1 star********! Falsely advertising a quality lift chair to disabled persons is low. Whats worse is how much this business charges for the chair! You can buy a better chair off Temu for a fraction of the cost! My grandmother received a chair from this company back in 2022. It had broken not long after she received it and someone had to come out and fix it which should have been a red flag to her (but shes elderly). Shes been adamant that she was told the chair was free, just pay shipping costs (or something like that-a one-time fee), only to find out that it wasnt free at all. This company had been calling my grandmother regarding her balance trying to set up a payment arrangement. My grandmother is not in a position physically or mentally to handle such business so she directed the company to me. ********, one of the companys minions had been calling me regarding the account stating that he was calling to set up a payment plan. I returned the call and voiced my concerns and suspicions regarding the chair and the price. ******** lost all of his fake professionalism once I told him that my grandmother doesnt have the money for a payment plan and that they can come get their broken equipment or send the balance to collection. He then proceeded to say that I needed to get a handle on my grandmothers finances and spending. Funny, I did and thats why hes calling. Furthermore, its truly not your place to speak on someone elses life or finances, ********. Stop scamming disabled and elderly people! I have spent over $ ***** on a very low quality product that I could have bought from ****** for $400. Also they still want $600 more. I cant see how this is legal. I have no contract with them. The purchase was supposed to be for the full amount. Only at delivery was notified that they would bill me.America's Lift Chair LLC

We delivered the product to the customer according to the terms agreed upon by the customer. The account notes show no complaints by the customer, and the customer did not exercise his option to return the chair within his 14 day trial. I'm so mad I had my chair since Nov 23 then been suposesed to come fix and never did still anit fixed sill its now on my credit and I'm not paying for it till it's fixed I been called and num is no longer in service now I got debt collectors calling me.America's Lift Chair LLC

The customer's complaint was turned over to the manufacturer to be addressed through the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's notes indicate that the needed parts were sent to the customer but the technician was unable to coordinate with the customer to complete the repair.Review fromBrian H

Yeah, this company ***** besides it not reclining all the way back. The controllers always go out every month or so and instead of just replacing the chair or fixing the problem. The person on the other end is rude about it and tells me h*** get to it when its available. I would not recommend this company to anyone I dont even want to give it a star.America's Lift Chair LLC

To clarify, these chairs are not designed to recline all the way flat, and we have to work within the manufacturer's warranty to resolve any reported issues. I received this chair and a few weeks after receiving it it stopped working. I called the customer service and they sent someone out to fix it but again it stopped working! I have been trying to get this chair fixed for over a year now and Im still waiting! I call them and I cant get ahold of anyone and they wont call me back! Im very frustrated with this company and I dont know what to do! They were charging me $99 a month when I first received the chair and they lowered my payment but Im still paying for a defective chair!America's Lift Chair LLC

We have been in constant contact with this customer and currently working diligently with the manufacturer to get the chair fixed. The chair has been fixed previously, but the replacement parts failed again after a few months. We have also discounted the account significantly for the inconvenience and suspended payments until the repairs can be completed. I brought this piece of junk in December of 22 and I've had the worst experience ever. 1st 3 out of 4 legs fit the 1 leg is put up bcuz it defective and I told them that over and over again, nothing. The chairs massage and heat is defective 2 I also reported that 2 no avail. My floor is damaged still no1 has came out 2 fix anything but they can hassle and threaten u 4 ur money.They has also compromised my account several times 2 the point that it affected my credit rating and I couldn't get my money back bcuz Chime seems 2 think that I gave them my information in order 4 them 2 keep taking money from my account even when the card wz canceled. I have 2 pay 2 get my floor fixed b4 I can move, they don't care. They can call,text,back 2 back 4 the money but the chair is still broken. I went back and checked all notes on the account for each phone conversation we ever had with the customer. There is absolutely no mention of any defects in any conversation and no service reports have been opened. If the customer is having issues with the **********************, we are happy to send out a technician to address those issues at no charge according to the manufacturer's warranty. I HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIS CRAPPY CHAIR A WEEK AFTER IT WAS DELIVERED. I CALLED THEM TO COME AND GET IT TO NO AVAIL. THEY SENT A REPAIRMAN TO FIX IT HE HAD TO TAKE IT APART TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT AND I GOT TO SEE HOW POORLY IT WAS MADE. The customer agreed to a significant discount and reduced payments for the chair. We dispatched a technician to diagnose any issues with the chair, had parts shipped from the manufacturer, and had a technician complete the repairs. We spoke with the customer today, 6/13/23, and she confirmed the technician did fix the chair and it is working. The customer also acknowledged her commitment to pay the low, discounted payments until the remainder of the heavily discounted balance is paid.Review fromSharon L

Hi. My mother is 81 years old. She weighs 290. The chair has thick cushions on the arms, that keeps her from being able to sit properly. Even with the legs down all the way, her legs dont reach the ground. It has to tilt forward for her to sit. It makes a terrible noise when moving it up or down. My mother hates it. Its so uncomfortable for her. I told them about my mothers height and weight, when ordering the chair, and the rep. told me, reassured me I was ordering the right one. What they advertised is incorrect, their claims arent true. The chair isnt worth it. Dont deal with this company, its a headache. Yes, one matter was resolved. It took weeks to receive the chair, they dumped it at my front door and left it where I could get out my front door. I was out of the country, when it was left . It was left for atleast 2 weeks before I got home, it rained getting the box completely wet, I was afraid it mildewed the chair, but it didnt. So, my poor mother didnt get to try it out for the 14 days. They did discount the chair for me, claiming and reassuring me my mother would love it. But she doesnt like it at all. Also, my mothers debit card was compromised so I order her another card, I had automatic payments coming out to this company. I never called and gave them the new debit card number, but somehow they have continued to take the money out of her account. So Im calling the bank. Also, I had automatic payment, to take out on or around the 21st of the month, she receives her SS check on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. They tried to take it out on the 16th and the check bounced. So far they have been a real pain in the. They seem to have an answer for everything, which doesnt rectify how unhappy their customers are. This isnt the best chair like they projected over and over again. They lied. I bought another lift chair from a different company and were happy with it while the American lift chair company chair sits in my living room being unused.America's Lift Chair LLC

We fulfilled our part of the transaction by taking the order and shipping the chair as agreed. We sell our chairs with a 14 day trial that begins on the delivery date so that customers can make sure they are happy with their purchase. We have no control over someone being out of the country for a prolonged period of time when the chair is delivered. There are no complaints about the chair ever mentioned in the call notes for the account. Only that the customer was having an issue with the payments, so we extended a discount in the amount of $2,699.61 and lowered her payments to $40 per month. Additionally, we are unable to run any card that has not been provided to us by the customer for payment. We have only run payments as agreed upon by the customer.Review fromJ. E.

I ordered a lift chair back in Oct of 2022. On the site it claims that they can deliver it in 3 weeks, according to their FAQ. It has now been 5 months and the last time I called, the product is still on BACK ORDER!!!You pay upfront to even start the process for a chair and the trial doesn't actually begin until you receive the product. The 100 they took in the beginning, is now a 5 month wait with no product.Very unhappy about the service I have received. It is true that we were dealing with a backorder issue that unfortunately affected our ability to get a lift chair shipped to Mr. ****** in a timely manner. Just to clarify, we do not require customers to pay for the lift chair upfront. It is a $99.99 deposit that was gladly refunded in full to ************** when the order was cancelled.
