TERRIBLE DISGUSTING INAPPROPRIATE UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE!!This was my first order with GrubHub and Phuket Thai and it would be my last if I didn't have a gift ******* sixth sense told me to avoid this s***** company, which is why I sat on my gift card Amazon Prime access to it for over a year before finally trying to use it ********** was 5pm and I hadn't eaten anything all day yet and decided to order from here. After making me wait over an hour 5:05pm to 6:27pm just to get it they had the sketchy ******* driver make 2+ stops along the way with my order being last. He circled around the area and went everywhere but area where I was,which was hard to miss then left at the exact time he should have been delivering the order (6:27pm) and drove in the opposite direction. You can tell that the person is doing it on purpose for whatever reason. The ********************** hung up the phone in my face. I tried to call the driver multiple times and texted them multiple times when they were in the area and they never responded and didn't even have their voicemail setup.After 6:45pm from ordering at 5:05pm I left after chatting with GrubHub support who only offered false fake empty apologies and a measley $10 credit. I told them multiple times that I could see what the driver was doing, the food was now cold, and that I wouldn't eat the garbage and they refused to cancel the order. This complaint is just the beginning of what I am going to do until I receive a FULL REFUND, get $25 credit from waste of time,hardship, and duress, and this disgusting driver is punished.Business Response

I am a Grubhub user and have experienced ongoing problems with their services, including order errors, billing discrepancies, account access issues, and customer service challenges. Rejection of Grubhub's Response to Complaint #: ********- Second Attempt
Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am writing to formally reject Grubhub's response to my complaint # ********, as their reply is misleading, deflective, and fails to address the core issues I have raised. I am also resubmitting this complaint due to the previous complaint not being resolved, despite Grubhub's claims to the contrary.
Grubhub claims to have emailed me on January 16, 2025, regarding this matter (Reference: *********). I have thoroughly searched my inbox, spam, and trash folders, and no such email exists. This is a clear misrepresentation on their part, and I request they provide proof of this alleged email, including the exact time it was sent and the email address it was sent to.
Their subsequent claims are equally concerning:
**"Unable to process any order adjustments...due to an unusual number of refunds...": This statement attempts to shift blame onto me for their own repeated errors. The refunds I have received are a direct result of Grubhub's failures to deliver orders correctly, not an abuse of their system on my part. They provide no specific details about these alleged "unusual" refunds, making this claim impossible to verify. Furthermore, their mention of "previous accounts" is vague and potentially defamatory, as they offer no evidence to support such an assertion.**"This issue has been reported to the BBB previously and resolved...": This is a blatant falsehood. As clearly stated in my initial complaint, the previous BBB case (Complaint #********) was not resolved. Grubhub's claim otherwise is a direct contradiction of the facts and an attempt to deceive the BBB.
**Regarding my specific issues:
*Order Problems: The pattern of missing items, incorrect orders, late deliveries, and the stolen order in August 2024 (***********, $31.27) remains unresolved. Their refusal to cooperate with a police report for the stolen order is particularly egregious. The recent incidents in January 2025 (missing Double Fish sandwich from **********, incorrect Bahn Mi and bad Boba from Pho Viet) further demonstrate the ongoing nature of these problems.*Billing Errors: The discrepancies with ****** and SoFi transactions from August/September 2024 have not been addressed.
Account Access: The unexplained ban of my account in October 2024, causing significant disruption, requires a proper explanation and apology.*Customer Service: My experience with **********************'s customer service continues to be unsatisfactory, with long wait times and unhelpful representatives. Their claim that reviewing chat logs will provide a "complete understanding" is disingenuous, as these logs often disappear or are inaccessible to customers.
*ADA Accessibility: My concerns regarding ADA ************* remain unaddressed.
I request the BBB to investigate these matters thoroughly and hold Grubhub accountable for their repeated failures.

Additionally, my request to lift the restrictions on my account, which currently prevent me from seeking assistance for delivery problems or incorrect orders, has not been addressed.

