    My wife and I were assigned this contractor from our insurance company after we had some water damage in our home in January 2024. The contactor was quick to start demo which resulted in our downstairs area to become unusable. Drywall repairs were done after we complained enough for something to happen a few months later. Our new material we chose to have reinstalled were picked out around this same time. Contractor had little to zero communication on when the next work would happen, only when we initiated contact asking what is happening. Several months of this go by, when we threaten to complain to the BBB and potentially file a lawsuit. This prompted some response which still took another month for flooring to be installed (from a contractor we had picked out and scheduled ourselves). A few weeks later, the trim was reinstalled and painted (mid August 2024). Since this was insurance work, the rest of our house flooring was to be removed and reinstalled to match what was installed downstairs. This work has still not been completed and the contractor's only response is that they are trying to get something scheduled. It has been 3 months of "trying to get a flooring installer" scheduled.

    Contractor was to fix water leak + damages it caused. Tore out a basement room took items to his storage. Tore up kitchen floors, tore out cabinets, sink etc. in Sept. Gave contractor $ ******+ in Oct to start repairs. That was over a month ago. He hasnt been back since, he wont return calls or texts. Im 74 years old my wife is 69 and very ill. Dont know where to go from here. We are doing dishes in the bathtub, and the house is in a mess!!
