State Farm denied coverage to fix the glass on my car.
The glass damage was due to hail, but they agreed to cover the damage on the car but not the glass and asked us to file a second claim to cover the glass.
My representative ****** with the representative claims department - auto weather and catastrophe department. We were sent to "complex team" department
She refused to approved the claim because there was not a form of initial loss reporting filled out online. This was not our error, when we filled out the form online at the State Farm website, the page stated that the form could not be accepted, and directed us to contact **** by phone.
We then contacted ****, the claim was taken by them, the claim was processed and we were told that State Farm would then approve the work order with 48 hours, However 48 hrs later, when we called **** they stated everything was done on their side, and it was in the hands of State Farm. When we called State Farm, they stated that nothing can be done without first having an initial loss report filed.

So, the initial claim was processed as a single hail damage claim and the glass that was broken was supposed to be covered through the hail coverage. This did not happen. The glass roof of the tesla was cracked which clearly seems like hail. However they were unwilling to cover this portion of the damage, so we were forced to file second claim for the glass. Now, they will not take care of the glass portion of this claim when we did what was asked of us.

In truth BOTH GLASS AND CAR HAIL DAMAGE should be covered under one claim. However, we were willing to separate the claim into 2 claims because of them, and even now they are not approving the claim. We have been without our car for more than 2 week due to this systematic mismanagement.

Gave a price for insurance then tried to add more money to bill after agreement without notifying bill went from $239 to 409$. Called and asked why the price was changed they said it should of been taken when vehicle was added. This was not explained when filling out paperwork. ***** called me twice without me mentioning an added payment until i called and asked myself refused to make changes as I was explained i was never told about it if it was mentioned during signing I would have never signed anything cannot trick customers into paying for extra for insurance after the fact because the contract would have never been signed. Refusing to make changes to the 239 that was quoted

In March of this year i called state farm to request an insurance quote as i was shopping for a lower rate. The rate quoted was higher than i pay with ******* ****** so i declined. I subsequently received a bill the end of May requesting ‘overdue payment of $526.00. I called to set them straight and was told i indeed did not have a policy but did have an account. This should have ended the matter but i then received a phone call wanting proof of my current insurance policy. I refuse to provide that. I now received yet another overdue payment bill. Calls are recorded. They can check on my quote call and hear me decline. I believe their employee took a commission on signing me up though i declined. I want them to stop harassing me and to look into their employees who are providing quotes.

I had State Farm in August 2021 and rented a car that had prior damage on it. I contacted State Farm to find out what would be the process if I needed to file a claim about the car and they told me the process and we hung up. Later that day I got an email about a claim that was filed and I immediately contacted them to let them know this was incorrect. I was told it would be removed from my record. Fast forward to November 2023, I was attempting to get Car Insurance and the "claim" popped up on my record showing that I had an accident! I have NEVER had an accident and this false claim was inhibiting my ability to get car insurance. I contacted State Farm and they say that this claim would fall off my record in September 2024 so they sent me a Letter of Explanation showing that this incident was not my fault. Now Today, June 24, 2025, I am calling to get new insurance and they show I had an accident in August 2021! This is absolutely affecting my ability to get car insurance and it wasn't even a real claim that I made. This is unethical that they can put something on my record and 4 years latter it is still affecting me, unjustly.

I filed an auto insurance claim through State Farm on April 12, 2025. Claim# ***********. The claim for my vehicle has been pending appraisal since April 16, 2025. State Farm has failed to respond to my contact request, despite providing them with all the requested information. This claim has been escalated numerous times by me personally, as well as my local State Farm office. The claims adjuster has failed to complete the claim or return my calls. I am seeking the finalization of this claim so I can replace my vehicle. I have also been overcharged for my insurance premium due to the neglect of State Farm to resolving this claim.

This complaint is in reference to an incorrect insurance claim status that is reflected on ********** reporting. I contacted State Farm to address the issue for them to send in a correction. They were willing to send a letter stating that I was not at fault. However, this does not correct the information reflected on **********. I am requesting State Farm to send in the information to correct the error. This error has cost me paying more in insurance premiums. I would like to be refunded.

