I have called and called again and again. The women in the office are so nice but nobody ever calls me to come out and look at the panels or offer me a solution so I can get what I paid for and what I want my door to look like. It's now June and the top panels are still not the design I want.

      I contacted the company on Sept. 16 for a replacement of the garage door spring which had come loose on the right side. There was no other issues with the door. Price quoted by the representative was was $480.00 when I called stated someone would be out. When technician arrived he gave a quote to replace both springs for $500.00. When he started testing the door it was not going all the way down , so he made adjustments on the side of the motor. The next morning when I pushed the opener the door did not open and something popped off. Called the company back and was told that someone would come out. **** said repair was NOT covered under warranty although he could fix it and it would be $300 plus not including labor. I called the company and spoke with someone and he quoted a price of $120.00 for repair. Tech charges was $156.27. This was an additional charge of $156.27 to the $500.50. He tested the door and so far it is working okay.After speaking with someone who had springs replaced, will not recommend this company no use it again.

      I had them come out and fix dock door off track. tech's came out and fixed door within an hour. Was invoiced and emailed within minutes of completion. However, was charged twice. After multiple calls, I've yet to receive a credit back. I did finally receive a call back today, after spent my time on the phone trying to get an answer and positive result. However, I haven't received credit or so much as an email confirming this has been done. Was advised that I should receive credit back in a couple weeks. This is the same words I was told a month ago when I first called. So in my experience, they can fix a door, invoice, and email, quicker than running a credit card number to issue credit. makes you wonder WTF???? Does their credit card machine and email system not work? Perhaps they should move a few tech's into the office. Mind you, everyone I've dealt with has been polite and courteous, which is great. I guess...My credit company still wants me to pay regardless...

      I would not recommend this company. If I could give a zero rating I would. Terrible service and very poor communication/updates with their customers. I was supposed to have our garage door spring replaced last week. Each day they schedule an appointment and never show up or call me to reschedule. I have to call them. This has been going on for one week now and once again they did not show up today.

Unfortunately, I don't see your information in our system, and I believe that you may have our company confused with another company. There are multiple other garage door companies that have similar trade names to Overhead Door Company of NE Georgia and Overhead Door Company of Atlanta, which does lead to customer confusion in the marketplace.       On 3/14/23, we had an appointment for a quote for two garage door replacements for 12:30 pm. At 11:30 am I received a call to move the appointment to 12:00 pm. I left a message that i could not change the apointment. The representative called me back and confirmed the 12:30, but asked me are we replaciing the garage doors? I said, the office did not mention we were replacing the garage doors? He said yes, and laughed. The Residential Representive arrived on time. He measured the doors and I opened them. I discussed the three doors I wanted quoted. He asked the purchase date, I said between April and May. He told me, he was only quoting the highest model ***** door, with a $100 discount, but the website discount was $200. His quote was $4000 for two doors, with an attitude. I asked him to give quotes like he gives everyone else. He walked to his car and I told him he had an attitude and I will let my husband know. Treating customers like they wasted the companies time is wrong.

      I ordered a new garage door on Aug 26, 2022 and was promised delivery by Nov 1. Of course, there were "supply chain" issues and I was finally given an installation of Nov 29. I was told late on Nov 28 that I was the first on the installation list for the next day. I cleared out my garage and was waiting for the crew to appear by 9:00am. At 9:30am I received a call from ****************** that their installer had called in sick with Covid and my installation would need to be rescheduled. She would check the schedule and call me back before the end of day to let me know when they could complete the installation. I asked her to cancel the order and return my 50% deposit. Her manager told me that they could not refund the entire amount because I had a "special order" door. I asked him what made it "special order" and he first stated the color. I ordered Desert Tan which is listed as a Standard Finish in their brochure. Then he told me it was the size that was "special." Please know that I have a standard garage door that is 7x18 (standard is defined as 7-8 feet high by ***** feet wide for a double garage door). Then he told me that it would take several days "to process" the refund. It took literally minutes for them to process my deposit on Aug 26 so I fail to see why it should take several days to process the refund. During my conversations with **************** and the manager, I was initially told that the installation needed to be rescheduled because the installer had Covid, then because the installer was sick, then because the installer had a family emergency.Overhead Door Company of Atlanta makes promises it cannot keep and lies to its customers. Absolutely disreputable.
