We have in business with the company for about 2 years and have spent over 9000 dollars just for us to continue having problems. We paid to come in and get rid bats and bat bugs from our home starting October of 2023 and in June of 2025 we are still finding bugs. I have 2 small children and these conditions are completely unacceptable and I want this resolved ASAP.

I emailed Springer Pest Control requesting to cancel my account as it no longer fits in to my budget. I have had no issues with their services and have been a customer for about 5 years. I received a reply from an ***** at Springer. She offered me a lower price in an effort to keep my account active with them, which I suspected would happen. She also informed me I have been overpaying for the work they have done at my property. She stated this via email, so I can furnish proof of this interaction. I replied stating I would still like to cancel my account as it still wont fit in to my budget and I would like to investigate how much I have been overcharged over the last 5 years. I think an appropriate resolution is to be reimbursed the money I have been overcharged for services I did not receive, per Emilys information.

Spoke to Maddison and the situation should be resolved.

Researched her account and her price per service was in line with our normal pricing structure. She signed up in October 2020 for $120 per service. In May 2022, we had to do a 10% price increase which brought it up to $132 per service. In May of 2024, we did an 8% price increase which then moved it up to $143 per service. Our price increases were done across the board for all residential pest control customers due to inflation and our rising costs.

They keep sending me mail saying I owe them money. Idk if the previous owners of my home had services for pest control through them but I never signed up or okayed any services with them. I have previously called them to stop sending me these in the mail. Someone had told me about reporting them to the BBB. Over the summer they came on my property and placed things. I do have a dog so was really upset and unaware of what might be in these pest control devices.

Spoke kaitlynn about the termite warranty that was the invoice that was being sent out to her and she said she does not want it and that she never signed up for it. I told her that the previous homeowners might've signed up and it should have been disclosed at the closing when buying the house. she said she didn't want it and to cancel the account. I explained to her that canceling the account will wave the termite warranty and if sighting of termites appear then they will have to go through the whole process again and get resigned up. she said that is fine and that she wants to go ahead and cancel.

Greetings,I have been attempting to cancel my service with Springer Pest Control for several months with no success. Springer Pest Control has stopped providing services, but I am still receiving bills in the ******* attempts to cancel my services with them are as follows:- 1st via phone call in June - 2nd via letter with a check for what I assumed would be my final bill in July - 3rd via phone call on Friday, September 13th around 2:10p with "Caitlyn".Yet, I have just received a bill in the mail for October. It is clear they are simply ignoring my request. All I would like is for Springer Pest Control to acknowledge my account is closed, a cease sending me bills (for services not rendered, I might add).Thank you!

I spoke with ******** ******, she mentioned that she has been receiving invoices. I explained to her that sometimes our system doesn't untrigger the invoice emailing system and that we wont know if its still sending invoices until they give us a call and we can try to untrigger it again after canceling  the account. I got that taken care of for her and let her know that if she has any questions or if she keeps getting invoices to let us know so we can check on it again.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

This is assuming I do not receive another invoice in November. Despite the response, Springer can be difficult to get in touch with as they rarely answer the phone and in the past have not returned my calls when I leave a message. Ergo, I felt the need to file a complaint with the BBB.

    I appreciate your assistance!

    Sincerely,
    ******** ******

In 2022, I hired Springer to complete 2 years of termite monitoring as there was a history of termite issues in the home I had just purchased. When I signed up for the service I was told that it would be up to me to renew my service each year and there was no long term commitment. I chose not to continue monitoring as the traps found nothing as expected. However, I am still receiving a deceptive invoice every month. I have spoken to **************** admin twice about this and I have no outstanding balance. I receive a statement every month that acts like I need to pay for the sentricon system and my bill is overdue. This is a deceptive business practice and I think they should discontinue this practice of invoicing for services not yet rendered, especially when it has been explicitly stated by the customer that they dont want any further ********************.

