Today at 9am I filed an online grocery order on my Aldi App. I received no confirmation email as I usually do so I called my bank. My bank verified that indeed the almost $300 withdrawal from Aldi was pending. I called Aldi cooperate who told me my order was well on its way. Her name was *****. I got off the phone and received an email stating that Aldi canceled my order to to not enough ETF time. I did not want this. Aldi confirmed that it may take 10 business days for them to drop the pending hold on my $300. This means my family cannot eat for 10 days as that was our grocery money and they've made it untouchable by not dropping the charge and releasing my money back to me. My case number is ********. On January 26, 2025 there was water on the floor of Aldi store aisle. There wasn't any warning or caution signs put in place. I fell on the floor and hurt my leg and hip. I completed an incident form and informed the manager when it happened. An employee then put the wet floor sign up after I fell. I was seen by my family physician and had pain and limited movement for 14 days after the incident.I received a letter from Aldi's insurance company ***************************************************** *********, claim number 25F67M539043. I called them and have not heard any response from them. I have called, emailed, and snail mailed a hard copy letter to them. They continue to not respond.I would like my physician copay reimbursed as well as for my paid and inconvenience of my injury.Thank you for your help.Business Response

I placed a grocery DoorDash order from the Aldis in *****, **. My order was delivered, but several of the items were apparently out of stock. When I complained to DoorDash, they told me its Aldis responsibility to ensure items are in stock, and if they are out of stock, Aldi needs to note it in your computer system. This is a systemic issue that keeps happening. Its frustrating, because not only do I not get my order, but then I have to spend my time and money to drive to another grocery store to get the missing items. And ******** still hits me with service/delivery fees! Not fair to me as a customer at all. Dear BBB, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Aldi, located at ******************************************, regarding a series of extremely unpleasant shopping experiences I've had with one of their cashiers. I have been a loyal customer of this store for over three years and have generally had positive experiences, appreciating the affordable products and services it offers. However, I have encountered three highly dissatisfying incidents, all involving the same cashier. On each occasion when this particular cashier was handling my checkout, he deliberately created difficulties. For instance, when I had my shopping bag ready and placed it near the counter for him to conveniently pack the items, he would intentionally put the purchased goods into the lower shopping cart instead, solely for his own convenience. He showed no regard for the customer experience, forcing me to take each item out of the shopping cart and transfer them into my bag after completing the payment. My purchases were never excessive in quantity, and if the weighing scale was accessible, he could easily have placed the items directly into my bag after scanning and processing the payment. This approach would have been more convenient for both me as the customer and the people waiting in line behind me. These repeated actions clearly demonstrate that this cashier is unfit for his position. I am submitting this complaint with the sincere hope that Aldi's management will take this matter seriously and focus on improving the overall shopping experience. With the increasing number of customers visiting the store, the current shopping experience has noticeably declined. I have attached relevant transaction details for your reference, including a purchase made on Friday, May 2, 2025, with a transaction amount of $56.14which is still pending. During the most recent call with the customer on April 23, 2025, the customer was informed that due to them not having any remains of the product or the packaging, the supplier could not investigate; therefore, their request for additional compensation could not be forwarded to the products supplier. I am rejecting this response because:the product caught my microwave and packaging on fire!! How am I supposed to provide information off a package that caught fire? Clearly asking the impossible and not taking accountability for their actions or their products. 50$???? What does 50$ justify??? Would 50$ replace a microwave? No would 50$ replace my house if I hadnt acted quickly to putting the fire out? No I also asked for a call back from a manager and NO ONE has reached out to me for a company to take this as a serious matter $50 does not justify a serious matter.

Today, 4-19-25, my family and I went to the Aldi's in *********, **. I love buying the fruits when you have them on sale. I put all of my items in a box that had been on the floor. I wanted to use the box to take my items out to my vehicle. As I went up to the register, I received no hello or did you find everything?" I put the box on the conveyor belt, and this girl (hair in a ponytail and part of the hair shaved off in the back) starts taking my items out of the box and literally throwing them on the belt. I told her to not throw my stuff. I had to say, Excuse me, please do not throw my stuff. In a snotty little attitude, she says, I'm not through your items. I had to say, Yes, you are. I wanted to put the items back in the box, and she just puts them in the cart that's sitting by her. I said to her I wanted to put my stuff in the box. She just continues to put them in the cart. By now I'm very upset. I know I was there between 2 and 4. Since I usually get consumables, I threw my receipt. But this experience was horrible. I didn't even get a thank you or anything. The girl needs to learn how to treat customers. I live about 60 miles away from *********. And to go and get treated like that. I told my husband that I don't even want to go back. My complain is about one of the cashiers in Aldi ***************. She put my groceries in her shopping cart that was next to her (cashier). I haven't removed my groceries and she started to put the groceries from the other customer. I told her to wait until I put my groceries in my bag to start putting there the groceries of the other customer and she told me in a very rude way that That shopping card was hers. I came home and there were missing things in my groceries plus I arrived very upset of the way she was with me. Not nice at all.
