I submitted an online inquiry for cracked screen repair from ****************. I received a written reply with a quote for an OEM part for $249, including labor. In order to get me to act quickly, the email also stated that the quote would only be valid for 24 hours. The exact wording of the email is: "The charge for replacing the screen is $249. The price includes both parts and labor. We use OEM parts. We have parts in stock and same day repair is available." When I called to schedule my repair, I was told that the actual price is $450. I informed the salesperson that I had been told another price and he said that I was mistaken and should read more closely. This is classic bait and switch deceptive marketing practices. And illegal. Be careful in dealing with this provider.
