This business continues to call and harass my business for money though we never agreed to services. My company, *********** Roasters, was billed $399. On Time Sports excessively attempts to contact me by phone and email. We never agreed to anything in writing, never approved a logo, and never agreed to our name or logo being used onto t-shirts. They continue to call and email nonstop asking for payment regardless of being told *********** Roasters is not interested and to please stop contacting me.

    Hello, ***.

You did agree to this. I see our AR *** sent you the recording of you agreeing. Your argument to her was that our verification process is not legit. However, you are saying here you never agreed to it. The recording file is too large to upload here, so I will share it with our contact at the BBB. I will send you another copy even though you acknowledged you heard it. You will be able to respond to my email and let me know which complaint is true.

It has you agreeing to the space, the artwork and the billing. That cannot be disputed, and we will continue to pursue this.

Once you pay the bill you agreed to, we will place you on our DNC list. You have already been placed there for sales purposes since you have an unpaid bill.

    Thank you,

I received an unsolicited call from On Time Sports at the business where I am employed. During the call, I made it clear that I do not have the authority to approve any agreements or financial commitments and that I needed to speak with the business owners before finalizing anything. Additionally, I did not sign or verbally agree to any contract or service during that call.Despite this, I was later sent an invoice to my personal address without my consent. When I called to clarify and cancel, I was informed that the 72-hour cancellation window had passed a policy that was never communicated to me at any point. This behavior is misleading and coercive. The company is attempting to hold me personally responsible for a service I never authorized, which I believe is unethical and unacceptable. I am involving my legal team and submitting this claim to formally document the issue and seek a proper resolution.

    *******,

We are confused why this review is being left. Your ad with our company was canceled.

In response to your review, I have attached the recording. Our manager got on the phone with you and asked if you're authorized to place the ad for the business, and you responded, "Yes." When you were asked if 15 days was enough time to pay the bill, you mentioned wanting to confirm, and our manager then told you she needed to make it clear this was a commitment.

Again, your ad has been canceled, but please review the recording to see that your recollection is incorrect.

    Thank you.

A couple months ago, I received a phone call from a man saying he was calling from the local high school. I am a new business owner in the community, so I wanted to hear if there was an opportunity to be supportive of the community. The man proceded to claim that I would be helping the high school by sponsoring their T-shirts. I said he could send me more information about it and that Id consider it. When he sent the info, I did research and found he was not calling from the high school- he was calling from a for profit company in *****, posing as a HS athletics staff person. I was extremely put off, so I did not complete the paperwork, I did not commit to anything, and I did not send my logo. I have been harassed daily by On Time Sports. Theyve found my personal information as well and reach out to me on social media, after I have emailed them multiple times asking them to stop. I never agreed to anything. And yet today, they proceed to send me an invoice for $399! An amount I would not have agreed to even if I did say yes. I dont understand having an invoice for a service I didnt approve, or ask for, or use. Can you please help me stop their harassing calls, emails and social media outreach? Thank you,*******

    Here we go.  Thank you!

    Business Response

    Date: 05/20/2025

Thank you for providing the invoice so I could locate your account.

You agreed to be on the Whitehall t-shirts on January 31st, 2025. You went through a two-step verification process with a manager. The manager confirmed you knew what you were signing up for, went over a general layout of what you would like printed and confirmed our billing terms will work for you.

You received this invoice after agreeing. As stated on the bottom, not sending us your logo and not responding does not cancel your commitment. With no response to artwork, we created an ad for you.

You first communicated wanting to cancel on March 4th, 2025. You were informed at that time that the shirts had already gone to print.

We are happy to help with a payment plan.

Please give us a call at ************.

    Complaint: 23247019

I am rejecting this response because: I do not recall 2 factor authentification, and I did not agree to any package.  The next step from the call was for you to email me the options of the sizes and corresponding amounts that went with each size of logo on the T-shirt.  When I saw that you were not who you said you were, I chose to not proceed.  As a general rule in business, typically the business doesn't provide services that weren't agreed upon, signed for, communicated in writing - I especially did not approve the name of our business being used without my permission.

Stop harassing me via phone, email and social media outreach.  I did not agree to your services, and I have nothing to pay for.

I am rejecting this response because: you did in fact do something without my agreement by printing my business' name without my logo, without my agreement to the cost and size and without my consent.   I did not agree to anything.  You also posed as a member of the athletic association of the local high school, and you're actually a for-profit business in another state. Stop harassing me.

