On 06/02/24, I was followed, threatened, called ignorant, illegally videotaped and illegally restrained in an elevator by a security guard ******************, employed by Kates Security and Detective Agency for absolutely no justifiable reason. She abused what she perceived as her powers. After repeatedly asking her to call 911, she took it upon herself, abandoning her security post, to intimidate, bully and illegally block the entrance of the elevator, not allowing me to go up or exit. On Sunday mornings, I visit an 83 year old resident with the onset of dementia to administer medication. I have been doing this for over a year. I am listed as one of his emergency contacts. My identifying information is in the computer. *** encountered her many times, once requesting no identification and granted entry and stated, I know who you are. The day in question, I approached the desk with a State issued drivers license. I identified the person and location as to where I was going. She said she attempted to call him, but there was no answer. The call was never displayed on his phone. I tried to call, no answer. This was very alarming and I asked her if she would allow me to go up or accompany me due to his age and vulnerability. Her reply was, you aint going no where and went on to tell me about an incident she encountered the previous week and how her job didnt pay her enough to deal with this s*** I asked her to call 911, I needed to see if the resident was ok. I turned away, proceeded to the elevator, she abruptly got out of her chair, following me, calling me ignorant and when I got on the elevator, she stood at the entrance, not allowing the elevator door to close and not allowing me to exit, making physical threats to put her hands on me. This forced me in a defensive position, trapped, her yelling at me, videotaping me until a maintenance guy appeared. He agreed to go upstairs to see about him and when he came back I was allowed to go up. There is video.
