      I took my 2020 Kia ******** into AAA car Care for an oil change. I have been using them for 4 years ago starting with my 2016 ****** Sentra. In this case I was told the oil change included tire rotation. I agreed although I didn't need them rotated because I drive only 3-4k mile per year. I was told I needed rear brake pads and rotors. The estimated cost was $565.99. I made an appointment for the work. I mentioned it to my brother, and he said I shouldn't need rotors due to my limited driving. I decided to take my SUV to my prior brake mechanic in ******** to verify the need. Luckly, I did because I was told I didn't need rotors. Consequently, I cancelled the appointment and had my rear brake pads replaced by a company I found online. It was NUBRAKES. They came to my apartment and the tech inspected my rotors and again a second brake expert said I didn't need rotors. He replaced my pads for $212.14 Lastly, I recall I was charged for a full brake service in 2023 on my 2016 ****** Sentra that had only 40k miles. I now realize I may have been cheated out of money for unnecessary repairs. I was so disappointed that I was disrespected as a customer, and a senior female. I will never go there again.They can't be trusted and that is shameful!

      This review is specifically about the *** Toco Hills repair shop, but I suspect the other branches have similar predatory practices and try to scam customers. I towed my car here with a dead battery, thinking that *** will take care of me in an ethical way. But instead they tried to sell me a $1k+ alternator as well as a few other repairs and small charges that added up to $2600. I ended up taking my car to a trusted mechanic instead. This business is predatory stay away.

      Had to have my battery jumped and be towed on separate occasions. AAA never sent the message to the companies and had me waiting stranded all night with children in tow. I do not recommend them at all. They then had the nerve to cancel me without giving me any specific reason why and no refund of payment. Better off not giving this company your money for lack of service or poor service. I had an upper level more expensive membership. They got their money and screwed me, the customer. Tell your friends and family to save their hard earned money. It is cheaper to pay $20/6 months with your insurance company and get better quality service. Service has gone way down. They took my money for a Gold membership and then canceled me for zero reason and refuse a refund. Highly suggest that you look elsewhere and do not renew. I will be spreading the word fast amongst family and friends.
