      On Nov 29, 2024 I called to cancel my service. *** representative told me we could place the account on "vacation" mode. This made sense as we would be able to resume services in the spring. Then they billed me for December. I called and was told by multiple representatives that this would "fall off." It didn't. I called back they tried to tell me that this was for services in arrears which was totally false as the account was paid for all months service was provided. I was told a supervisor would call me back. I never received a call back. They kept billing me, calling me about the past due amount. In February a representative called me and threatened me with collections. I said bring it on and I would sue them. They finally resolved the monthly charge, but keep billing me the late fee. A late fee for an amount I do NOT owe. I want the emails, collection phone calls and bills to stop. At this point I will not return as a customer as their billing is so wrong and getting them to take ownership and correct their mistakes is too time consuming.

      We apologize for the incorrect billing. It looks like when the services were stopped the service charges got credited back but there was a late fee of $0.82 that our *** missed and did not get properly credited back to zero out the account. The error was caught before we received this complaint and already corrected to zero out the customers account.

      I am rejecting this response because:  As you can see in the attachment they are still billing me for their error.  This was not and has not been taken care of as the business stated in their response that this had been corrected prior to my complaint with the BBB.  It has now been 5 months since I cancelled my service and they continue to bill me.  They call, they text, they email and they send a bill in the mail.  They have threatened to send me to collections over their billing error.
