      I do not write many reviews, and I certainly do not enjoy giving out bad ones to anyone, but this one is absolutely warranted. *** has left a bad taste in my mouth by reneging on their own employees word as well on their no breakdown guarantee. I had my AC tuned by them in May of this year and last month, it broke down and failed to properly cool the house. I called them regarding said problem last month, and they came to my property to look at the *** Because of the no breakdown guarantee, they did not charge me. The problem was initially diagnosed (the coil was freezing up and had to be replaced), yet they refused to fix the problem despite their no breakdown guarantee listed on their own website. Eight days ago, on Monday, June 23rd, I called the company's customer service phone number and spoke to ******* to see if they can fix my AC at no charge as per their guarantee. ******* initially resisted but then spoke to his manager, and both he and his manager agreed with my position to repair my AC at no charge. Tuesday, June 23rd, they sent out a technician to my home for a second opinion. Despite their prior agreement, the technician and their manager indicated that they cannot do the repair at no charge. Having been told two contrasting things by this company, I called customer service for a third time in the hopes of resolving this issue. I was told this discussion will now go to their customer experience team, in which an employee named *** stated that he would need to "research it further." Today is July 1st, over a week later, and my family, like many others who trusted this company, is enduring the brutal summer heat. The company has still failed to reach out to me, and, more importantly, provided a resolution. You have failed to uphold your stated guarantee and it is apparent that your team lacks proper communication and customer service skills. One cannot trust a company that doesnt even follow through on their own employees words!

      *** installed the heater for us and its way too big for our first floor. I called them and they said they will take care of it but its been three weeks already and nothing is taken care of.  I'm calling them to see what are next steps would be But nothing.

      Worse company I have ever dealt with, borderline criminal. Told me I needed a whole new AC unit after waiting 8 hours for multiple technicians to arrive. If I hadn't contacted another local ********** for a second opinion I would have needed up paying 15K+ for a new unit when only problem was a $500 bad capacitor. Terrible all the way around, do not use. In addition their prices are astronomically high compared to other companies.

      ABC way overcharged me for the work done and it wasn't great and when I left a less than stellar review they offered me $200 to remove my review. I wonder how many other bad reviews they pay people to remove.

      A word of caution about ************ I had *** come to repair a toilet that was not stopping. The tech, very nice, said "it will be $532. Not paying attention, I said we wanted the toilet fixed. A couple days later, I did the math. He replaced the fill valve ($ most expensive $20 at **********) and the water intake line (maybe another $15 at **********). I called *** to get the details for the cost and they said they couldn't - it is a job based price and they don't have details. But lets assume their prices were twice ********** or a total of $100. That means I paid $432 for about 1 hour of labor. AS YOU MIGHT GUESS, I WON'T CALL ABC AGAIN!

This also means that if the repair had taken longer than expected or required additional work, you would not have been charged more.

      We understand that comparing material costs can be frustrating when they dont seem to align with the total price. Our pricing includes not only parts, but also the technicians time, expertise, specialized tools, travel, insurance, and a warranty that stands behind the work. The parts that you would purchase at a big box store is just the part.

      No, it's not already done. Had *** put AC in 3 years ago. They put the unit in then told us our fuse box had problems and they would charge $10,000 to put in a new one. Of course I found another reputable place to install our fuse box for $3000 while also doing several other upgrades, Then when *** came back to finish up the installation the technician said he had to charge me for letting someone else put in the fuse box. When I said no and asked for manager's name he said he wouldn't charge me, I called for tune up for May 16, *************************************************************** was 45 minute notice. Later they called again to confirm. So I waited all day and close to 5 pm I called and was assured they would be coming that evening with 45 minute notice for arrival. That was the last I heard from ***. Terrible company.

      Abc came and quoted ****** to replace a water heater that was leaking. But the final bill was ******. The installers tried to install a water heater that wouldnt fit the space and didnt finish the job. The next day i had to take another day off work for an installer to finish the job. He replaced the huge water heater with a cheaper smaller model. But my bill was not adjusted. This company preys on the desperate and uninformed. There is no way a replacement water heater would cost so much. I never received a bill or an itemized statement just a bill that was way higher than the initial quote. Stay clear of ***

The water heater we installed is the exact same capacity as the original unit, just in a slimmer design to better fit the space. In fact, these narrower models typically cost us more, but we did not pass any of that additional cost on to you. The total price remained the same, and we did not downgrade to a cheaper modelonly one better suited to the layout.

      This company was going to charge me $2400 to replace a $50 part. After laughing at him and asking him to leave my property, they demanded a service call fee. Another plumbing company came out and fixed our leak for $150. Price gouging at its finest.

      If I could give zero stars, I would. *** isn't just incompetent they're predatory. Their business practices are rooted in deception, negligence, and a complete lack of accountability. On April 19, I called ABC to repair an AC unit that wasn't blowing cold air. The first ********** misdiagnosed the issue, claiming the motor and fan needed replacement. On April 23, he showed up with the wrong parts and had to return the next day when I wasn't home. He marked the job as complete and working, even though he didn't test the unit. It was still ********* April 28, the temperature inside my home reached 80 degrees my six-month-old daughter was inside and I made an emergency call. A second ********** came, found the original diagnosis was wrong, and attempted a proper fix. During the process, the compressor and hard start unit exploded, completely destroying the system. He promised a refund for the botched work and said a customer service manager would call. Instead, I got a call from a sales consultant trying to sell me a $10,000 replacement unit like a vulture swooping in after the damage was done. Despite repeated follow-ups, countless calls, and multiple promises, I was ultimately told that my refund request was denied. No explanation. No apology.**** so-called Worry Free Guarantee is a lie. They don't fix problems they create them. They don't take responsibility they deflect, ignore, and upsell. This company left my family in unsafe conditions, destroyed my AC, and tried to profit off the wreckage. Stay far away.
