Springer had been providing pest control service for our house. We've continued to be billed for service when it was not provided. I sent a request through their website and then a letter on April 18 communicating to cancel our service and that we would not be paying for service billed for the date April 5. Reason: when I was contacted on April 4 about service being scheduled for morning of April 5, I replied that I was not available and requested that it be moved to April 12 or a future Friday. Service did not happen on April 5 and I never received a response. Therefore, we should not have been billed for service on that date. In May, got another statement indicating balance due for April 5 so I sent another letter re-communicating service was not provided on April 5 so we should not have been billed for service and that we aren't paying for service not provided. A voicemail was left on April 24 claiming a reply to my text didn’t get sent as it was left in a draft. In addition, claiming service did happen on April 5 and that a manager was along and doing a ride along that day. That is NOT true - I was home that day sitting in my dining room working and could see both my driveway/front yard/street as well as backyard. I saw no one in our yard, nor a truck parked in our driveway or on street. In addition, if they had been there our two dogs would have barked incessantly and that did not happen; thus, they were not at our house and did not provide service on that day. I've continued to communicate we want our service canceled. In addition, that we are not paying for service when it was not provided. But they continue to send us a monthly statement wanting payment. In addition, we just a survey request from them indicating they value our relationship and referred to us as a valued customer - so doesn't appear they've canceled our account either. While they've claimed to have provided service that day - it did NOT happen - I was home and THEY DID NOT SHOW UP.

Thanks for the opportunity to respond.  First, I apologize for any miscommunication on our part, operations manager Mark ******* has called and emailed to no response, and your technician has also texted and called and received no response.  We did not provide service on the 5th of April as you have stated, you did indeed ask for it to be rescheduled on a following Friday and we did so and completed the work on Friday the 19th, this is the bill that you have been receiving. We have tried to contact you to make amends and to clear up any confusion, and have not received any response.  Please accept this as our response that your account is canceled and that you will be credited with a free service on April 19th.

NO stars. There were 3 times someone from Springer came to my house. The first employee to come to my house was a salesmen. After the inspection we asked him about cleaning out a mouse nest under our sink. The man said someone else would come out at another time and clean out the nest. The second time someone came out, was when our yard was treated for ants. He did not clean out the mouse nest, or do anything involving rodents at all to my knowledge. The third employee to come to my house, removed a dead mouse that we had found in our furnace air filter. Unfortunately, he did not dispose of it properly. He threw it in my yard, leaving it there for all kinds of different animals to smell. I had to remove it from the yard myself. I believe he is also the man who informed me Springer did not, in fact, remove rodent nests. Springer claims they have come to my house and sprayed for bugs, which I have no knowledge about. I never saw anyone from that company again. The ant situation never seemed to go away, we bought multiple ant bait stations, bug sprays, gels, and water sprays. Along with mint sprays, traps, and other rodent repellents each. Since no one removed the nest, we constantly worry about having a rodent infestation. My son tried to remove it, but got sick halfway through. Living with rodents was never something I thought I would have to worry about. Now, almost three years later, ** having to worry about being put in a collection agency over this. I should not have to pay for services that I cant verify. I cant say Springer didnt showed up the times they are claiming. However, if they truly did, then I suggest they upgrade their company sprays and policies. Employees should not just walk onto a customers property without letting them know or knocking on the door. Thats incredibly unsafe and unprofessional. I should not have to pay Springer for services I was not present for, or services with unseen results.

This customer entered into an agreement that is for standard every other month pest control, exterior only, interior upon request with unlimited reservice, also upon request, at no additional charge.  The initial fee was $200 ($214.00 w/tax completed on 8/20/21 that was paid) and subsequent every other month services at $120 ($128.40 w/tax) each, that were completed on 9/14/21 (paid), 11/26/21 (unpaid), 1/21/22 (unpaid), and 3/22/22 (unpaid). A service ticket for each of the unpaid services was sent to the customer following service completion, and all subsequent past due notices went unresponded to resulting in the cancelation of services for non-payment. On or about September of 2021, the CC that the customer provided on file was declined and notice was sent to the customer advising as such, and we have no record of attempts that were made with our office to rectify this CC discrepancy, despite multiple attempts by invoices/statements/notices.  We continued to service in good faith until the cancelation for non-payment, resulting in the 3 unpaid services, totaling $385.20 w/tax.  Customer was sent to a collection agency, and this is the first response that our office has received. This amount is due for services rendered and attempts to rectify this now should be made with American Profit Recovery Services at **************.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSCRUPULOUS! When we found a sick, dying bat in our home. I called Springer to investigate and DJ was sent out right away. DJ crawled only halfway up a ladder to look in our attic and immediately started coughing telling me that there was such a strong ammonia smell from bat urine that he could barely breathe and that there were a lot of bats hissing at him. He quickly came down and outlined a plan that would eliminate the many bats that are there - the plan would include putting one way cones around the roof, removing all insulation, sanitizing and re-insulating our whole attic to the tune of $13,600. Later that week Springer visited my friend's house for a bat inspection and told her the same story - this time with a price tag of $20K.As I always do, I sought a second opinion and the difference was astonishing. This professional crawled through my whole attic and showed me photos. We DO NOT have a huge bat problem. From the looks of the **** we have one or two that *** be getting in. He also identified the entry point on the outside of the house and showed me.The quote to eliminate and seal the roof: $2800.I am disgusted by Springer's lack of professionalism and service. They are thieves seeking to prey upon the fears of homeowners with stories of bat bugs creeping into the house just like bed bugs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! SEEK A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER THAT DOES THEIR HOMEWORK, SHOWS YOU PHOTOS AND DOES NOT USE SCARE TACTICS.

The last time we attempted to get service for our contacted date, the technician by Springer did not render any service at our home. My fiancé has attempted to call them and settle this matter. They are hellbent on having us pay for a service not rendered.
