1 starIf I could do no stars I has a issue with Ulta I didn’t purchased an order that was on my account that I noticed and I want to go use my credit card on the app and couldn’t use. It kept giving me errors about my name and address and I called Ulta!! and I had nothing but rude people and they didn’t resolve the issue and told me that I can use my credit card in the store but I wasn’t allowed to use it on the app. Also told me I couldn’t use my bank card or any other payment on their app but I can go into their store and use my Ulta credit card in the store purchases only.Review fromJanie C

I'm a little upset. I've ordered online to have shipped to my home more than once and it has always been decent, some damaged products but nothing too bad. However, this last time, I received the COMPLETELY wrong order and tried to reach out to get things fixed. I was hung up on multiple times over the phone, ignored via chat, due to "updates". Someone I couldn't even understand kept saying they would reach out ASAP. that never happened. Finally when I was able to contact someone, the resolution was ridiculous. I don't have a tracking number for the items they are supposedly resending me to make things right. Can't get an honest answer about the items I am supposed to send back at my own expense even though they are the ones that messed up? Not happyULTA Beauty

One of the managers here is very rude. I asked for help and she gave me the cold shoulder and coldly said Im helping a customer, wait in line yet she actually wasnt. She was stocking supplies. Cant believe someone with no customer service skills is a manager. Dont know her name but she has short brunette hair. She seemed annoyed at ME for asking for help to open a perfume cabinet and as if I was the bane of her literal existences. If youre annoyed at a customer asking for help, why are you a manager. Someone who witnessed this said shes never seen anything like this before. Ulta should reconsider putting people in management if theyre going to make their customers feel less than. I opened up a credit card before opening up a credit card. I saw that my address and my name was incorrect. I informed the girl at the store she said once it goes through we will immediately change all the information to make sure its up-to-date. We did that three weeks later no card no bill so I called up Ulta. I let them know that I hadnt received my card yet. Out of curiosity I asked did it go to and I gave my previous address the response was yes and I said thats not my address anymore and Im sure you probably even have my old last name on there. They changed it. OK will send you a new card so I immediately went online. Tried to figure out who their credit card company was and saw that my bill was late. I quickly paid the whole bill all at once new card arrived. It has the wrong last name on it. Call them up. Let them know about the new name. Card would be in the mail three weeks later no card then I get a bill for late fee, I called them let them know again that my last name has changed which again they had to change it in the system. I let them know. Why am I paying a late fee when it was your fault that it was sent to the wrong address oh well were really sorry but you wont be charged another late fee again because you paid it on time yeah I know I paid it on time because I didnt want my credit hurt again but they didnt care then I get oh will give you a $15 credit towards your next purchase really Dont worry about it. I will not be getting a credit card at Ulta ever again. I will never recommend their credit card to anybody so while I was on the phone, I said you know what take the $15 keep it but I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau cancel my card. Im never spending money there. Have a good day and hung up on them. They act like they are compassionate people and that they understand, but they dont. Dont ever get a card with them.ULTA Beauty

I ordered a product from the Ulta online store. The website stated that average delivery time is 12 days, but my order arrived five days later.Upon unboxing, I discovered that the products box was damaged. Since it was meant to be a gift, this completely ruined the experience especially because I no longer had time to exchange it. Had the item arrived within the promised timeframe, I mightve had a chance to fix the situation.I also asked if the item was available at any nearby store. Not only did I get a response a full day later, but they also said they were unable to check product availability.Useless customer support, poor service. Ulta Beauty, ********************************************* 06/03/2025 15:05 to 15:30 I went to Ulta Beauty to buy a very basic item, but since I was on a long distance call, I decided to browse a little while speaking on the phone. Initially I saw the loss prevention guy in uniform following me; it made me feel uncomfortable but having worked in retail myself, I dismissed it as part of his job. However, after a few minutes I realized that the man was constantly hovering around me. At one point while I was looking at some lipgloss I caught him standing right by me, intimidatingly watching me, so I asked him if I could help him, he responded can I help you? I was a little surprised, and responded, with cosmetics? And in just so many words I told him that I know who to ask for help. He then proceeded to move from my right side to my left. Anyone who has ever been to this location knows how congested the cosmetic aisles are, imagine a man standing there, staring at me continuously. There were other customers in the store at that time but I have no idea what prompted this man to harass me? I dont know if he did it on his own or he was told by his supervisor to do so. At the time of checkout, I mentioned to the cashier ******* that this man is making me feel very uncomfortable and his actions are very unsettling; I just wish I didnt need this item so badly.When I got home I called Ulta guest services and registered my complaint, and was told that someone will call me very soon, but no one has called yet. Later I also reached out to Ulta Beauty on Instagram but to no avail. I scrolled through the stores online reviews and noticed that a lot of customers mostly people of color have faced similar issue; there seems to be a particular pattern to this strange behavior. I understand that watching suspicious customers is common practice but **** are trained to perform their duties cautiously in order to avoid invading and violating customer privacy.ULTA Beauty

I placed an online pickup order that was incorrectly marked as picked up. After contacting the store, I was told I would need to call customer service. I have now been waiting over 3 days for a refund and continue to be told the internal operations team is "working on it". I have been charged over $100 for products I did not pickup and they are refusing to process a refund.ULTA Beauty

They use ************** I interacted with them 3 times and experienced the following:Deceptive and incomplete account closure X 2 Delayed payment processing leading to unjust late fees, despite verbal confirmation that I would never have to talk to them again. Punitive fee stacking **************** ineffectiveness or complicity, and at least one lie. Comenity is skeevy. It is truly set up to s**** people out of money using hidden fees and problems. I have been unable to place an order through the app or online since January. Whenever I call, nobody seems to know whats going on and continuously has me try again to place the order again or wait 24 hours. Ive had the same account for about 10 years and currently have thousands of unused points. Ive never had this happen before and its incredibly frustrating.ULTA Beauty

I debate on writing this review, but I have to let others know about how Ulta beauty treats its customers who are black or brown. I often shop at the location in **********, **** on the west side. After yesterday I will no longer shop. Ulta does nothing to make their customers feel comfortable. The store employees will make your shopping experience feel uncomfortable. They will constantly watch you and make comments among each other. Especially if you are black. They will watch you harder than others. I have experienced this on more than one occasion but never said anything until today. This needs to stop or you will find your self losing customers. Sometimes you have to understand that there are people who are introverts and would rather be left alone than to be hassled, talked about by your associates.ITS UNCOMFORTABLE ??.ULTA Beauty
