I'm moving 90 miles away... I'm dirt poor, & had very little to spend, PLUS I'm on SSI, & ONLY allowed to own cars that aren't worth very much.
I contacted Noah (the owner's son/salesman), told Him ALL of the above, & more, originally said I wanted to use credit cards to buy the car, because My mother, & I had almost no saving.
Noah said The credit card would cost an extra up to 10% to use, & the debit would cost up to 4% I believe. I told Noah I'd have to spend almost every dime We had to use a cashier's check (which is what He preferred), that I was already paying the mortgage here, AND rent at My new place, because My car broke down, that I needed to move ASAP, & I asked if We could get ANY kind of warranty, or guarantee to which He promised to ask His' dad about, but never got back to Me, & I now think He just hoped I'd forget, no I was trusting, & desperate for'a car.
So I had Him mail Me the paperwork, I signed it, & sent it back with'a check, He promised Me the guy would be delivering the car in 3 days, & that turned into excuses that He always blamed on His. driver, & that MAY all be true, but later He texts Me stuff like:" Oh it always takes 2 weeks to get a car shipped, during COVID it took 4, You're lucky!", etc. Well when I told Him multiple times I was in a hurry, You'd think He'd have been nice enough to mention that FACT?
Now that His' 3 days turned into over two weeks I'm gonna end up paying the mortgage here, +rent in the new place for ANOTHER month, which is about $450.oo extra/month, + when the car finally got here last night, it has MULTIPLE things wrong with it He failed to EVER mention: The heater core has'a pinhole leak, & blows sticky antifreeze fog onto the windshield,, there's some LOUD annoying squeak just behind the driver seat, the headliner is falling down on the driver's side, AND the windshield washer squinter doesn't work, which should make it fail safety inspections in MOST states.
