      They suck period. Can't withdraw your own money.. Lol. They do this to make sure the assets under management can only grow, so they can get greater commissions on your own money. Dum them if you can.

      Worst company to have your 401K in. HORRIFIC customer services, TERRIBLE policies that do not fit the needs of the customers. This has been one of the worst experiences ever. When you really need to access your funds, they make you jump through hoop after hoop after hoop. I'm starting to wonder if they really even have our money at this point. I will be researching any employers in the future and if they use this company I will not work for them. I cringe at the thought of giving this company a 1 star rating. They've earned 0 stars!!!....I would assign a negative rating if it were allowed.

      They are such a horrible company. If it is your choice DO NOT choose them for anything for your retirement funds. I did not have a choice in the matter my employer recently decided to change to them and I have had nothing but problems with them.

      Worse company for 401k. The money that I spent years working with sacrifice to earn, I put in the hands of this company, placing all my trust in them for more than 10 years, but the day I need to take some of my money because I need it, they answer me that money is not mine unless I am over 65 years old. Please keep your money away from this company.

      Worst company ever ! They did me dirty in 2009. And by the comments I'm reading they are still at it. I had there long term disability insurance threw my job . I got hurt and they denied my claim ,but yet I passed all the requirements for social security disability. In my opinion this company is a scam !

      this Company have some integrity...and be God fearing...

      I was thinking of using this company but after reading all these reviews I feel sad and totally Thank GOD for people who took their time to share their experiences.

      Principal Dental Network is the worst!!!
      No legitimate email addresses or phone numbers to contact anyone with any authority.
      Their provider lists are outdated and incorrect.
      I can not even give them one star.
      If any agent offers anything related to this company, change agents. You will pay you premium and get nothing for it.

      When is the BBB going to do something about this company. It's all bad reviews with bad experiences and mine is no different. I have a disability claim through this company. I got them everything they asked for. Toward the end of my short term claim, they demanded detailed notes from my psychiatrist which had nothing to do with why I wasn't able to work. My psychiatrist informed me that they cannot demand his notes, from other doctors they can but not from him. I looked up the law and found the same thing. I fought back and forth and managed to get notes from another doctor over. Right around the same time they were illegally demanding information, I was due to be released to return to work full time. Due to the sudden and extreme stress level they had me at over these notes that I was desperate trying to obtain for them, my physical health had a set back. This made the dr say that I needed to wait to return to work. Because I now couldn't return, the claim went to long term disability. They once again attempted to illegally demand those same notes again (once again, not the reason I'm out of work). I filed a formal complaint this time. They did away with the notes and decided to do a pre existing investigation to see if I was treated years ago, before working for my current company. They found that I had not been treated and had no prescriptions or records indicating that I was. I was told that my claim was approved. The next day my hr asked me about it and my response was that I'd call them again because they said they updated my hr on the approval. I called back and was informed it's now under a 2nd review and was assured it had nothing to do with the pre existing investigation. The very same night, I get an email from my therapist, just a regular every day therapist that I chose to see but don't have to. That therapist informs me that principle now wants info from her. Didn't I just get told they were done investigating? I'm just trying to get back to my life

      Worst customer service and policies. They transfered a balance into an IRA account without prior knowledge, I have not been able to access the account for over 18 months. Every time I have called I have been placed on hold for hours and when the call back selection was made never have received any of the calls back

      Terrible company I would not trust them for anything I've been trying to get a disbursement out of them and all I keep getting out of them is lies lies and More lies I would suggest not using these people for any kind of profit sharing or 401k or any other program that they offer.
