      I attended physical therapy in late 2020 and early 2021. I told that what my insurance was and they told me I should be all set. I got a new insurance company on January 1, 2021. I let them know at the front desk. In September, 2022 (about 20 months later), I got a bill for ~$3,500. Even though I provided them my new insurance they kept trying to charge my old insurance which obviously didn't pay so they sent me a bill 20 months later. I had to give them my updated insurance which covered all of the appointments in 2021, but I was out of network in 2020 even though they said my insurance was accepted. So I got a surprise bill 20 months later and after spending hours on the phone with them and my old insurance company I had to pay $500 out of pocket. I never would have gone if I knew this.The physical therapist had me attend two months worth of sessions for a wrist issue. It wasn't getting better so the senior PT in the office saw me. It turns out it was a ganglion cyst and physical therapy was doing nothing for it. They should have figured it out during the first appointment and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. It was a huge waste of my time and money.

      Staff is friendly but the billing system is terrible. If you get the same treatment every time you get a different bill for every day. **The tell you how much your copay is and set you up on automatic billing but then you get a big bill at the end. Pick a reputable company not these guys. I would not have gone had I not been misled into thinking my copay would cover my visit.

      The therapists were great, but ATI has severe issues when requesting return forms for federal housing recipients that need their medical records form filled out within a 2 MI the time period!

      While the actual PT staff at the ************ ** did a wonderful job in helping me recover from my shoulder injury, I have to say the billing **** of the company nationally is completely inappropriate. After getting a bill in early Sept for an April visit for a copay that was legitimately missed by staff at the local office, I clarified in that call my account was up to date thru late July treatment visits. But, lo and behold I get a bill in LATE NOVEMBER for an alleged outstanding issue in LATE MARCH?! No, not appropriate nor tolerated. So I comment here to see if others are being billed excessively late for alleged charges not accounted for OVER SIX MONTHS LATER? Shame for the clinical staff to be tied into these shenanigans

      This has been the worst experience ever. I called to schedule an appt for therapy at the Pontiac location and was told that my insurance had been checked and I was ok'd to begin therapy. After the initial visit I went back for the next one and the receptionist advised me that my insurance wasn't active and that I would have to pay for the visits. I called my insurance and verified that it was indeed active. I cancelled all remaining appts. Then I get a bill for $126 after my insurance paid over $500 for 1 session. I called the billing **** and was told I should call the *** location I went to because I shouldn't have a bill. After being bounced around to different people and never getting any help I decided to just pay the $126 so my credit wouldn't be affected because of this company's unprofessionalism. I call the billing **** to set up payment arrangements. The lady was very rude. My bank just notified me that they took out 2 payments at once. I called to get a refund of the extra payment. I was told it would take 30 days for a refund and that I could just leave the money with them for next months payment. I told her to cancel all my banking information and just keep the $60 I'll send in the balance in check or money order. This company is awful from the beginning to the end. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I chose them for my therapy sessions.

      Cant keep same therapist. Gart going with o e and progressing and next time new y and you start all over. They treat 2 at a time.

      Wife utilized their services to rehab a broken ankle. She went to rehab for an hour each time and the bills ranged from $267 to $423 for that hour. She was always assisted by an Asst ********************** Therapist (not the physical therapist). They structure their billing in rehab units based on exercises/equipment utilized (15 minute minimum unit). If you do more exercises in your hour, your **** is higher. I would not recommend them to anyone in upstate **************.
