Installed new fence on both sides of my yard. The project was rough to say the least to start with then they finally brought someone over who knew wat they were doing and it went fairly smooth on the first side. Then they started to install on the second side and they bought 10 foot post and the contract said they would go at least 36 inches deep, I now have at least three post that are only 2 feet to maybe 2.5 feet deep in ground. Then they decided to add extentions to the bottom of pickets instead of getting 8 foot pickets and cutting them down. I installed real nice wood caps on post on first side to help cover terribly uneven posts. After the completion of other side they cut the posts off even worse and now I cant put the same caps on because of the terribly uneven cutting of the posts I'm not sure wat to do Im going to need to build the posts up to be able to cap them. I have all this documented and photographs of everything that was done. Not quality work in my opinion, this whole time they just fell short on quality and attention to detail. 1 starIf there was a option for negative stars that would most definitely be my option. This company has 100% ruined our belief in quality customer service. This review would never have nearly enough space for all the horrible things that happened during our time spent dealing with this company. I can only hope nobody has to go thru what my home and family has had to go thru with this HORRIBLE experience. I strongly recommend to NEVER reach out or even think about having these people come to your home. This all could have been avoided if we knew ahead of time that this company has NO clue what they are doing unless it involves taking care of a roof. And even that is in question at this point. 5 starsI was referred to Quint Cities by a family friend. The Project Management team I worked with was extremely helpful with all the questions I had, prior to the start of work. I have to admit, I tend to be cautious when it comes to working with contractors. However, the thorough communication followed by the excellent execution restores a little bit of my trust in companies. I'd highly recommend going with Quint Cities for your roofing/siding and am hearing (from trusted circles) that their other work is just as great.Review fromCatherine L

5 starsI called Jon a little more than a year ago in regard to my sad sad gutter and soffit situation. He came out, inspected the area of concern, talked about what it would take to make thing right, and gave me a quote. I told him that I would be in touch.
Fast forward to about a month ago, I called him and asked if that quote was still good, and he said he would honor it. His crew came out and took care of everything. Before, my gutters were just a mess and every time it rained it was a mess. With everything fixed, there's no more rain running down the side of the house and no more puddling, which in heavy rainfall meant basement flooding. When it came time to pay the bill, that was easy too. The whole process was easy.

I had a horrible experience with this company. The gable overhangs on my roof needed to be rebuilt, and then my insurance company was going to pay for putting a new roof on due to storm damage. They showed up late in the afternoon and stripped the entire roof before dark. The workers came down and showed me pictures they had taken of my overhangs. They were rotten and needed to be rebuilt to current code. I informed my project manager, he assured me it would be taken care or. Crew came back the next morning and started putting new shingles on. Mid-morning they were starting on "repairing" the overhang, which consisted of cobbling in some 2 by 4's. I called the DeWitt Building Inspector, he said that the existing structure needed to be torn off and rebuilt, to tie the overhang structure into the roof framing. They did not do that. They proceeded to finish shingling the roof. I was upset, but the project manager told me there was rain in the forecast for the next day, and they had to shingle it so I didn't have water damage. Later that day, a worker stepped through the ceiling, insulation was pouring in. I tried to cover the hole and fell onto the bathtub. Dislocated my shoulder, badly bruised ribs and a tibial plateau fracture in my knee. When I finally was well enough to look at the work, I could see that the three tab shingles were not aligned straight, cuts were jagged, and cuts were not straight in the valleys, there were issues with the boot for my electrical service not being sealed down, and places where flashing was missing. Totally unacceptable, and they hadn't finished repairing the siding that was part of the insurance claim and couldn't do that until the overhangs were repaired. They told my insurance the work was completed. It wasn't. They then told me they were going to come back at a later date and tear it all off do the rebuild of the overhang and re-roof again, and wanted more $ for the overhang, which they said in the beginning was included.Quint Cities Restoration

You and your company were hired by me to repair my overhangs to meet Building Codes. I told you and your project manager several times that the overhang repairs needed to be done BEFORE the new shingles could be put on. You and your project manager both assured me that the repairs to the overhangs would be done to code, as stated in the contract. And the City Building Inspector said that the current structure needed to be torn off and replaced with new framing to meet code. You and your company did not do that, but proceeded to put new shingles on the roof without repairing the overhangs. I had an independent roofing inspector come out and there were several deficiencies. You lied to me, you didn't do the work that I hired you to do, and the work you did was totally unacceptable. You lied to me.. You broke promises. You told my insurance company that the insurance portion of the work was completed, when it WAS NOT and is STILL NOT completed. You took my money and did nothing for me but cause more problems. You and your company did not do the job I hired you to do, and you expect to be paid in full? My roof is worse now than before you did any work on it. The very least you could do is give me my money back, restore me financially to where I can hire someone else to start over and fix my overhangs and re-do the roof correctly. What you have done is totally unethical on your part. You claim to be a reputable business operator. You are not. I have evidence. I documented everything. Every text, every voicemail, picture before, in progress and after, all of it....
