      My husband and I booked flights to ****** through Hawaiian Airlines to elope in 2021 because they had a direct flight option from *******. One week before we were supposed to go there was a big wave of Covid cases nationally and the governor of ******** asked visitors not to come and threatened enforcing a resort bubble. Which meant we wouldnt be able to get married. We canceled our flights and got a voucher. Since then, we went ahead and got married elsewhere on our original planned date and got pregnant immediately. We had a high risk pregnancy with a couple of issues and it was not safe to travel. Now, we have a new born and were going to do our best to use our vouchers (which have to be used in two months) and the airline no longer offers even a remotely close flight option. In addition, there are very limited flights to choose from. We have reached out several times because the circumstances warrant a consideration of a refund. As I mentioned aside from the personal problems there were/are other factors (COVID and flight options) beyond our control that caused problems traveling to ****** and they will not stray from there policy even slightly. Buyer beware!

      On 2/23/2020, my wife and I booked two round trip tickets from ******** to ******-**** for 4/12/20 and returning 4/15/2020 as part of a Hawaiian Airlines / Hawaiian Holidays package. In March 2020, the hotel part of the package notified us that they were no longer accepting check-ins. We cancelled the airline tickets on 03/13/2020 and Hawaiian Airlines gave us a travel credit of $227.72.On 8/13/2022, we paid an extra $100.28 on top of the travel credit to buy two "refundable" tickets for a round trip 9/14/22 flight from ******** to ******-****. Due to time constraints we had to cancel that reservation. Hawaiian Airlines now says that we have two $164 travel credits apiece.Now Hawaiian Airlines will not reimburse us the $100.28 that we paid extra for "refundable" tickets. Nor will they allow one of us to "transfer" one of the $164 ravel credits to one spouse..So I warn anyone not to use Hawaiian Airlines.

      Luggage destroyed on return flight. Unwilling to compensate for loss. I was traveling with my Son and his family. We arrived at 11:00pm to ******* **. by the time the luggage came out and retrieved it was closer to 12:00 am. According to Hawaiian Airlines I was suppose to file a claim within four hours of landing. Really ?? traveling with an infant and a 4 year old. This policy is unrealistic and ridiculous. No one from the Airlines seems to care. I will never fly Hawaiian Airline anywhere. Along with forewarning others about their poor policy's. *************

      We booked several flights with Hawaiian airlines 8 months ago which we had hotels attached to these dates which where already paid for along with rental car reservations and excursions which I cant be reimbursed for and some insurance policies have expired as well recently. I had paid for travel insurance on the flights for two passengers, Hawaiian airlines sent an email saying flights where cancelled, so I called them and they said one flight was suspended and the other flights are cancelled, there where no alternatives offered. This was 2 months before our honeymoon vacation which was scheduled for September.And they refused to give us our money back, until the fourth time contacting them in which they agreed to give us our money back only if we paid a 400$ processing fee. We had already lost several hundred dollars because of their unacceptable business practices and then an additional 400$ that was described as a mandatory fee in order to have the request of refund accepted .

      On 6/8/;2022 I was traveling to *** from *** by Hawaiian Air Lines. My bag was opened upon arriving in ********, **. Items missing from doubled zipped suitcase was my electric toothbrush and my hearing aids. I have yet to speak to a live person after notifying Hawaiian Air Lines of my claim. They provide you with a phone number which I have called numerous times only to be left on hold for hours. No one has yet to answer their phone number. They sent me an email indicating they are not accepting any responsibility for my lost items even though they had complete custody, care, and control of my luggage until I picked it up off their luggage conveyor belt and was told by other passengers it was unzipped. I find this practice sloppy and very unprofessional on all levels.
