      GrubHub has terrible customer service. There are always food items missing in our order. They always blame the restaurant. We have never received an apology from GrubHub, a refund, nor the missing food items.

      Terrible customer service if an order is incorrect they refund only the item cost they do not cover that you must repay for the delivery. Not only does this inconvenience the customer but it also provides a terrible experience for the delivery driver which the customer then pays delivery fee twice.. they need a way to validate orders without inconvenience to the customer additional costs and putting their delivery people in and odd spot.

      Today was the last straw with GrubHub. This morning, 6/26/25, the latest the delivery time showed in the delivery window was 9:57am, but just as the driver was getting closer to my house, he went back to where I'd ordered from then went way out of the way before driving back to deliver my order, late.
      I tried to contact the driver from the GrubHub website to see what was going on but it wouldn't go through. I then tried to get help from the GrubHub site but of course it didn't process, as usual. Their "help" has never worked.
      My order arrived nearly 10 minutes late according to the original delivery window shown on the GrubHub website. But of course GrubHub, once my order was delivered, changed the delivery window so that the delivery time looked as though it was within it. So I couldn't even claim a late order.
      I then went through the GrubHub website trying to find a way to delete my account, but there's no way to do that on their site. I went through all of the categories, my account, etc. No account deletion anywhere on their site. I had to google to find out how to delete my account, and had to request deletion from a third-party entity.
      I've had too many bad experiences with GrubHub at this point. And they can't just change the delivery window shown on their site to make it look as though a late delivery was on time. They need to honor their resolution process for deliveries that are actually late. But they won't, because as a business they have no integrity.

      Do not get scammed with the "Free Grubhub plus through Amazon prime" deal. Absolute scam. The small print says that if you cancel your Amazon prime, it cancels automatically. WRONG. I just looked at my bank statements and realized that Grubhub was still connected to my Amazon prime account and has been auto drafting a monthly $10.98 fee.
      I contacted Grubhub and have gone back and forth with incompetent staff. Since I didn't sign up directly with Grubhub under an email address, they can't "find an email" to find these charges. They've done nothing and basically told me to dispute it with my bank.

      After waiting 2 hours finally called to see where my order was. Had a conversation with a lady who Im not sure spoke English! She said oh your order is going to be canceled and gave me a whopping $7 coupon which I wont use because they cannot be trusted to deliver my food. So good job Grub Hub you disappointed the 7 kids waiting on pizza that was never delievered!

      I ordered delivery tonight. My ordered got delayed twice and never picked up. Forcing me to have to call in and cancel by phone. I'm pretty disappointed. I tipped 20 percent right from the start. Plus did the add extra tip option too. It's almost 9:30 and I still haven't eaten dinner. This was a special treat ordering Grubhub. It ruined my evening.

      ******************. Food was late and ice cold missing items. I was told there is nothing they can do because my account already received a credit for a previous order being late...They will make guarantees to get your money back if it's even a minute late or wrong. They will then tell you they are unable to help because your account has used their guarantees previously for a late order... So basically they guarantee to give you 5 dollars back one time then never fix another issue for eternity. I have now spoken to multiple supervisors at a foreign call center they use and told there is nothing to do and my money is gone but they'll "escalate my case to the advanced care team and they'll email me in 24 to 48 hours but if they say they can't help that is the final solution" so basically they are saying they can't be held liable for not honoring their guarantees and are victimizing the customers and are above the law. Don't use this app. Even door dash is better than this horror story. At least door dash will partially refund with a photo proving what's wrong. Grub hub is literally fraudulent and even if your food never shows up they'll just say your account used our late guarantee so that 5 dollar discount on your 35 dollar order that one time makes up somehow for your now 40 dollar order being unsafe to eat... ***** this company and maybe we should all start a class action against them to hold them accountable for their claims

      I would not recommend working at grub hub. Your ability to make money and schedule future blocks (which you get automatic pay for) is based on 3 stats: schedule commitment (how much of a block you actually work), on-time delivery (how consistently you arrive on-time for a delivery based on the given time, and offer commitment (how many offers you accept). These 3 stats are run on a 2-week average and if you are in the premier category you get significant benefits because you can get more opportunities at getting guaranteed blocks. To get this you must have 95%+ for offer and schedule commitment and 80%+ on on-time arrival. All 3 must be above these numbers or else you dont get premium. Very frequently the app causes me to miss out on this because there will be ghost orders. For example, one day I was offered an order at the bar and delivered the food. Yet when I checked my stats at the end of the day my offer commitment rolling average over the last 2 weeks had significantly dropped. This confused me a lot because I had accepted every single offer I was given while working. When I went back to that order mentioned earlier there was a glitch in which the app claimed there were 5 different orders from that person in a span of less than 2 minutes. This was clearly a glitch because when I delivered the order to that person they said there was nothing missing to their order. When I contacted grubhub customer support all they said was thank you for contacting us as we are trying to continually improve our services. When I replied to that email asking to talk to a manager I never received a reply. I also called their customer service about this issue and never got a clear answer on what was happening. This has happened multiple times. The other issue with this is that you miss out on guaranteed pay anytime you reject an order so anytime this issue arises I lose between $50-$100.
