      We rented a micro fridge from this company for my daughters dorm room. The documents stated it would be delivered to the room prior to move in. We were told at the last minute that it would instead be delivered a week late to a central location on campus and the student would need to pick it up. This morning our daughter arrived to pick it up and had to wait in a long line in 100+ temps. There was only one dolly available for use to bring the fridge to her room. Complete bait and switch: ************ lies. They provide junky fridges for rent for more than the cost of a new one. Do Not Use this company!!

      I am very sorry for any misunderstanding.  Our website does let customer's know that delivery will not be delivered prior to move in but a delivery date will be set after move in.  We sent that date to the customers on August 23 and a reminder on August 30.  There was more than 1 cart available, but there was a long line of students to deliver to so many of the carts were in use.  This delivery method was chosen by the school these students attend and not by our company.  I am more than happy to discuss the situation with the customer and will be reaching out today to see what type of adjustment will work to make this right.

      Re: Order #********* on July 28, 2023 We placed an order for the MicroFridge combo rental for our son's dorm room. Upon using the microwave for the first time, at the end of August, it was found the microwave turntable doesn't work. We submitted a service request via Collegiate Concepts service request link to repair the microwave turntable. On Sept 8, 2023 I sent an email to Collegiate Concepts inquiring about the status of the service request. They responded with this message on Sept 8 at 9:01 pm CST: "I am sorry. We are shipping some units to ***** they should be there next week and our program manager will be in touch with A**** to arrange a replacement." On Sept 30, 2023 I sent another email to Collegiate Concepts because we never heard from the Program Manager as mentioned above. Their response on Oct 2, 2023 at 9:27 am CST: "I am sorry I was under the impression it had been taken care of. I have asked our program manager to please make sure it is done." On Oct 19, 2023 I sent yet another email to let them know the service request still hasn't been taken care of. I explained that we have been patiently waiting for them to address and correct the problem, and at this point would like to receive a refund of the rental price. If the microwave doesn't work properly, we will now have to purchase a microwave for the dorm room. As of Oct 23, 2023 they haven't responded.Collegiate Concepts is not adhering to their policy of repairing or replacing the microwave as stated on their website and in the rental agreement.From the Collegiate Concepts website: What happens if something is wrong with my MicroFridge?Should there be an issue with your unit, please submit a service request, call ************, or email ************************ A request for service will be entered on your order. Please allow up to a week for the project manager to be able to be back on campus. They will call or text your cell phone number, please respond to them for scheduling.

      I am sorry that this has not been taken care of promptly and we did fall short of our goal to get things repaired in a timely manner.  I am following up with our program manager to see how soon we can get that fixed.  I would also be more than happy to have a discuss a refund to make this right.
