    In November of last year my son had an incident at this facility which resulted in a head laceration. The facility did not call either parent or emergency contact as per their policy or file an incident report as mandated by the state. I was aware of the incident after picking up my son from the daycare and noticing an open wound on his head that was still bleeding. I took him to the ** where the doctor confirmed the wound was hours old and should have been sutured at the time but since the daycare neglected to contact us and allow him the proper medical care there was nothing they could do. I notified the daycare the following day and they eventually admitted to finding the incident within their camera footage and to their fault of not reporting it per their policy. Meeting with the director the following Monday, ********, she verbally communicated that they were apologetic and to attempt to compensate for the incident they would pay for the medical bill resulting from the incident. After forwarding them the **** I ***** nothing back for nearly two months. In Jan of 24 I was notified by the hospital that nothing had been paid. I reached out to the facility to which ******** emailed me responding that everything had been forwarded to their insurance provider and would be handled. Later I received a final bill, which prompted me to reach out to the daycare to which they responded via email that it was against their policy to pay any medical bills and that no fault was their in relation to this incident. I then called the state to ensure the proper documentation incident report was filed by them, to which they notified me nothing had ever been filed. After reaching back out several times I was met with aggression and denial that they were at fault for anything. When I realized that my options were limited I made a ****** review to which they responded with false allegations of financial irregularities and discrediting my valid concern regarding the incident.

    I pulled my son from the childcare center and gave an advance notice of 4 weeks. His last day was before the summer ventures program was to start. They charged me for the summer ventures program even though my son would not be attending it and I gave them 4 weeks written notice. When I inquired about it when I was charged the Director told me that the refund with come with my deposit refund. When I received my deposit refund the summer ventures portion was not included. I emailed them to let them know and they have not refunded me.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I did not realize it was for the wrong location. I thought it was for their corporate headquarters.
