I received a bill in the mail from Rotech for almost $5,000. When I called Rotech they said that I owed the money because I didn't pass the doctor qualification ******** needed in order for me to continue receiving their oxygen products. Rotech only reached out to me on two separate occasions, once on 9/21/2023 and once on 12/4/2023 to try and pick up their equipment. The only notification I got from Rotech was an email on the day of those dates listed above stating they were on their way. No other attempts to work with me to set up a time I could call off of work to be home so they could pick up the equipment. Only notifying me a couple hours before they want to pick up their equipment is unacceptable. It doesn't allow me the time to schedule off work. Fast forward to just a couple days ago, and I receive a bill stating I owe for equipment that my insurance didn't pay for. All I have in my possession are Oxygen tanks that are completely empty and an Oxygen concentrator all of which haven't been serviced in over a year. They want to charge me for equipment that hasn't been serviced and they haven't even made a valid attempt to collect their products that they're saying I owe them for. I have called Rotech twice since receiving this bill and have requested a call back both times. One call i requested someone from billing to call me and I requested that a manager call me so i could discuss this issue further. Its been over a week and I have not received a phone call from anyone. I am beyond frustrated. This is extremely taxing to my mental health which I struggle with a lot and I've been thinking about seeking legal counsel for advice on how I should proceed further. Something needs to be done about this. Thank you for your time.

On January 20th of 2023, Rotech shipped me C-Pap equipment that was only partially covered by my insurance company. Rotech had already sent me the same equipment a few months prior. Rotech uses a company called carecentrix for their billing. I knew something wasn't right with that shipment as I had just received head gear, a mask, hose, and filter recently. I did not open the packaging and waited for a bill from carecentrix. Last Saturday, I received a bill from carecentrix on behalf of Rotech for ******. I called today to speak with Rotech and their policy is that they only allow return of equipment within 3 days. Rotech claims that I signed up for a vip service on 6/14/2020. I do not recall signing this document. However, they say the document is uploaded in the system. They told me my balance was 20 dollars. However, I have a bill for ******. They refuse to allow return of the equipment or adjust my bill for equipment that I did not ask for.
