      Awful company! So disorganized! They have been a complete waste of our time! Here is an email I sent them in September:"We have not been a customer since 6/16/21 because you would not pick up for months. So, for over a year we have sent countless emails that we do not want your service. We have a much better company who is very organized and shows up for their schedule. Again after at least 20 emails and phone calls to your company please remove us a customer. "That same day 9/8/22 I talked to someone and she said that we were cancelled and gave me a Reference number. So, today I received an invoice from them for $169.43. They haven't even been here to pick up anything! They do not have a bin here! Also, today I received a notice that we are scheduled for a pick up 10/6/2022. Well, we never approved that! I decided to look on the customer portal and see what it said. It said that we are NOT scheduled. We just want to be done with them!!!!

      We used them in the past with no problems but we had a service scheduled for yesterday October 3rd. I waited all day for their company and no one showed up. I had to call twice just to be put on hold and told that we will be marked as a missed service and rescheduled. I am yet again on hold with their customer service currently. They cannot seem to contact the local branch or contact anyone in the company. It is absolutely ridiculous that we cannot get any information from them especially after signing an agreement to have them come out. I cannot even get ahold of the service rep we did the quote and agreement with. Poorly managed and serviced company. Giving all of its customer the run around because they cannot properly manage accounts or give their drivers better routing times.

      Absolutely HORRIBLE company. I called and/or texted 13 times to confirm service and NO SERVICE and this was a timed event that needed to happen. Furthermore, when I reached out to the imbecile in ******* who assured me all was taken care of he told me my tone was abusive and he and his drivers could not handle being spoken to harshly. RIDICKULOUS and for the record all I told him was that he had provided terrible service, no follow-up to many phone calls and texts and that I would not be using Shred-It ever again. I called a smaller company and they provided on site shredding the day after I called them (vs. the 2 weeks I had to wait for NO SERVICE from Shred-It) and at 1/2 the cost. They also do NOT have a corporate phone number and when you call the **** number it rings to a foreign country every time. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

      They refuse to pick up 6 bins that we requested picked up over 6 months ago. Every time we call, they have no record of us calling before, even though we document the previous 10 calls we made to them. DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!

      I have been a customer with two locations for years and their service has gone down hill. They were supposed to be at our office today. I called in the am to get a time frame. I was told they could not do that and it would be between working hours. I called back at 3pm to see when they would be coming. I was on the phone for 15 minutes and then they hung up on me. I called back and told the next person what had happened. She called dispatch and all they could tell her was if no one was here by 5pm then it would be tomorrow. When you run a company you should be able to let your customers know when or if you will be showing up to service them.

      we have paid bills since January with proof the checks have cleared I have called customer service several time and have emailed ******************* regarding our account I have sent proof that the checks are being cashed however not reflecting on our account. The only explanation is they are updating the system this was the same excuse in November 2021 however as of today my account is still past due after providing proof of payment. I can not get any help to rectify the situation only case numbers. Will close my account with them at the end of the contract.

      I have been a customer for many years and ********************** was satisfactory until two years ago when Shred it was bought out by Stericycle. It went from satisfactory to HORRIBLE!! I looked through the previous reviews and found that my experience is no different. Scheduling is awful--they have the office profile and come when our office is closed only to bill anyway. My staff has spent countless hours trying to get it straightened out with no avail, so I decided to give it a try. So now I can say that I have personally spent countless hours as well. I canceled my service--I only wish I had canceled it sooner so I didn't waste so much of my time!!My advice is check your contract, put 60 days prior to expiring on your calendar and cancel!!!

      Absolutely terrible. The box was picked up over 4 years ago and they still call for money that we don't owe. They send drivers and they laugh as they know we don't have a box.

      We are a small business. They gave me a quote via contract. They were suppose to call to arrange a convenient time. They showed up unannounced. I was not quite ready. Came back later in the afternoon. Driver would not help me carry anything from the second floor. Service was performed in April. Billing did not occur till July. They then added an additional $129 for gas & environmental fees etc. I have tried to call several times and no one returns my call. Customer service is useless. I would not recommend. I paid the bill to protect my credit rating but will never use them again.

      Horrible!, they have no accountability for their services! They are billing for services they are not performing. Do NOT waste your time and money with this company!! After trying to work with the 800# they pointed us to their web page www.myshredit.com only to find out that it's useless!!, they don't use it and they acknowledge they are in a lawsuit with the software company. appears their 800# is for some offshore company , they put in ticket #s for the complaints only to get a response at a later time they are unable to fill the request ... I have made every attempt to get on a properly working schedule with proper communication so my office could be serviced properly BUT it does not work. They just send a 'proof of service' saying they came by and note 'can't access site' and bill you anyway -- it's a horrible company , IT'S A SCAM!!!
