Purchased Kenmore Elite refrigerator with Master Protection Agreement 2015. 4/10/23 Fridge is gone. Compressor useless is covered to (10) ten years but not service. Repairman from ***** says parts to replace compressor and other needed parts plus labor ***** plus. Parts take (3) three weeks. Meanwhile food is spoiled and all had to be trashed. Repairman states this product not good, and compressors are bad. No recourse? I purchased a Kenmore Elite 4 door refrigerator model ******** from ****** in May 2023. The product was delivered on May 19, 2023 without handles. I have been working for 11 months to get handles that fit the refrigerator, but I keep getting handles for the top two doors (refrigerator portion) that do not fit.At first we were instructed to handle this issue through ****** Concierge. However, the parts they sent several times never fit the upper doors. They are too long.The customer service person I have been emailing has stopped returning my emails. When I called Kenmore **************** at ************ and was told the right handles would be delivered. The wrong handles were sent. When I called ************* at ************ on 3/28/2024, I was told I would have to purchase "replacement" parts even though I have never had handles for the two top doors!Attached you will find multiple email chains with pictures of the door, the wrong handles, etc. This has been happening for almost a year, and I want a replacement for the refrigerator with all 4 handles. I have also recently replaced the air and water filters, so I want the same model for the replacement, as these are new filters that cost over $80.I want the refrigerator to be replaced, as it is still under the DEFECTIVE MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP of the manufacturer's warranty as it seems I will never receive handles for the fridge doors.Initial Complaint

I purchased a refrigerator in May ****. A few months after my purchase the refrigerator flooded out my kitchen to which I had to spend money on a restoration company. Kenmore replaced it with the same fridge and now the fan and motherboard has gone out after having the replacement only a few months. I have had no fridge longer then I have used it in the past year and a half. This is unacceptable and this fridge needs to be recalled and my money needs to be refunded. This is a Kenmore elite fridge. Do not buy this fridge it is a lemon!!!! I can't believe I have spend so much money on this fridge and it doesn't last even a year. Kenmore can't get the parts for the fridges they sell. Horrible customer service.Initial Complaint

I purchased a large Kenmore brand chest freezer from ***** located in ********* ** in May of 2022 for over 800 dolalrs. It broke 3 months into use and the ***** help line told us we were under manufacture warranty. They sent a repair man over and sent replacement parts to fix the freezer. It was breifly repaired however since they sent us a faulty compressor that made the entire freezer irreparable. That repair man came back said we need a new freezer and a second repair man they sent out said the same thing. ***** keeps telling us they will send us a replacement form for a new freezer and that they cannot give us a refund. We have been calling them continuously for 7 months trying to get this issue resolved and they will not do it. They trasfer us and give us numbers that either hang up on you or put you on hold indefinitely. We believe they are waiting for our warrenty to expire in May without resolving the issue we've had since August. The model number for the freezer is ************. I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator (Kenmore ***** 18 cu. ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator - Black$629.99) in October 22, 2021 and it wasn't delivered until November 22, 2021 as they moved my delivery date back 4 times within a month, the only compensation that I received was that my factory warranty was pushed out until November 27, 2022. I paid $739.98 including tax, *************** fee for this refrigerator and for the first time in June of 2022 I had to make a service call because the cooler to the fridge wasn't getting cold but the freezer wasn't defrosting itself. Within a year of having this apparatus I had to make another service call on November 3, 2022 because the freezer and refrigerator went out briefly but the freezer came back on and the fridge cooler fan stop working. Since November 3, 2022 every technician that has come out told me that the refrigerator they had on their service ticket was a fridge that was purchased in January **** (which had nothing to do with my account as my phone number is only 12 yrs old) Now on December 5, 2022 the technician came to fix the issue (after my warranty was up) and showed me that I was going to be charged for my fridge. Then we realized that the refrigerator on the service ticket was not the Kenmore that I purchased. This incident has happened the entire Month of November 8th, 15th 18th cancelled appointment on 25th and on December 5th. Now Kenmore customer service has stated that they can't honor my factory warranty because it is past the date of November 27, 2022 but the service team who schedules the appointments were purposely scheduling my service under the wrong refrigerator. I have lost over $800 in food and I need this rectified immediately as everyone that I speak with either Hang Up on me or leave me on hold for an astronomical amount of time. I requested a call back from a supervisor and no help. I want a full refund of this product and they can come and take this defective apparatus back to their warehouse.Initial Complaint