I spoke with *** and provided a detailed explanation of how our system operates. I clarified that, in certain instances, when we untrigger a particular setting, it may not save on the first attempt and could require a second try. I assured her that if she receives another invoice, she should reach out to our office, and we will be happy to assist her further. Invoice has been disregarded.

I think it is worth noting that I had already spoken with the business twice about discontinuing these "invoices" and they said they had done all that they could. I was told today that if I receive another invoice I should call them again next month. I still think this is an unethical business practice but I have received the resolution that I expected.

    Sincerely,

On July 18, 2023 I contacted Springer in regards to a wasp problem I was having. Their rep stopped over and explained the charges. He told me it was $300 for the initial service plus the 30-day followup & that I could call them as many times as needed within that 30 days if the wasp problem was not resolved. I had a $50 promo coupon that was used against the $300 He stated that the charges would be $50 a month if I continued the services. I verified with him no less than 3x's as to the statement that the 30-day was included with the initial fee and he confirmed this. I had to call Springer a couple of times within the first 30-days & then Springer came around the 30th day for the final initial visit. He did not do the inside of the house that day as I had painters inside. The wasp problem was minimized but not resolved. This was Aug 29th. I later received a text that they would not be performing additional services as I had not paid the quarterly fee of $150 + tax. It was my intention not to pay the quarterly or continue with the services as they did not resolve the wasp problem within the 30 days. However, they are now harassing me for that payment even though no services were performed after August 29th. They are trying to say the 30-day follow-up was a part of the quarter which, as above, I was told, more than once, was part of the initial fee. My request is that they stop harassing me for something I don't owe. I am very disappointed that I have contacted them for the service to begin with since the wasps were still a big issue with me. On December 27th I called the business office personnel to explain why I didn't owe any. She was very rude and wouldn't pay attention to anything I was saying so I hung up and decided it was time they were reported the the BBB. I have received additional billing since that day and consider this an unwarranted harassment. The resolve to this would be for Springer to stop this harassment as I don't owe anything.

Although I believe that we fulfilled the terms of our contract, I do understand that there may have been a miscommunication in regards to the billing, and the efficacy of the original treatment and the expectations that were originally set.  I will agree to forfeit any remaining monies owed and cancel any ongoing pest maintenance agreement. As we make note of this within our system, there may still be an auto-generated invoice at some point in the near future, please disregard that/any invoice and consider this matter closed with Springer Professional Home Services.  I do apologize for any miscommunication on our part and appreciate the opportunity you provided us to remedy your issue.

We have a clover mite infestation in our home that started a year ago. We hired Springer in November 2022 and were told by the sales guy that did the inspection that they could handle it. A year later we have not seen any improvements and the clover mites are still as bad as they were when Springer started. The bugs are coming in every single door and window of our house and there are thousands of them. We have not seen ANY improvement at all in the year that Springer has been spraying and coming to our house. The only time we have seen relief is in the winter and summer when the mites go inactive as they are a seasonal pest. This fact is very easy to find from many entomology extensions and other pest companies online, I can provide many links to sources if necessary. However, the branch manager at Springer, *******************, attempted to lie to me and tell me they are not seasonal/do not go dormant so therefore they did "handle" them this summer, which is just blatantly untrue and doesn't make any sense because they are back now for the fall just as heavy. I have also spoke to the entomologist on staff in the course of the last year and when I asked him how much he knew about clover mites he responded "Oh I don't know, as much as anyone I guess." Both men were extremely rude and condescending while clearly having very minimal knowledge on how to actually handle clover mites or successfully get the number at our home to decrease in the slightest. ******************* only refunded us for our most recent payment of $160 and we feel we are owed a complete refund as we've been paying them for a year and seen zero improvements in the infestation. Also, the chemicals they sprayed discolored the siding on our house, as well as our baseboards, window ledges and carpet inside. I have included a photo of the yellow spots left on our window *****, as well as photos of glue traps from our windows that have only been sitting out for a week and show the high number of mites still coming in.

I am a little hesitant to mark this resolved until we have the refund check in hand given our experience with Springer's dishonesty, but I will just file another complaint if we do not receive the refund check.
