    This contractor hired through AHS is giving me the run around about fixing my refrigerator. Inconsistent information, bouncing the issue of parts being ordered and not willing to follow up with AHS to get resolution. I have had no kitchen full sized refrigerator for 8 1/2 full days and was told to contact them after they said they do not have a required document to process. There is no confirmation tracking number to show the part has not ordered plus there is misdiagnosis. This same issue has been going on with this refrigerator for 2 1/2 years. Im absolutely stunned at the lack of compassion shown over the phone today after waiting since Friday for a phone call. I was told when the compressor comes in I have to wait ***** hours to call them back out for the original problem of the ******* top mounted ice maker not working which ******* already has documented (researched does not work due to an engineering design. I have an elderly mother and ******* who needs access in addition to the rest of the family. The customer service was awful. Answering the other phone back and forth and the front door ? Home ? Unacceptable. I called this company but another company answered. Is this 2 companies operating as one?

    I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your refrigerator.
    You *** also want to consider reaching out to AHS your warranty company to advocacy status . They *** be able to offer advice or help you resolve the issue. As an manager with Appliance Care, I can provide you with some general advice that *** help you resolve the issue.

    First, I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the refrigerator directly to explain the situation and ask for assistance. Be sure to have your model and serial number available when you call. We are a appliance contractor company  that work with your warranty company, we have to follow all AHS rules and regulation.

    If the issue is not resolved satisfactorily, you *** want to consider seeking  a transfer or a cash out option.

    In the meantime, you *** want to consider alternative options for keeping your food cold, such as purchasing a mini-fridge or renting a temporary refrigerator.

    Again, I'm sorry for the frustration you're experiencing and I hope that you are able to resolve the issue soon.
