January 19, 2023, I purchased an Equator washer and dryer set from Connections Appliances based in *******, *****. May 30, 2024 the washer began to shake horribly and make grinding noises during the spin cycle. I contacted the manufacturer but was told the 1-year warranty had expired. Nevertheless, they referred me to Galaxy TV and Appliances in ********, ****** an authorized Equator repair service -- for inspection and diagnosis. Fortunately, I also had received a 5-year warranty from the vendor. Galaxy representatives conducted a house call on June 14, 2024. Upon inspection, they determined two bolts anchoring the ballast weight to the drum had become stripped leading to its imbalance during the spin cycle and was the source of the problem. I paid Galaxy $146.90 for the house call; they only accepted cash; I have a receipt. I requested and was promised a written report of their findings. Galaxy TV and Appliances also volunteered to provide estimates for repair and replacement. Two weeks ago, I received a call from ********, representing Galaxy, to advise me they were preparing estimates but awaited shipping costs. Today, at approximately 03:00PM MT, July 2, 2024, not having heard from Galaxy, I called them. ******** answered and asked me to text her my name and address to send the report. I did so, once again explaining my need for the report. Five hours later, a very rude, cranky older man called me back. He insisted that their verbal description during the house call of the outcome of the inspection was adequate. I repeatedly explained why it isnt, that I had been promised a written report, and the warranty company requires it before proceeding with my claim. This man become increasingly belligerent and argumentative, told me I had to pay for an estimate. I repeated that I wasnt seeking an estimate, simply the written report of their findings promised to me upon inspection during the house call. He hung up on me and refuses to respond to further inquiries.

    Case ID: ********
In response to your letter dated, Saturday July 13, 2024:
           My company, Galaxy T.V. & Appliances, did a House call for a *************************** of *************************. 3200, *************** 96815.
This House call was conducted on June 14,2024. My assistant and I went to this House call to conduct an Assessment and Troubleshooting on a
    Washing machine.
My assistant and I spent over two hours troubleshooting the washing machine. We also spent thirty minutes trying to find an available parking stall.
We finished the Assessment and Troubleshooting. The fee was $ ******. We issued a Receipt for our House call fee. Receipt # ****-17.
We even helped the customer by setting -up and adjusting his washing machine.
Not at any time did my company promise a written assessment of the House call.
Our receipt was issued for a House call fee only.
This was clearly explained to *************************** when we arrived at his apartment.
In my opinion this case is closed.