Hello, My washer is a Kenmore and less than a year old. It recently broke and was forwarded to ***** home services. The first technician that came out stated we needed several parts and he would order them. Okay understandable. About a week and half go by and another technician came to my house to fix the washer with the new parts. This did not work. The technician stated he has to order more parts. Another two weeks go by and the parts arrive. Now the third technician comes to my house and stated they ordered the wrong parts. So at this time Im pretty furious. Another 9 days go by and the fourth technician arrived at my house and stated once again they ordered the wrong parts and my washer cannot be fixed. I am extremely disappointing with the customer service and managers that I am dealing with. I am on my fourth technician with over a month without a washer that states they cannot fix it. I was told the manager wants to keep trying with new parts and does not want to get a replacement for me. Im looking for some guidance and how to handle the matter further. So far nothing has been done and Im stuck without a broken washer for over a month and 6 kids clothes to wash. Im currently still stuck with a broken washer and waiting for the 5th technician to come out and possibly fix if. Every single one of the technicians have stated I need a new washer but the managers refuse to replace it and will continue to order parts until its fixed. Please helpInitial Complaint

Compressor failed on refrigerator on 1/24/23. Reported to ***** on 1/25/23 and service came out and we paid $159 for an inspection and estimate. Estimate returned cost of $1,328.15. A class action lawsuit was filed against ** (parts in compressor or compressor itself) - Bentley et al vs ** Electronics ******* No 19-cv-13554 (DNJ). This class action extends the warranty for known faulty ** parts. Upon speaking multiple times with *****, **, and Kenmore no progress was made or even acknowledgement a solution was already in place. I spoke with ******** Claims as a 3rd party claims negotiator and filed a claim with them to see if Kenmore would address the issue. That claim # is L2301255016-0001.Initial Complaint

I purchased an upright kenmore freezer, **** cubic feet last March from Lowes. Around October the seal stopped working and ice filed the freezer. Someone came out to "repair" it in December. They did not repair the freezer and even more ice forms inside. I called and told them it was still not working. I purchase a Kenmore refrigerator from ****** May 2022. Because I was finishing a kitchen remodel I didn't plug it in until July 2022. After two weeks it failed to cool anymore. I contacted ****** and they told me it was outside their ninety day warranty and referred me to Kenmore service and they intern sent me to *******************. I contacted Kenmore ************* about the fact that A&E was unable to repair the unit on the first visit in August or the next visit in October because a part wasn't available. They acknowledge my purchase of the unit and indicated they would get back to me. I requested a refund since I had to buy another refrigerator because I couldn't be expected to be without one for four or five months. I purchased a refrigerator on Black Friday 2021 I never took possession until January 7th 2022 as I had to wait for it to come in I brought it to my house and left it in the box till April when I went back home at that time I plugged it in and it would not turn on I then contacted ***** hometown center where I purchased it they sent a repair man to look at it he found it needed a new mother board and said he couldnt get one saying they were unavailable so I waited in July kenmore themselves sent a different repairman he also said it needed a motherboard and he was able to order it it came quickly and he returned to install it the refrigerator turned on but wouldnt cool down its now the end of October and my refrigerator hasnt worked a single day and kenmore keeps telling me theyll help and fix it but to date they havent not in fact I cant even get them to send anther repairman to look at it I now just want my money back so I can go buy a new refrigerator please help me youre my last hope