Back in August of 2024 we had *** ******* do an inspection of our roof, which found that we had several shingles that had wind damage. State Farm said they would pay for a patch repair but the roofing company fought to say that a full replacement of the roof so it would match the rest of the roof. It took until June of 2025 to get to get a approval for the roof in which we had the damage roof for the whole winter and several storms. The first week of June came and the roofing company came to start work on the roof in which they found out that my decking was not in code and was damaged. The decking was stripping apart as they were doing the tear off of the old roof. *** ******* update the claim to which state farm told us that it was my fault that I didn't do proper maintenance on my roof. When I called my adjuster she told me that it was my fault and I should have a done a better job at maintaining my roof. I told her that I can't inspect the decking without removing the shingles . I am sending you the report filed to me by the roofing company for my records. I think it is sad the insurance company wont pay for the total repair.

I filed a claim in March 2025 with State Farm and I have been not getting anything resolved. I’ve been asking for over a month for a manager to call me back and no onehas returned my call. This issue is out of hand because it states they have 30 days but now we going on five months, although they have been small portions of the claim they haven’t paid the other amounts they did an estimate and the estimate that they did was wrong. I’ve had several companies tell them that they was wrong top of that I’m getting fines and people are dumping trash, Carpet boat, etc. on my property because it is boarded up. The City Of ****** is finding mefor all the trash that other people are dumping because the house is empty and vacant. I have been doing my due diligence reaching out to State Farm day after the day week after week and is not getting any results from them, I don’tknow what else to do. My attorney told me to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau and you guys can take care of it before I take it to court

I believe that the State Farm, I deal with has unethical practices. I was sent to one of the places they use to do estimates for cars. I have never had my car messed up by someone else like I did and didn’t know the procedure, they said they can do the estimate and fix my car, so I’m thinking okay, let’s use your people for my car estimate. I didn’t know I had made a terrible mistake. And wouldn’t be able to take my car to another shop for my estimate. Take it to their shop and after taking it there, my local insurance calls on a blocked number with the car people and is like what is the damage to the car and I was like it was what I told the car guy and I let them talk, she asked him was that all with the supplement and he said yes and she and the guy was like okay so everything is good and I was going to get my car fixed. I the young lady who called was named either ******** or ******** and I asked her why she called me private, and she stated she didn’t know it was private. The next day comes and I’m getting a letter that they are wanting to total my car out, mind you the estimate I see is under the threshold, so I don’t understand why my car is being totaled and per the estimate that was in the app and shown to me three different times is under the threshold, so when I hear this I’m like can I get another estimate cause I don’t understand why the shop is saying almost 9,000 dollars of work, the agent says it’s almost 6500 dollars of work, but the estimate with the updated supplement says 4,722 and some change, per the agent they wanted to give me 7, 062 for it. So per ga law the estimate they are doing is still under threshold. Mind you my agent is very rude. When I hear the news I’m like can I get another estimate. She snaps and says yes but you would have to get it done, I guess she thought my car was undriveable and I wouldn’t want it o spend the money.
She says yes you can but the estimate has to be exactly like the one we made, so I was able to get one

      Customer Answer

      Date: 06/23/2025

State Farm stated that they don't like it when you get another estimate, but if I did it would have to be exactly like the one they wrote.  I did a bit of research and MOST INSURANCE COMPANIES don't mind if other estimates are done. mind you I only said they could fix my car, cause ******* ********* said they were going to fix it.

Per them if I would have picked people not connected to them, it would have been different. That is the crazy part. the fact that they made me think the estimate they made was 75 and 80 percent of the ga threshold and then to back track and then say it is under threshold after they let me take my car and was getting a repairable estimate. the car is repairable, they even said they never did anything to my car they were just guessing. the other place I took it to did the same thing.

I just don't understand why was there so many people calling me regarding the claim. my local State Farm was calling and saying if you have any questions and then when I would call I didn't get a call back when I started to be confused about the numbers I was getting and why what was shown to me in my claim wasn't what the collision place or the claim adjuster/claim associate, cause state farm didn't send anyone out to be the adjuster, they just sent me to their repair shop for their estimate, then they didn't even want to see
