I am complaining about my money is not getting back from PLS in a mouth that they toll me and know I call them toll me takes from 6 mouths to 3 yrs to get it back. I got a money order for $1,338 on 07/03/24 the same day I take it to post office and got stolen from it and the change the name of the pay to order and put a police report that I give them and they make me to give them two times a Affidavit and pay tow times to gated certificate was $30 dollars. because of that I had came up with money for my rent. I feel like they not doing anything to help me with my money back. Tellme that in one mouth be in my mail box and today toll me will not get it in till 6 mouth to 3 yrs in that time I don't know if I be living in same home.Initial Complaint

So a few days ago I went to pls to cash my check and they said they needed to verify the check but since the company wad close for the weekend I had to wait a few days so when I went back to check nobody had verified the check still so a few more days later they they told me that the check was good but didn't pass the pls criteria so they didn't cash my check and I don't understand why if the is good I feel they discriminated me because what pls criteria stopped them from cashing my check if it was good my check is for $1400+Initial Complaint

Ive filed 2 disputes for transactions that I did not approve of on my account. They made me wait 20 days for my provisional credit when I was suppose to get it back in 10 days for both disputes I have filed. Also Today is July 1st 2024 I am suppose to receive my provisional credit today! Ive called into their business 3 times already because my credit still has not been applied to my account. Several Dispute agents told me if they can not solve the dispute case in 20 days which was suppose to only be 10 I would get my credit today. I called in again they told me they dont have a exact time on when my credit will hit wait until 11:59pm which is 1 min away from the 2nd of July 2024. This is ridiculous and unfair to me. They made me wait 20 days and I have to wait all day for a credit that they told me that I was suppose to receive today. This is unfair and Im ready **** They have played games with my money not once but twice. Making me wait extreme times for my credit and the day Im suppose to receive my credit which is today their still making me wait extreme times. I will never i repeat never ever use their services ever again. This is the worse company ever. They will never ever get my services after today. Im reporting them for being unfair to me and playing games with my money.Initial Complaint

I called customer service March ******* @ ***** I entered my prepaid card# and a lady named ******* answered. I advised her three times why I was calling, I asked her if she could hear me clear she said yes, she then asked me why was I calling at that point I asked for a supervisor and she refused to transfer my call.Initial Complaint

11/24/2023 my check was stolen and cashed at PLS checking at **********************************************************. I filed a police report and spoke with ****************** and the area manager ***** They confirmed that it was fraudulently cashed and reported it to the loss prevention. They bank with ********** and they have not corresponded to my employers bank and I have yet to receive a reissue check for my money from my stolen check that was cashed there. KJ reassured me that they would refund the money to my employers bank but its been months and they still have not refunded the stolen funds.Initial Complaint

Back in December of 2023 I purchased a money order from PLS for the amount of $1224. I opted not to have it filled out by them thinking I could just do it myself. Unbeknownst to me this caused my landlord's bank to reject the money order so it bounced after being canceled. I contacted PLS directly to notify them and was given a form to fill out for a refund. I was told i would recieve my refund in 2-4 weeks. It has been over 2 months later and I still have not received my check. Everytime I contact customer service I am redirected to a voice-mail. They haven't returned my calls and I just need to recover my money so that my landlord can be paid in full.Initial Complaint

I have cashed 2 checks so far here the first time they charged me around 10 dollars. The second one they charged me *****. I had a stroke and my disability checks I have to cash. I would like to keep coming back here but at that price Im going to have to find a different checking cash place. It just makes no sense to charge one price and then basically increase the next one by 400 percent.Initial Complaint

I went to *** cashiers on ********************* ******** 11:00 a.m. September 25th at 10:30 11:00 a.m. I brought I asked to buy a money order for the amount of $21 the cashier who's supposed to just serve me my money order and ask if I need a main printer on it demanded my birthday then asked me if I had ID and then refuse to sell me the money order I also brought I also put $20 on my debit card my POS debit card she did that but she would not sell me a money order and I know that this is discrimination and I want to file a complaintInitial Complaint

Purchased money order that was typed and made direct to my landlord on 8/1 and a stop payment was made on 8/11 because they had not received payment. I was told initially 2-3 weeks but paperwork says different (30 days). Ive made contact with PLS 4x over the phone (8/14, 8/16, 8/28 and 9/18) and once at the local PLS since 8/11. Now its 9/18 and they are saying they never received my money order paperwork to process the paperwork. How do they not talk to one another? I will be heading up to my local PLS today to get this resolved because aint no way yall can hold money orders this long and the process not going along as it should. Will update once I know more
