    On June 10, 2025, I found a 2025 Jeep Gladiator High Tide listed for $36,750, a $6,010 price drop posted on June 5, 2025. I used Cars.com check availability link and prompted received a response that the Jeep was available. When I contacted the dealership to make an appointment to view the vehicle, the salesperson stated that "it is not the same vehicle" and the price is $42,760, the price before the June 5th price reduction. The dealership *** stated that "we cannot control what a third-party website lists as a price". If this is true, they are setting themselves up for a lawsuit by not have the erroneous price removed from the third-party website. Note, both websites list the exact same VIN number for the Jeep. This is totally a "bait-and-switch" move because as of today, June 11, 2025, the $36,750 price is still listed.

    Please note the reviewer is ****** *****,. The dealership is Simi Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. It appears both parties were "passing the ***** about the lower price listed. The dealership has changed the price on Cars.com, but only after we addressed the discrepancy - we have also addressed this issue with BBB re the dealership.

    Cars.com posts prices and "alleged great deals" that are highly misleading and compounds the problem by not requiring, the extra "dealer processing fees" and additional fees, tacked on by the dealer, with this one by ******************* of *********, ******** particularly noteworthy. Used 2007 ******* Town ********************* ****** mi.$8,500 $139/mo*trid="kjYTZU771rZziouKjcd4AA" trc Great Deal | $1,041 under Hot Car this car is popular and expected to sell soon.We compared this car with similar 2007 ******* Town Cars based on price, mileage, features, condition, and several other factors.Avg. market price $9,541 It's posted by cars.com as a great deal under some $1,000 but.... add the "dealer processing fees" ($899 and find out about it late in the 'game) and other fees no5 divulged by ******************* on cars.com or by cars.com and the actual price is $10,000. Add an independent mechanics' repairs of faulty air suspension ($650 estimate), $150 to replace black break fluid, 2 bald tires, and the real price is $11,000+Note that the sales manager was honest that these fees are "100% profit," to quote him precisely.     Cars.com has very poor customer service and generates very few good leads. We ran into several issues where deleted/sold vehicles would show back up for sale on their website out of the blue. We could not see them, remove them, or delete them from the backend where we have previously marked them sold. All requests to have them removed were ignored. This created confusion and made some customers angry. ************************* in accounts receivable needs to be replaced with someone more competent and friendly. ********************* as an account representative is worthless.

    cars.com they are a joke. They said I was approved at the dealership and when I got there it was a lie. They hadn't got me approved, the down payment they told me was no where near what the dealer wanted. What a waste of time taken by those liars

    I have been trying to list vehicles for the last few months, but I've only been able to list 2 vehicles, this was like 4 months ago. But now, every single time I try to list a vehicle it is just submitted and it never publishes. I also have tried to reach out to customer service by email and nobody has reached out back to me.

    I had the best experience buying a new Ridgeline at *********** in ************* **. My salesman ***** and his ********************* made the process easy. By the time I left I had made new friends, I would send my family and friends there when they are ready for a new car. I also purchased a used car there.

    What a joke cars.com is !! Dont bother to log onto their fraudulent sight !!! They should be taken down !! No one Ever responds after one diligently tries to seek out a vehicle advertised on their sight .CARS.COM IS A FRAUD .     Dear DEALERS Never work with this company for advertising your vehicles. They are liars and crooks. I had a dealer account with CARS.COM for 2 years and one day they just changed and increased the rate twice but I had the same inventory of ***** cars as always. After long fighting with my rep(*******), they told me that CARS.COM improved their advertising activity and you will receive more leads... But of course, they just want to get more money. When I called them to terminate my contract they said we will give you back your old rate back but it was not true again and they just overcharged me for 2-3 months! Again I called Rep(*******) and heard a thousand promises but in reality, nothing changed. Finally, after I did plenty of email requests to terminate the contract...they keep going to charge me...after thousands of phone calls, they finally sent me a notification about termination but again charge me for 2 months. Still, nowadays I receive bills in the meantime my account is off. So this story just shows that they don't care about dealers and customer service they just trying to get ************************** money as much as they can.
