  A lot purchased at auction was not delivered and to date has not been delivered nor has a refund been offered.An auction was held on line only and on September ******* I picked up my purchased items.or so I thought. After both **** *******, the owner, and his assistant told me all my purchased items were delivered to the pick up area I l0aded them and drove the 2 1/2 hours home. Which is when I looked closer at the invoice and discovered that one lot was not there. I tried to call and received no response so I emailed. **** responded and admitted his error and stated his desire to get the items to me. It is now October 17 and no further communication has come from this company.I am left with the conclusion that this is less than a creditable company.I will not do business with this company again and I find this type of business has totally lost their way and lacks the ************ that as a community we try to project.

  Customer did drive 2.5 hours to pick up items won. We placed all auction winnings out for him to pick up. He forgot the used shovel and two boots. 

  He sent this email: I picked up the items and noticed this invoice is different than the one I paid
  This is 14 items
  The one I paid is 13 items
  The boots and shovel are missing ???
  
  Care to clarify?

  I replied: We have the boots and shovel here. I was the one that pulled your invoice items from inside the house and the garage so this is 100% my fault. I clearly overlooked them. I am very sorry. I have them at our warehouse in Kealakekua. Please call when you want to pick them up. We are quite busy and not in the warehouse every day, however if you call and let us know when you are coming I will make sure we are available for you to pick them up. Please call us at 808-743-8977
  Due to the estate on Oahu my ability to check email is somewhat limited. Please call for the best response.

  I took responsibility due to the fact that the initial email was quite tearse and I just wanted to provide the best customer service possible. No sweat off my back however it is his responsibility to pick up what he purchased. That being said, we clearly indicated we have them and he can pick them up. 

  He replied: 
  Monday Oct 7
  I will be available to receive item #323g from the Mc Coy Captain Cook Sale.
  Please provide address and time Monday for my second attempt to pick up this item.

  We never heard from him and we clearly indicated we would busy and a phone call is best. His complaint says his items have never been delivered however we NEVER offered. 

  Just a difficult individual. We did our best and the items are still here for pick up. We will post this reply to his Yelp complaint also.

  I see now why this business is not accredited.I have owned and managed several businesses over my 50 plus years of professional work.After finally picking up the items and now seeing the operation front and back ends, I better understand the ineptness this operation lies at the feet of its owner manager.He has little to no compaction for his customer, laced with an ease of stating untruths as witnessed here in this complaint. He has stated to me in writing that he does not want me as a customer. I shall grant him his wish. There are many honest, trustworthy, good business people, this person is not one of them.I consider this matter closed and I appreciate BBB for providing this avenue for communication.
