We've been reaching out to BlueDog RV for almost a year to get our concerns addressed and the lack of concern or resolve on their part is unacceptable. We purchased our 2021 Dutchmen Yukon and extended service contract thru BlueDog on 10/6/21. This RV is still under factory warranty. FURNACE REPLACEMENT: The customer service we've received from ******************* has been beyond unacceptable and horrendous! Right after purchasing our new RV, the furnace failed. My husband, *****, called BlueDog and was told it was a 6+week wait to get it repaired (during the cold, fall/winter timeframe). ******* acknowledged we couldn't be without heat so said they would send someone out to us to He replace furnace. ***** was told after work completed to submit a receipt for full reimbursement and he did for $841.21. We received partial reimbursement of $464.84 but since been told by ***************************** that in order to receive the remaining $376.37 owed us will require us to submit a W-9. This should not be viewed as taxable income as we were told we would be 100% reimbursed. $841.21. MASTER BEDROOM SMART TV: TV failed right after purchase & were told BlueDog would provide replacement. Latest conversation was stating we need to purchase TV and get reimbursed. However, in light of the issue with the heater replacement, we haven't done this and want it replaced at BlueDog's expense. FLOORING WEAKNESS & DIPPING: Immediately following delivery/set-up, we noticed the floor dipping in laundry/bathroom area. BlueDog sent service **** to fix problem but it didn't fix it at all. The weak areas and floor dipping has gotten significantly worse. This issue has to be fixed permanently and quickly. The uneven floors are now a walking safety issue. SUB PAR CABINET/DOOR QUALITY. The quality of cabinetry is extremely poor & quickly had signs of chipping and dings- needs replaced with superior product or repaired.Initial Complaint

We brought in our brand new Keystone Hideout trailer to them because our slide out wouldnt slide out. We brought it in last week of May 2022. Until now (September 26th, 2022) it is not repaired and without any communication on their part. I call them daily and they either say theyll call back and never do or that theyre waiting for response from Keystone or that they dont know. Heres a timeline:Brought in- last week of May 2022 1st Submitted claim to keystone for repair - June 13th 2nd claim - august 30th 3rd claim - September 20th (since apparently there was some other issue)All this was done without any communication to us and getting sass when I call to ask about it.This is a brand new trailer and we hadnt had chance to use it all summer. Im extremely frustrated with the way this issue is handled and the extremely bad communication and work performance.Initial Complaint

We purchased a trailer 2 weeks ago . Drove from ******* to ******* when we arrived at our campsite my 2 year old niece had cuts and pieces of metal shavings in her feet off the floor. After looking there were metal shavings all over the floor and under the mattresses. Everytime we went to make a kcup of coffee the gfi would trip while running the generator. The bottom panel in pantry just laying there not attatched. Neither outside door would close without slamming. We used the trailer for 2 nights the slide would not go back in. No one available to come fix for 2 days we were told to drive the 15min home with slide out . They tried talking us through how to get the slide in there were so many metal shavings it messed up the slide were it has to be replaced. We were then instructed by the ******* location to drive over 1hr with the slide out to ***************** to the ******* location VERY DANGEROUS. When we got there we were requesting to return or trade the trailer and we were told we could not. Also addressing our concerns they said well sometimes things happen with no care. I finally made enough fuss they threw in 2 snap in blinds and a tp holder WOW . We were told we would be moved to the front of the line for service but it was there 1 week before the claim to replace slide was filed. I leave messages and get no calls back. So I bought a brand new trailer had it for 48hrs and cannot use it because they did not do the proper inspection to give it to us in the correct condition. Now it is in the repair shop while the rest of the summer passes. I no longer want this trailer that I got to use for 48hrs and then put my family in danger having to drive it over an hr with slide out and cant get any reply to my messages.Initial Complaint

Purchased a 2022 Redwood 5th wheel, and they didn't do the pre purchase inspection correctly and missed that the compressor in the fridge wasn't connected. Had to return the 5th wheel for repair, because of their mistake, only to get it back with a tear in the flooring and dents in the fridge. Called multiple times to resolve, and no one would return my calls. Finally asked for the manager, and spoke with *** who assured me they would replace flooring and fridge, but it would be 2 months out. This was 4 months ago. Tried calling, but no one will return my calls. There are multiple issues with the *** one of which they were aware of at time of purchase, which was a large s**** coming out of the floor, which they told me would be repaired when the new flooring arrived. I asked if I should schedule an appointment, they said they'd call when the flooring came in, it would take 2 months. It's been 4 months and still no return calls. I've left messages with the service department asking for *** to call me, as he said just call him directly, but his extension doesnt work. The slide leaks, and the slide itself is caving in. Trim is falling off, window seals are tearing, the in-Command system has failed 3 times, the A/C in the bedroom doesn't get cold, there's water in the storage area, screws are backing out on the slide, one cupboard caved in, ceiling in the slide is separating, base seal in shower separated. All of this should be warranty work, but can't get a return call from the service department.Initial Complaint

