      I signed up with Lighthouse Fitness thru 10 Gym in Ft *****, AR on 2/7/24. I was taking care of my mother who passed away recently and inquired with the local representative about how to either pay the early penalty or end my contract when it expired. He told me to email the company and notify them of my request. I emailed multiple times with no response so I contacted him again and was told my contract would end and my last payment would be on 1/29/25 and no further action would be needed and I would not be charged any more. Now they are trying to say I have to continue my contract month to month until I send a certified letter even tho I sent multiple emails to the contact page on their website as instructed. This company is a scamthere is no contact number except for billing and an email that never gets responded to so they can keep taking peoples money. I gave them notice beginning 11/13/24 via email which was well beyond the 30 days required and will not be paying anything beyond the 12 month contract I committed to. I have the text messages saved from my conversations with **** as proof of my attempts to take care of this. I have attached these as proof.

      I was signed up for a personal trainer through lighthouse fitness management i was signed up for a 12 month program with the understanding that I was moving to ********* in 4 weeks the gentleman signing me up said he had to sign me up for 12 months but that I would pay for one month show my new rental agreement and that my account would be void and it would be canceled well I had two sessions with a ******* one of which he double booked so I was training with one other person that I did not know then the ******* quit with out saying anything to anyone taking my information with him I was reassured that my account would be canceled and I moved to ********* after a week of being in ********* a charge of 220 dollars was taken from my bank account when I reached out the representative that signed me up was fired and I was reassured yet again that the cancelation would be made but I have yet to hear back from the company and they are still trying to take money out of my account and now no one will answer my calls or emails to get anything resolved

      Back in September a Lighthouse trainer(*****) signed me and my wife up for training. We were very weary and wasnt sure we could afford the membership. We even expressed this to ***** who advised us that its worth it but if we wanna cancel we have 3 business days to cancel. I called ***** two days later and told him me and my wife want to cancel our contract he then said when I come into the gym we can talk more about it . When I arrived at the gym he stated he had to reach out to his supervisor via email so he can cancel our contract and he would get back to me . After that day I never seen him again nor did I hear anything about my contract. I just recently received a call from a debt collector stating I own lighthouse fitness 6k which is crazy I attempted to contact lighthouse asking at the gym for a manager who could help me my number was taking and email but no one called or emailed me I then called the number on ****** for corporate got a female manager who also took my info after I told her my situation she even stated thats not right and she was gonna give my info to her supervisor who was supposed to reach out to me that Monday and never did Lighthouse is unprofessional and is run by scam artist who steal money I never attended a session canceled my contract within 2 days with ***** (who ghosted me) was contacted by a debt collector stating I owe 6k and was given the runaround when I attempted to get in contact with Lighthouse and rectify this issue because I Dont own them 6k

      Lighthouse employee at the gym had me sign a contract for a full month service getting 8 training sessions for a full months payment. Then denied me my last 5 sessions of training because the employee got light house didn't enter my full payment. Making it seem as if i only paid half. When trying to call him or speak to a supervisor to correct the issue and have my contract ready and my back statement ready they refused me training for 2 weeks. The Employee have me very poor customer service and no apology. I DONOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. The contract is bogus to get out of and the service is so not worth the overly priced ***** 30 minutes training.

      I was weary of signing up for personal training services with Lighthouse Fitness through a 10Gym in *****, ******** because I am a travel nurse and cannot make any long term commitments. But I was assured by the salesperson that in the event my contract in ***** was cancelled/ended that all I would need to provide is mail with my name and new address on it and my lease agreement and they would cancel my membership. That turned out to be false. I have gone through h*** trying to prove to management that I have moved out of the state for work on 9/29/2024 and would no longer be able to use services for the month of October, which they are still trying to charge me for. After sending a photo of the post office address change form with the post date stamp on the form, my lease agreement in the state of Virginia by my landlord and letting them know my mail is coming in the next few days and that I would send that to prove my temporary residence as a travel RN they still attempted to charge my account this morning $200 for the month of October. They are well aware that I am a travel nurse, OK is not my state of residence, and this company wants me to get a new drivers license from the state of ******** and send that to them before they can review further this is not what I was told. I feel that this company is being disingenuous and I will never work with them again or any other fitness management company Lastly my personal trainer that I was working with had to cancel my last session for the week the day before I moved to ******** which is fine but I would like lighthouse to refund just that one session($50) It is asenine to force someone to pay $200 per month for the next year for services they are not using, for services this business is not rendering to myself. They need to do better especially after I have proven that I have moved. I am asking for refund of $50 for the canceled session and no further billing.

      I signed up for personal training on June 13th. I was never contacted to begin sessions. I reached out via email to the gym and heard nothing. I went to the gym and left a message on a sticky note. I eventually heard back from a trainer on July 25. I gave them my availability. I heard nothing for 2 weeks. I reached out again and finally set up a session. In the meantime I never received my contract. I want to cancel because I have been charge for 4 months so the only receiving one session. I have asked many time to be called. I have sent many email and have not received any responses. This business does not have a working number. There is no one to get a hold of to resolve this.

      Thank you for reaching out to us on this matter! Lighthouse Fitness has a number of methods of contact or notification, which are defined in the signed agreement. All manner of correspondence is in written form to ensure documentation of all matters discussed. That said, Lighthouse Fitness has not handled new personal training accounts in this location or market since early 2024, and has no record of a member under this name. Based on the statement made by the member of beginning their program in Ju ne 2024, the member has an agreement with Gold's Gym, not Lighthouse Fitness. Lighthouse Fitness has no association with this member account, access to the account details, nor should any complaint of the member experience reflect on Lighthouse Fitness, as they do not service this account, nor have any funds been paid to the company. We would encourage the member to discuss any questions with Gold's Gym through the methods of communication established in their agreement with **********.

      I sign up thinking it's like any other subscription service. Get charged a flat amount per month in exchange for the service provided. Maybe I'm stupid for not noticing a termination fee or looking up the service beforehand. The trainer is like, "yea, yea, you'll be big and strong. Don't you want to be strong?" And rushed me through the paperwork. Well, fast forward a few months and I'm in a financial hardship. I need to cut my spending big-time. I try to cancel this one and I'm hit not only with a cancelation fee, but also payment for the next 30 days. I can't afford to do this. Charging a subscription service as an installment is extremely predatory.

      My trainer did not show for the last appointment I had scheduled (June 14) and never reached out to let me know. I texted him and he did not respond. No one from Lighthouse has reached out and I keep getting charged monthly training I am not receiving. There is NO contact info on their website, which is insanely suspicious. I have emailed twice via the "Contact" link on their website and have not been in touch with anyone.

      I signed a contract in may of 2023 for personal training at the ****** golds gym location and was told this was not an auto renewing contract and I would have to resign to continue after a year. Contract expired in may of 2024 and I am still being charged as of July 9 2024 for $720 for service I am not receiving. I went through two personal trainers and lost the last one the first week of may with 26 sessions still to use. No attempt was made by light house fitness to make this right. When I try to cancel I get told I have to talk to a manager that never is there and they will not give information to proceed past this manager.

      Signed for 12 month agreement and after two month trainer dissapered I requested ********* trainer kept on making payment after 4-5 month no response came I put a hold on cc and then they want money but no resolution with resuming session
