      Took the car home, did paperwork, returned the vehicle wasnt financed, so I was expecting my down payment back, they refuse to give it but offer a cheaper car. I just want my money back.

      Hi names ******* on July 12th 2023 we put a down payment of ****$ we were told by the sales men "Liloa" that we needed to come up with another ****$ in 40 days from date and so we did ! We put down 2000$ for a ******* Elantra 2013 miles was ****** so he wrote but it was ****** . We told him to fix it on paper he said it didn't matter We came before the 40 days was up and drop another **** we also had to pay monthly payment of 366$ we was told we will be paying the bank cause ***** (my husband) had a job in the beginning of Aug ***** lost his Job I started working I make ***** an hour and had gave ***** the paystubs he then said we were going to in-house deals I told him we can't go back to the bank? He said no. So drop the price to $360 . The car is sold @8K and when looking through paper it had a different number of 12K I told him (liloa) why is it 12K he said warranty and taxes it's September and the tags are back since 07/23 got pulled over for the tags being expired! The ending of August we told them there was a slip in transmission it won't pass 40MpH WITHOUT jerking it before leaving the lot we told them it felt rough and again was told nothing was wrong,the key won't start car up so we have to wait 5/10 minutes till it' read by car This past week September 13 2023 we went to go tell them when will mechanic look at it saler and his sister who's takes information said they don't know , so we told them if we can leave the car and get a rental for now kindly because we have kids who rides in car won't be safe! We were told no they don't do that.so we said can we trade in? ***** didn't hesitate but asked us to drop down more money 2k to be exact in order to get a other car . we had already dropped 2360$ down 2000$ down-payment and 360$ August monthly pay . When asked to get a refund we were told no it won't happen , it's either we turn car back in and get left with nothing or deal with the damages and pay out of pocket PLUS MONTHLY PAYMENTS .
