  HORRIBLE BILLING! Had a procedure. The hospital used this radiology group. The next month, insurance paid all but small amount due me for co-pays. The third month, as I am waiting for them to bill me the balance of what I need to pay them, I receive a **** Collection ****! After calling 5 numbers, as there is no direct one for this company, I am told it has not gone to collections, this is just how they bill! This put me through over one hour of phone calls and fear for my credit standing, as I always pay my bills. They need to bill directly from their company and have a direct number for contact. At least, state on the billing correspondence that they send you, the debt collection company on the bill is used for their company billing and you are NOT in collections!

  I used South Gwinnett Radiology in July 2023. I paid my bill and I keep getting threatening letters and calls that I owe the money even though I have proof it was paid. I received another letter 1-17-2024. I called the ********************* today and a rude lady told me I do owe the money. I called South Gwinnett Radiology and they said I did not owe it. I called back the ********************* spoke to the same lady and she said when we hung up she realized it was wrong I do not owe money. Yet she did not call me back to let me know. Bad Business can ruin a persons credit. Will never use South Gwinnett Radiology Again.

  I pay this company annually to read my mammogram results. I called their ***** number that is listed on ********* received in October of 2022, and paid over the phone with my Amex. On Jan 19th, 2023 I received a bill from a collection agency stating that the bill for $252 had not been paid. I pulled the bill that I had marked "paid" and looked for the charge on my ***************** On October 27th the amount of $252 was paid to a company called South ********* Medical..apparently by mistake. I assume a drop down menu was used and the billing company paid this company in error. On Nov 2 the incorrect company credited the amount of $252 back to my card. However, no one ever notified me of the error and I had no idea that I still owed this money. I couldn't believe that after years of dealing with South Gwinnett Radiology that they would turn me over to collections due to THEIR error and not even ***** me with a phone call. Terrible billing practices! And the sad thing is that unless I want to change where I go for mammograms, I'll have to deal with them again this year.

  I am very sorry this happened. We have changed billing services effective 1/1/23 and we hope no more errors of this sort will occur. We appreciate your loyalty and business and would not want to lose you as a patient.