On 7/20/2022 we took out trailer into Blue Dog RV service center (**** ************. ******** **, *****) to repair our slide out. We were told it would take a couple days to diagnose and repair. I made it clear to contact me before any repairs were made. We never heard from them on the given time frame so we called and they apologized for not having any techs at the time. We called again the following Monday and were told the slide out was not covered under warranty but it was 100% fixed and would cost $212.40 for moving a roller guide for adjustment. I thought that was funny because they didnt call and I never authorized the repair. When I arrived to pick up the trailer, I tried the slide out and it still crashed into the floor like when I dropped it off and was definitely not repaired. When I told the front desk (***********************) she said she misspoke and the trailer was not done and it would be another several hundred dollars to shim the slide out and then she proceed to blame my wife for the confusion because she was trying to figure out if it was covered under warranty .I ask if I could get a refund since the work was done without consent and it wasn't fixed but she declined. Because of there poor customer service I decided to decline additional work and take my trailer home. When arriving home, I took a look at the roller they moved and they only put one s**** in it so now it flops around when the slide out is operated and is covered in goo of some sort. I now have to have there fix repaired on top of the original issue. I also tried calling cooperate and never got a reply. Just want my money refunded for work that was not done with authorization and properly with quality.Business Response

Took our 2019 ************ Solitude trailer trailer to Blue Dog RV Post Fall, where we purchased it new, for our yearly forever warranty service, Tuesday, June 28, 2022. We were informed our grey tank was cracked within a week of dropping it off. My husband informed them the grey tank had a leak last year when it was in for service and had supposedly been fixed. The service department was going to check into it and get back to us. Crickets! My husband called and called, eventually every phone in all departments NO answer! He has left messages, texted, emailed and ended up driving to ********** ** from where we live in ************ **, which is 40 miles one way. He was informed the problem with the grey tank was was different then last year, they were contacting the manufacturer to see if it was covered under warranty and they would get back to us. Again no contact from Blue Dog, again phone calls, texts to no avail. Again my husband makes the 80 mile round trip to ********** to find out whats going on. A good thing since they hadnt even ordered the new grey tank as they werent sure who was going to pay for it, doesnt matter whos paying it needs to be fixed and should have been ordered. Who knows how long it will take to get it. Again we have heard nothing from Blue Dog RV. We dont know if its been ordered or the status. We have also had problems with our cable connection in the *** It has never worked since we purchased the *** We have listed it 3 times as needing to be fixed and were even charged for it to be fixed. Yet it still does not work. Unfortunately we have no way to check it until we are on the road as we have no cable where we live. Its bad enough it be told problems have be fixed and find out that they were not! Its more upsetting when you have paid for repairs that were not made?I do not understand how a company can conduct business when customers and owners are unable to reach the business. Baffling! We are not happy with Blue Dog!Business Response

I bought my camper in 2021 brand new. I needed repairs and took my camper to Blue Dog RV service center ********** **. This place has been the WORST customer service I have ever had. I took it in they were supposed to repair things that were broken when we got it and screws coming the floors so needed new flooring, blinds where broken. They supposedly ordered the blinds and flooring and no communication no return calls. Finally got ahold of someone and no update so we went and got camper to winterize it. After winter contacted them again took for ever to get ahold of anyone then they have it and got the parts never told us they got the parts needed. Take them the camper and ask how long it will take for repairs. They state no more then 2 weeks. No call for 3 weeks so we call them and they say ya its ready except the propane regulator regulator is not in from Jayco yet. Okay well is it usable can we pick up to take camping? They say yes. We get there to pick up and they tell us we cant use until that regulator comes in. I have a camping trip in 3 days. The man I spoke to was very defensive with my concerns about the customer service and blamed everyone else including *****. Another man said they can put a different regulator on it until mine comes in so he does but had to stick around ********** for an hour not expecting. But we got it and got to go camping. Then go camping and the broken blinds that they were supposed to replaced are still the broken ones. There was metal Pieces from the flooring being replaced all over the camper. I had to clean that out and they were on the bed floor counters everywhere and I have small children. I called and left a message two weeks ago no call back. Called and spoke with someone with my concerns and asked for a manager to call me back and was told by the end of that day the manager would call me back. **** the manager was so rude I had to end the call.Business Response

We apologize for the customers frustrations. We have been extremely short staffed with no receptionist.
The complaint doesn't specify which blind they state is still broken.
According to our records, the blind above the dinette was adjusted & the blind above the sink was replaced.

On July 2nd 2022, my wife and I traveled from our home in Washington state to purchased a 2022 Sunset Trail 269FK travel trailer from Blue Dog RV in ******* ******. The sales person was *********************. The vehicle was roughly $48,430. We paid $10,000 down payment and financed $38,430. Our transaction was finalized by *************************. During the course of finalizing our paperwork, I asked **** if the taxes would be calculated automatically seeing we were an out of state buyer. I was advised that they are calculated based on my place of residency. **** also advised us they would cut a check to the licensing agency to pay the taxes upon registering the vehicle. I told ********** was concerned that the taxes would be different, but she reassured me their system calculates correctly, and that if anything we would receive a check back for overpaying. **** also reassured me that Blue Dog would take care of it should an issue arise. On July 22nd we went in to *********************** to pickup our registration, plates and tabs. The lady behind the counter advised us that Blue Dog RV had sent them a check for $2,953.03 for taxes but it was not enough to cover the cost. We were told that it would cost an additional $1,590.52 to pay the taxes and register the *** The same day, I emailed ************************* and ******************* who does the title and registration paperwork requesting the issue be fixed. On July 28th there was still no response to my emails, nor my wifes phone calls after days of trying. I emailed **** several times and she refused to respond, nor did anybody else. On July 30th I called again and spoke to *****, who transferred me to ****. **** told me it was a mistake in their system calculating the taxes and that I should just pay it. I reminded her that she promised they would take care of it, and she said she would talk to her manager and get back to me Monday August 1st regardless. Today is Friday the 5th, and no response, and they wont answer the phone as usual.Customer Answer
