    We hired **** ***** with Exterior Makeover to close in our porch and give us a sunroom on February 14, 2023. After the money was given for each order the excuses began. There were numerous text and calls to no avail with repeated lies of when he expected the stones and/or glass. We eventually got some measurements for the glass to be delivered. NEXT for the stone work to be installed. AGAIN another lie. We were always waiting on the stone to be installed "by the stone guys". There was always a delay in supplies or an excuse as to why this product hadn't arrived or the work wasn't completed. DO NOT use this company. He is a *****. It's people like this who give honest, hard working contractors a bad name. Last reported he is going out of business. Just remember the name. A leopard doesn't change his stripes. The work was never completed one year and 4 months later. ******.

    I will let the facts speak for themselves. We hired Exterior Makeovers/**** ***** to build an In-law-suite at our house. We paid a substantial deposit and ground was broken. However, there was delay after delay. Our backyard was dirt for a year with no more work being done. Numerous phone calls/texts resulted in unfulfilled promises. After a year, we decided we no longer wanted to continue with the project and requested a refund which was refused. We met with **** to develop a plan to do interior renovations for the money paid. Again-no progress. We were left with no other option than to hire an attorney. We entered into another contract to convert the original in-law suite to a two car garage. One month before the new contract was to end, he finally showed up to start the project. After several more months of waiting, the garage was finally framed. Months later the roof was installed. After numerous texts and calls, the siding was finally completed. We were very patient, but at the 2 year point, we had had enough of the delays and excuses. We told **** we no longer needed his services and would finish the garage ourselves. The building process was not a pleasant experience. It should not take two years to build a simple garage. I would not recommend hiring Exterior Makeovers.

    *****, Im sorry but we got here together. The idea that you waited 2 years for me, while you waited patiently is just ridiculous. You made choices to back out of the contract that started the chain of events. This experience has prompted us to take steps to ensure it never happens again. If you want to discuss this further please give me a call anytime. And Ill say this again- my offer still stands to finish the few remaining items on the garage. ****
