    Was turned to collections without first filing insurance. It has been less than 6 months. I want the collections off of my accounts and I want the insurance filed.

    Had a mammogram 10/19/2023. They used the wrong insurance. I asked them to update info, which they said they did. Now I've received a bill from a collection agency. My insurance says they never filed a claim through them. Tried calling numbers and getting a hold of people. Call and them it says enter mailbox number and can't talk to a person and it just hangs up. Very frustrated and don't know how to reach them and get this resolved.

    I received service of a mammogram on 2/28/2023 paid the copay. I received a bill from a collection agency as of 5/07/2023 requesting payment. I never received a bill/invoice from South Gwinnett Radiology so why in the world would I be sent to collections! This is now impacting my credit. I have been having the hardest time getting in touch with South Gwinnett Rdaiology regarding this. Very frustrated.

    I am irate! I had a scan performed at a local facility on Feb 26, 2023 in which Gwinnett Radiology obviously submitted the results. I have not received a bill from Gwinnett Radiology and today, May 9, 2023, I received a letter in the mail from a collection agency regarding a balance I owe. I cannot pay the balance if I have not received an invoice. I am highly upset that this is a normal business practice for this facility to send an account to a collection agency when they have not advised the individual of a balance. Poor business practice!!! I pay my bills! I demand this be recalled from the collection agency and a bill provided me by *********** the balance, I should also be compensated for such an irrational business practice!

    I went in for a breast biopsy in September 2021. I just received a bill from a collection agency regarding this matter. I have never gotten a phone call or bill directly from this office till now. If I owe I don't have a problem paying but for them to not contact me directly by phone or mail - instead just turning over to a collection agency is a little Absurd. Contact your patients directly in any form possible before just releasing documents over to a ***************** who then send out a notice via Mail that I received stating I owed this amount. Simple as that you could have done this as well not to mention I received this letter from the ***************** on September 2, 2022 then the letter has a date on it for August 18,2022, why the delay from this agency not sure. Now almost a year later at the end of this month you are trying to collect on a open bill I have with your facility - a simple letter or bill being sent to my home address or a phone call would have been a little bit more Professional in my opinion considering you do have all my contact information. Not to mention now with this agency they have put a hit on my credit and this to could have been avoided.

    The charge of ****** in question is not for her biopsy on 9/8/21 but rather her diagnostic left breast ultrasound on 9/3/21. The patient was mailed bills for this ultrasound on 9/28/21 and 11/11/21, according to our billing service MBMS. She was not placed in collections until january 2022. Due to software issue with the collections agency, she was not billed until 8/19/22. The collections agency rep followed up with a phone call on 9/8/22. According to the collections agency, they worked out payment terms for the bill. This patient has not been reported to any credit bureau service so there should be no negative affect on her credit at all. If the patient can provide evidence otherwise, we will be happy to help resolve this issue.
