On March 4th, I was greeted by a car salesman. We sat down and I expressed to him what kind of vehicle I was interested in. I also explained that I didn't want my credit pulled, and the reasons why, unless we found something.
Eventually, we did find something, and my credit was pulled. I was told to come back the next day and the vehicle would be there. After I got off from work, I called to see of the vehicle had arrived. The salesman I had was not at work that day (odd) but they sent me to another salesman who told me they didnt get the car, no explanation but they could find me another car.
I have had no calls or messages from them since.
Now, my credit is really messed up. I am disappointed with this company and will never use them again and will let others know not to trust them either.
I haven't been to a dealer in years, now I remember why.

ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS! On November 11, 2023, we were hoodwinked into purchasing a supposed 2022 Lexus ** *** * ***** ****** Edition from those swindlers at Five Star Ford in Warner Robins, GA. After tirelessly searching for this vehicle, we were initially impressed with the rapid-fire responses from the sales rep, Megan B****, who conveniently vanished once the deal was done.
They fed us a line about this car being well-maintained and previously owned by a local auto performance shop owner. We were suckered into believing it was a "Ford Blue Advantage Certified" vehicle, assuring us of a 139-point inspection and a 90-day/4,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty coverage (which, surprise, surprise, turned out to be utterly worthless). As if that wasn't enough, they peddled us another overpriced warranty through Total Warranty Services, probably getting a nice kickback in the process.
Fast forward to December 17, 2023, and I'm cruising down the highway in this lemon they sold me when suddenly, the thing starts falling apart! No warning lights, no error messages—just a cacophony of grinding metal and the sickening realization that I've been duped. Turns out, the engine was on the brink of self-destruction, courtesy of Five Star Ford's shoddy maintenance and outright negligence.
I hauled the wreckage to my local Lexus dealer, who were equally flabbergasted by the mess they uncovered. Heavy debris in the oil, bearings shot, camshafts grooved beyond recognition—the works! And what's the excuse from Five Star Ford? Oh, they conveniently produced a service report from October 2023, claiming they topped up the oil. But guess what? The car had been running on fumes long before that, a fact they conveniently overlooked in their rush to make a quick buck.
So here I am, without a vehicle, thanks to these low-life scammers at Five Star Ford.

I purchased a vehicle from Five Star Ford in January of 2023. I've purchased multiple vehicles from different Five Star locations in my area over the years, but I finally realized that each time, I told the salesman that I'd been pre-approved by my bank, each time, I was told that they didn't deal with that bank and would set up an account with some bogus institution that I'd never heard of and I'd have to refinance with my bank later. I am concerned whether that is standard practice for the Five Star dealerships or was it all about my situation. I do have decent credit, so there's no excuse for the finance team not trying to set me up with my bank. I've bought several vehicles from this automotive group, but I won't be purchasing another vehicle from any of the Five Star locations.

Thank you for your business Mr. Morgan both this purchase and past purchases. We are sorry if we went with a bank that you weren't familiar with or that you had already arranged. To finance with one of our lenders instead of someone you are pre-approved with is a several step process and would have been explained and documented a long the way. We do act as a liaison between you and multiple lenders so that we can find a lender that has a great approval and structure for each of our customers situation. On your most recent purchase we went with a large credit union based out of Florida that has competitive auto rates in the current lending environment. We hope that going forward you would consider us again.