On 1/23/2025 i placed a order through grubhubs app for food delivery from Popeyes chicken is easley sc totaling *****. I placed this order at 4:45 pm EST. At 535 pm I reached via chat and advised the order was now almost a hour out and no driver had been. Assigned spoke with two chat **** the second claiming to be a manager who told me a driver had been assigned and was at the restrauntbpicking up my order then and I'd have delivery shortly. I told him that was not true as I could see the driver wasn't even in same city at that point he said I was wrong and to reach back out if I didn't have by 545 pm. A blatant lie #1 by grub hub ***resentative. At 546 i reached out again sti told on the way couldn't cancel now as driver assigned if food was cold or not edible to come back for a refund. At 615 pm I contacted back food was delivered at 635 and was stone cold and unsafe to eat as had bee. Sitting 2 hours with mayonnaise concealed and chicken stone cold. Was told then no refunds would give grub hub credit advised **** i didn't want credit wanted refund it was denied called spoke with a *** who stated he issued refund i asked for confirmation # as I'd been lied to put me on hold then said wait no refund lie #2 spoke woth manager said would not refund. Only credit. This is not acceptable as i couldn't eat the food due to being unsafe or fit for human consumption. Again denied. I have chat transcripts and ref#s of all calls and chats. This can not be acceptable to be expected to pay for food that is not safe for consumption I'd like a full refund and an apology. I am not accepting this response until I actually see the refund posted to my account. Simply because I have been blatantly lied to by several grubhub employees. One even stated he had issued a credit and tried to end the call until I insisted on a confirmation number or email. At which point he stated wait the refund isn't approved. I will gladly accept once I see the credit in my account as at this point I could not trust anything stated by any employee of grub hub based on prior deceitful interactions.

Since Wednesday, January 22, 2025 Grubhub has paused deliveries for the area I live in. The app only allows pickup only. I'm assuming this is due to a recent fire that had our area under an evacuation. However, this event ended on January 23rd. For the past two days (Jan 25 and 26) I have been contacting Grubhub to reinitialize deliveries (portions of ***** and ***** zip codes). I placed an order for two boba drinks, and two taiyaki(fish shaped dessert) on Grubhub through amazon+ partnership. It was placed at 10:17pm. I do not know when the restaurant actually prepared the drinks but the sticker was printed out as soon as I placed the order as you can see in one of the images. I got a driver pretty quickly and my order was on its way around 10:38pm. It takes approximately 13 minutes to drive to my house from there and there was no traffic. The original estimated delivery time was 10:50-11:05pm which would have matched up. The driver delivered my order at 11:06pm. He also appeared to make a stop before at another house so he might have had another order to deliver and I was not informed. That time is more than double what he should have taken. My drink was a slush and it arrived completely melted. It was supposed to be matcha and Thai slush mixture and it only had one small patch of green at the top of my drink and tasted like straight Thai. My husbands drink the princess peach arrived looking like it was shaken when its supposed to have the cream on top. There was little to no ice in his drink. The taiyaki dessert was completely cold and hard to bite into. The picture of the drinks do not match how they arrived at all and I also added the original pictures below. I also have timestamps of when the order was on its way and when it was delivered. I also included the distance from the store and my house. Grubhub WILL NOT speak to me at all because I have had one previous food order refunded and a few items off Amazon that were damaged or missing that were refunded and this is too much to them. I need to be refunded as this is unacceptable and grubhub needs to take some responsibility. I also contacted today again and asked for help and when I told them I would contact BBB I was asked to provide my email and I would be contacted. Complaint Details Summary: Failure to deliver order, refusal to issue refund, and inadequate customer service.Complaint:On 1/25/2025 I placed an order with Grubhub at approximately 6:00 PM. The order was marked as delivered to my lobby at 6:30 PM. However, when I went to retrieve it, the order was not there.I contacted Grubhub customer support, but they refused to reissue the order or provide a refund, claiming my account had too many refund requests. This claim is baseless as I had created the account that very same ****** a result, I reordered the same meal directly with the restaurant and picked it up myself. While on my way to the restaurant, I received a delivery confirmation photo from Grubhub, which was a blank black screen. This was sent two hours after the order was initially marked as delivered.When I arrived at the restaurant, the manager informed me that the original order was never picked up by the delivery driver.
