      August 27, 2023, I called Ibbotson Heating and Cooling on Chicagoland's record-breaking 110 degree heat day because our AC was blowing hot air. ****, the after hours ***************** Representative, quickly and politely verified my information and said someone would call within the hour. Service Technician **** called 5 minutes later and said he'd be right over. After what was a terrible day to be working outside, **** was polite and sympathetic and quickly diagnosed the problem with a temporary fix since this was after hours. We are so grateful to ****!The next morning I spoke with Manager ****, who suggested I check with the company who installed our system in case it was under warranty, which I thought was very nice of him. Our warranty ran out, so we're looking forward to our appointment for someone from Ibbotson's to install a dye pack to locate the origin of the coolant leak and an AC maintenance tune up. It will take about 4 weeks for the dye to circulate and settle into the leak. In the meantime, we're grateful not have 85 degree heat in our home.
