      I have a lot to say about Daum Construction. My home was brand new in 2022. To start the workmanship of my home is low quality, I have 7 2x4s and a 1/4 of plywood holding up a maybe 8x8 beam with hurricane ties and ***** screws. My hallway lights flicker when you plug anything in, my laundry lights flicker when you turn on the washer or the dryer. The garage finish work was done by someone who didnt care. Concrete driveway is crumbling away after a year, back concrete patio is slanted towards the house. I had to truck in 30 yards of fill dirt to obtain proper drainage. They didnt follow plans for a drywell and tried to sell me on losing 500 sq of yard to the city. Luckily they moved it, three months after moving in. No landscaping was done. I cant use my microwave during winter because they put an open vent on an outside wall. My walls and floors creek so loud theyll wake you up. The garage door wasnt set right. My gutters sloped towards the house which assisted with ice dam issues. The down spout for those gutters was dug up where I found a crushed pipe at 5 below grade. How was that supposed to drain during winter?! ******** department only fixes maybe 1/2 of claims even without coming out to check what could have caused the problem. My ac wasnt plugged in, the furnace was broken. Siding was cracked or broken but because I didnt notice it during my walk through, it wasnt covered. Fixtures are cheap (I did know this buying the house, but its the topper on the cake). They DID NOT do any winterizing or maintenance prior to my home being sold. Honestly I watched the remainder of homes being built in my neighborhood and the workmanship was questionable at best. Subcontractors they sent out to fix the warranty issues they did cover where awesome and caring. **** doesnt care and just wants a pay check.
