      I had a young lady come out to our neighborhood who said she worked for CROACH. She stated it was her families business and she was from **** and was helping her family grow the business. She mistated everything from cost to customer services. It was pouring rain when she visited and I agreed to let them come out the first time. She specifically told me I could cancel at anytime, and that cost of service would be X. Their very first visit the gentlemen showed up that afternoon, another storm was approaching as the rain began to fall. I asked that they return because the rain would wash everything away that they sprayed. He said he couldnt come back and everything would be ok. He spent 4 min at my house and it poured while he was working. I called and cancelled this service. I am still getting bills and letters. This sales tactics used are terrible, the customer service is terrible and they should not be allowed to rip off other customers.

      Thank you for reaching out about your concerns. On 5/6/2022, you were approached by our sales person, you discussed terms and signed the agreement. On 5/6/2022, as agreed, we provided your initial service to your property. On 5/6/2022 you were sent confirmation the completed service via email with attached invoice that you opened. On 6/1/2022 you sent you a standard mail invoice. On 6/3/2022 we sent you a reminder for your first quarterly service that would be preformed on 6/6/2022 that you had opened 4 times. As agreed we preformed your first quarterly service. On 6/6/2022 you were sent confirmation the completed service via email with attached invoice that you opened. We then sent you 8 additional correspondences via standard mail and email.

      You responded to us via email about your final balance with a request to cancel service on 8/4/2022 a full 90 days and two completed services after your first contact with us where you signed a service agreement, prior to this you had not attempted to reach out and resolve any dissatisfaction that you had with our service or attempt to resolve your outstanding balance.  

      You may call our office to resolve your outstanding balance and close your account or we would be happy to complete your remaining three services as agreed on 5/6/2022 after your balance is paid in full.

      One of Croach salesmen named ****** came to *********** day trying to sell their service. I repeatedly told them that I could not afford it. After a few minutes and receiving a persistent no, ****** went into my garage and told me I had a black widow in my home (which I later looked at and was not a black widow). He then advised me he could reach out to his company and ask them if I could do their service month to month. He walked away, got on the phone and returned stating they were going to allow him to do this. He asked if I could pay $150.00 upfront, and $58 mins every month thereafter. He was clear that I could cancel at any time. He asked that I sign for the services and again, I asked before signing to confirm I was not under contract. He showed me his tablet and I read the EXACT agreement we talked about. It was consistent with what he told me so I signed. Now the company is emailing me and sending me bills stating I owe $139 and a termination fee of $200. They sent me a copy of my contract today which has been COMPLETELY CHANGED but has my signature on it. I have called them three times I hopes to resolve this and pay the $59, however I was advised they are reporting me to a collections agency. I have also asked three times to speak with my original salesman and they told me they would not have him call me. From what I understand changing the contract is fraud and I will be looking into other options to pursue this.

On 8/10/2022 we spoke with you and came to the agreement that you would not be charged an early termination fee and would be responsible for payment of services rendered on 7/12/2022.We have record that on 8/10/2022 you attempted to contact us to make a final payment on your account and you called after business hours. You will be contacted by your account manager today to accept your payment and confirm that your account has been closed, in good standing without any early termination fees.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      I do not understand what I'm paying for! I have only received services twice. I agreed to pay $150.00 upfront and now I am being billed $139.00?? And according to your contract you are charging me the $139.00 for July, August and September. I have received no service in August or September. 

       

      I will not be paying you. You can do what you feel you need to do but if you look at the BBB website, it appears you all have a pattern of doing this to people. I will be disputing this with my credit agency. I have an 800 credit score and I pay my bills but when your sales man is committing fraud by having me sign one contract and changing after it is signed....that is called forgery. I will be filing a report with the ************************* here in ******** and a criminal report with the ******* ************************ You guys need to stop getting away with defrauding people for services you have not performed. And I requested two days ago that you come and pick your rodent box up from my house. This should have been picked up two months ago when I cancelled. I will be disputing your collections notice with my credit agency and I'm sure the ***** other complaints that were filed against your company will show exactly how you do business. Your salesman ****** will be documented in the police report.

      *******, on 8/12 we reached out to you again to explain the charges for services rendered. We did not charge an early termination fee to you account as agreed. After that conversation on 8/12 to come to a resolution you stated you would not pay and asked that we not contact you again. At this time your account balance of $139.00 has been turned over to NCC (Nationwide Credit & Collections). If you have any further questions regarding this outstanding balance you will need to contact NCC at **************.

      I do wish to reopen this. 

      I believe I am more than paid for the service that were rendered to my home. As you can see they are trying to charge me $139 upfront for services that were not performed on my home in August or September. I paid $150 upfront and was only asked to pay $49 dollars. To be fair, I told the man named ************** would pay for three months upfront l, which was the $150. I read the document he presented to me which stated I could cancel at ANY TIME and I would pay $49 for continued services after that. So I signed the document and he left. What I believed happened is that he changed the words in the contract on his tablet after I signed it. Now the contract they sent to me has been changed. My understanding is that is forgery and I will be contacting law enforcement to file charges on them. This is not okay and after reading your reviews, the have quite the reputation for doing this to people.
