    DO NOT ALLOW *****'S PLUMBING INTO YOUR HOME!!! American Home Shield sent *** (*****'s Plumbing) to my home to determine why my hot water heater stopped working. This man can to my home, I was at work by the way, went down to the basement and in five minutes he determined that I needed a need hot water tank PLUS $999 worth of non-covered charges! I called American Home Shield because I couldn't get in touch *****'s Plumbing so that I could get a explanation about the "non-covered charges". *** clearly added on additional cost that I did not need like modified gas line, modified water line, temperature adjustment. I didn't need any of services. In addition, I had a suspicion something wasn't right, so I went downstairs to inspect my water tank myself. This a** left the cover off, cut one of the wires to the igniter, turn off the water leading to the tank, turn off the gas to the tank. I was like WTH! I ask my next door neighbor to come over to help me. He was like, what the heck happened here! My neighborhood was able to light my furnace using a lighter and its been working since Thursday night! I told American Home Shield that *** falsified the claim and damaged my property. This man/business should not be going into anyone's home. He is a liar, has no integrity and lacks a moral compass. I will be following through with this complaint on the BBB.

    DO NOT USE *****, especially if you live in downtown *******. We requested a plumber through American Homeshield on 9/1, and they contracted out to *****. We called them right away, got an "answering service"- AKA not anyone part of the company, just a random person who didn't even take our information, just said they would have the plumbers give a call back. Over the next four days we then proceeded to leave 5 more messages, every single time the answering service said "oh we're just an answering service." Well, then what's the point if you're not even passing along the message? FINALLY we heard back from *****'s Plumbing morning of 9/6 (FIVE DAYS LATER- first of all, the "answering service" said ***** worked on the weekends, which online ***** also indicates- but no, they only work weekdays and not on weekends or holidays. They also said oh, we don't go to downtown ******* because we need free parking. Where do you get free parking in downtown *******? They also refused to fix this structural issue with American Homeshield. Extremely rude, unprofessional throughout. Their answering service is either wholly incompetent, or just lied the whole time. Do NOT use them, and if American Homeshield contracts with them, just cancel and get someone else. Wish I could give ZERO stars.
