Worst bank ever. We opened an account for our baby when she was born. Never really added to it over the years, but just got a notice that the DRAINED her $200 for service fees and dormant fees on a CHILD's bank account. It is now ZERO! What a bunch of crooks! If I could file a legal charge for this I would, but what can you do? I tried to call the bank and work with them, but they say you have to COME IN PERSON. They don't even have any branches near us now because they CLOSED all their local branches! Worst Bank Ever! I would give negative stars if I could.

If I can rate this bank a 0 it will do justice to it. Horrible bank specially the branch located at ******************************************************. Branch manager along with the tellers are extremely rude and unprofessional.

They are charging dormancy fees on my kids savings account. If it's dormant just send me the money back. Horrible bank. Was never a problem when it was inland bank.

If you are an aspiring entrepreneur looking for a small business loan please continue looking elsewhere; I cannot stress this enough.Working with Byline has been a complete nightmare since we began our business. Our account manager rushed the purchase in order to meet his quarterly sales (I know this because he told me he was at the top in sales that quarter), they continually deplete your operating funds at closing due to their underestimated costs during the closing process, they did not provide all operating funds at closing which meant we had to put a lot on the credit card immediately, they took automatic mortgage payments out without consent or warning, and did they not properly estimate the first few years worth of revenue/expenses by not providing us with (a) the mortgage payment that we would be paying (I had to personally estimate that myself in the model during the application process) and (b) a realistic expectation of rate increases which they knew they would be doing. Our mortgage payment has increased by over 30% since its inception. Had I known that they would be increasing rates so often, I would not have gone through with the loan as I would have seen the profit shrink at a rapid rate.Byline Bank sets you up for their success. We have received no help from them and have at this point accepted that we are alone. The only thing that I can do productively is warn others not to go into business with them. If you are looking to do an SBA loan, keep looking elsewhere.

Byline bank refuses to turn over the money our mother left to us as beneficiaries. They set up a *************** for my mother years ago. Upon my mothers passing they informed us that they dont offer beneficiary ***s. They want to cash out the **** to get it off their books. If I allow them to do that myself and my brothers loose the tax advantage of the ****. In my opinion they should not be offering *** products if they refuse to offer beneficiary *** products. Lets face it people die every day. My mother had multiple other accounts and every other financial company offered beneficiary ***s. They are making this all very difficult.

The only reason I gave one is because there is no negative! From customer service to banking it has to be worst bank I have ever worked. 2021 my husband and I went into to explored the possibility of changing our business checking for more interest earning since we maintain about 150K daily Balance. We were told someone from business **** will call in few business days. And today is **** 6,2023 and we still haven't got the call. When we tried to a billpay function, my husband who is the owner of the business tried to get help , ********** branch refused to. Do you know byline banks doesn't allow their customers to use their restroom? I was told that someone will contact me for the issues I complained and one week passed, Still nobody called. 2020 when we got stimulate check and went to bank to depsoite it, bank told ** it couldn't be deposited. We then went to ********* in Yorkville it was deposited in few minutes. We are looking into the changing bank. Byline bank has to be the worst bank ever.

As a small business, we try to support other small business in every way, but our experience with the customer service at Byline is painfully absurd. The run around you get when calling in for support will drive you absolutely insane and always ends up with issues not getting resolved.
We reluctantly give them 1 star. A rating of -1 would be more appropriate.
Better to be a small fish with the big banks that wallow in madness with Byline.

Absolutely hate this bank. I was a long time customer but I refuse to be any more. Their fees are absolutely ridiculous and they drain everyone of money. Would not recommend at all.

Awful bank, Always have to call to get in touch with someone. Waste of a time. Their mobile app is so outdated and frustrating to use. Mobile deposit is a joke. Now they make you pay a membership fee if you have less that $500 in your account. Way to stick it to your customers. I hate this bank and cant wait to switch to a new one.