Unfortunately, all of your claims are false.

You know that you agreed to this. We are very clear in stating that we are working with the school. You received documentation from us, showing we are On Time Sports. You gave consent to have your business featured, we did so and we have to continue to reach out.

A couple days before my leave, I spoke on the phone with an On Time Sports ("OTS") representative and told him I would circle back via email. I immediately called our local high school to confirm they work with OTS, and left a voicemail with the school. A couple days later, once our decision makers approved the sponsorship, I replied to OTS that we were interested and sent them our logo which could have easily downloaded from our website. The local high school returned my call and confirmed they had launched an in-house sponsorship program to provide monies directly to students without divvying up commissions/rates to third parties. Our decision makers preferred this direct approach. When I came back from leave yesterday, I was notified by our decision makers that they had sent the donation to the school directly. I got a call that same day from *** and I let them know that the decision makers moved forward with the school sponsorship directly and that I had just returned from leave. The response was that because we had agreed to the sponsorship via *** we were liable for payment. I replied with, "we never signed anything to hold us legally responsible for payment." I have since checked and we never even approved their ad proof because no one checked our inbox during my leave. Her response was, "our cancellation policy is in our invoice and you received it and non-response is the same as acceptance of our policy." My final answer was, "I do not understand how you can hold us liable for payment when we never signed anything to hold us legally responsible to pay ***. I am happy to get our attorney involved because this does not sound right at all." She said, "Okay." And I hung up. I fetched the last invoice email from *** and replied letting them know about the phone call and my plan to file this complaint and get our attorney involved. We are a small business trying to support our local school. ***' business tactic is predatory and a scam.

I highly recommend that schools stop utilizing this company for ad placing services. They are extremely predatory and attempt to trick potential clients multiple times during the process. The way they treat customers is like if you walked into a ****** saying I want to buy a TV today and decided not to purchase one that day, and ****** followed you around saying but you agreed to purchase a tv when you walked in the door. That is not a formal agreement. On a phone conversation, the sales *** mentioned a 72-hour cancellation policy from the point of sale (a point of sale being when money changes hands for a good or service). They emailed me an invoice and I later ***lied letting them know that I could not proceed with the ad placement at this time. They claimed that I am outside of the 72-hour cancellation policy from the agreement however the company has been unable to produce an executed agreement (because it does not exist) after I have requested the agreement multiple times. Very strange that they keep referencing an agreement that they cant send me a copy of. The other odd thing is that they said the cancellation policy would be detailed in the email. It was not. Instead it was in a link in a link in the email. Again, extremely predatory and sneaky. This is not a way to get ***eat customers. I have told the sales *** multiple times I would like to support in the future, but this experience has been so terrible that it is off the table now. The BBB complaint response from the company that is posted on this website says that their response to this request includes a process that allows for cancellation within 10 days of this agreement that they cannot produce, which I would have been well within from the initial sales pitch (a sales pitch is not an agreement; but that is what they are claiming). Sadly it seems that the 10 day cancellation policy just something they are saying on this public forum, but not something they are practicing in real life.

Beware of On Time Sports Unethical Business Practices On Time Sports engages in predatory and deceptive business practices. They reach out to local businesses under the guise of seeking sponsorships for a "good cause," but then bill business owners without proper consent. I run a small business and was contacted by this company during a busy time and, out of courtesy, took their call. They asked if I wanted my business name on a t-shirt, to which I initially declined. However, they insisted it was for a charitable cause, so I told them I would think about it. Somehow, my statement of consideration was interpreted as a commitment, and I was later charged an excessive feefor a single t-shirt. Since then, I have been relentlessly harassed by this company. Over the past year, they have bombarded me with phone calls, emails, and messages despite my repeated requests for them to stop. Their aggressive tactics demonstrate that their primary focus is making money, not helping high school students, as they claim. Countless other complaints on this platform mirror my experience, yet On Time Sports continues these unethical practices without shame. The way they conduct business is highly unprofessional, bordering on fraudulent. They took it upon themselves to make a financial decision on my behalfone that I never agreed toand now expect me to pay for it. This behavior is unacceptable and feels like extortion. The public needs to be aware of On Time Sports manipulative tactics before they take advantage of more unsuspecting business owners. I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate this company and hold them accountable for their unethical business practices.
