I called Galaxy tv and appliance repair and we discussed my problem I had with my stereo amplifier. He said he would look at it for an 89 dollar charge. I went to the address on his web site. A dilapidated house on *****************, 30 miles from my home. I should have followed my instincts and left but I called **** the technician for Galaxy and he told me he instructed to come to his business on Keeamoku. He did not, but having hopes that he could get my amp repaired I didn't argue and was told to wait he would come to his residence. He arrived and we filled out paper work and he insisted on the tax for the initial charge which I paid and he never mentioned. A couple of days later he calls and asks for the tuner and input cable for the stereo, which I would think a 65 year veteran tech would have. So I drive all the way back down to his house and give him the tuner and cables. A week later he calls and says it will be ******* to fix. So I told him it was out of my budget, if he could write the problems down for me, maybe I could have someone else look at it. When I went to pick up my amp and tuner, he babbled on without and clear indication to what was wrong with my amp and I had a suspicion that he might have tinkered with my tuner which was perfectly okay. When I asked him if he touched the tuner and if it was okay he said he wasn't sure. He never wrote down any specifics on what was wrong with my stereo amplifier and I didn't even think he looked at. He insisted I show him our original receipt and didn't add any thing else to indicate what was wrong with the amp. I think he's a big fraud and I would never trust a person like that ever. Sincerely Good riddance
