This company is a SCAM, all I needed was a simple, cheap thermostat for my furnace, **** the technician came out and LIED to me stating I needed additional wiring to and from my AC/ furnace to Re- install my new thermostat, he also pushed a one year maintenance plan onto me stating I would get a 20 percent discount on all services for one year/ I paid him $875 only to learn later that the wiring was a LIE , NO wiring was installed when I received my itemized bill- which I had to ask several times for (now I know why) **** had a fee for $235 that he repaired my AC, A TOTAL FRINKN LIE AGAIN **** didnt fix ANYTHING!! My AC / furnace were in excellent conditionI just needed a basic simple thermostat installed- I never saw a 20 percent OFF on ANYTHING! !! Many many terrible terrible reviews on YELP- dont go by the ones on his personally site- when I confronted them several days ago about this fraud and deception I then saw several NEW positive reviews AGAIN from his personal plumbing and heating site THEY WERE DEFINITELY STAGED They are DESPERATE now- BEGGING for new customers, the word is getting out about their fraud and deception they LIE constantly, they tell you one thing then fudge on the itemized bill FRAUD!!!! Several of my reviews were taken down by Dalton Plumbing and heating, they pick and choose the reviews on their personal sitethey wont return emails from unsatisfied customers, read the reviews from **** then you will see what I meanTomorrow I go down to the police department to file theft charges against **** and Dalton s Plumbing and Heating I also have contacted my Attorney/The LIES from this company just will NOT stop, they are MONEY HUNGRY SCAMMERS/ read all the reviews, mainly from YELP STAY AWAY until we can get them SHUT Down!!!!Dalton Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electric & Fireplaces

This included rewiring and adjusting the system for compatibility with the new non-programmable thermostat, as well as making sure the furnace was operating correctly afterward.

I can not express enough how ***** this company is. They will sign you up for their membership without telling you, you are stuck in it for a whole year EVEN if you dont sign a contract. I told them they will hear from my attorney and they gladly canceled it on the spot. That shows enough. Their services are INSANELY overpriced compared to other local plumbers. $500 to replace a plastic P trap on my sink? A $3 part? 10 minutes? Come on now(and that was with my membership that includes 20% off). They have a lot of young plumbers that do not know what they are doing. 1 starI won't be recommending this company to any of my family or friends. Although they have great customer service, their pricing is exorbitant and far exceeds the local industry standard. They justify their charges based on their expertise, which means projects are billed according to pre-programmed rates in their software, rather than actual time and materials used.For context, my sister used them for an AC repair. She was charged $87 for the diagnostic, which was upfront and reasonable. However, the repair costs were outrageous. She was billed an additional $500 for a part that, based on my research, cost them only $20. While I understand there needs to be a markup, this level is simply unacceptable. On top of that, she was charged an additional $300 for diagnostics, bringing the total to an unreasonable amount.Overall, their flat fee structure, disconnected from actual time and materials, is unfair and misleading. 1 starFailed to disclose before they sent an employee to my house that in top of $87 dollars to just come to my house that I would also have to pay $299 just for him to look at the heater not fix nothing just look at it. If I would have been told prior to the appointment I wouldnt have agreed. And I am a bad push over and he was there I felt to bad to say no not fully understanding that I wasnt going to get a fixed product. No itemized receipt was given to me because it was a garage heater not a house heater and the company doesnt have one for that purpose, seems like failure in their end of not having a current form for all services they offer. 1 starCharged me over $600 to do a work only half an hour of work. They wouldn't give me an itemized invoice. I have another plumbing issue that I had done, which they worked over an hour, used more parts, only $200. Unfortunately, the owner retired and the company has closed. Otherwise I would've used them. We have been with Daltons for many years. They have replaced the furnace and AC that came with our manufactured home. Every thing has been more than satisfactory. Technicians are always friendly and knowledgeable. Wouldn't have anyone else handle our heating , AC, plumbing and electric. I am a member of Dalton’s program which provides four inspections a year. I have also called them for repair work and fixture installation between inspections.
