I called Excel because they are ghostwriters and I wanted them to write my book.i paid them $4,500 dollars. They wrote a contract for me and they did not come through like they said they would. They told me my book would be finished within 5 months. I kept having problems with them making dozens of mistakes and keeping appointments with me. They would call me and record my chapters.I would sit and wait sometimes for them to call me and they would not call. I called BBB before I paid them to see if the were ok. BBB said they had no complaints so I moved forward. I also checked with their website to see if there were any complaints. Their seemed not to be any. Now they have a lot of complaints against them. If you could help me to get them to refund my money I would deeply appreciate it. I am a senior citizen and I really need to get my money back since they broke the contract. Thank youBusiness Response

We respectfully urge the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to assess the merit of this complaint and consider its closure, as it lacks a substantive foundation. The client, who initially engaged with our services in February 2022, maintained sporadic communication for a period of only six months. Notably, throughout this duration, the client never articulated any inclination towards seeking a refund from Excel Book Writing. It is noteworthy that the decision to approach the BBB is belated, manifesting only after a considerable lapse of time, seemingly driven by a newfound desire for a monetary reimbursement.
Our company has diligently articulated its refund policy, transparently accessible on our official website. The client's request for a refund, articulated over *********************************************************************************** a scenario where many companies might choose to discontinue a project, Excel Book Writing, dedicated to client satisfaction, remains committed to the ongoing project. However, a refund at this juncture is regrettably unfeasible in adherence to our established policies and the extenuating circumstances surrounding the request.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I asked for my money back after 5 months. They told me to wait a year and if it wasn't ready they would give me a 100% refund. My year was up March of 2023 and they never fulfilled the contract.
If you can help me in anyway I would appreciate it.

The company continues to promise to fulfill its contract (when we can reach someone there) but never has lifted a finger to do it. They are fraudulent in their claim to send 50 copies of my book. I have yet to receive even one of the said copies. The contract calls for them to deliver the books. They have not. I have traded emails for months and months and occasionally got a phone call during which they have attempted to assure me they will comply with their contract. They have lied over and over about the printing from the beginning of our relationship. I would like them to be held accountable for the contract I signed. They answered a review I submitted (on the BBB website) in September of 2023 with more lies - assuring me they had sent my books. We haven't even gotten a phone call or email from them since then, and no books are forthcoming, as far as I can see. Instead of the books, I would accept a refund of $4500.00 to print and promote my book without them since they are in breach of contract.Business Response

We respectfully request the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to consider the closure of this complaint, as
the client is seeking a refund despite having already received the services in question. The books, having
undergone the printing process, make a refund for these completed services unfeasible. Addressing the
client's accusation that Excel Book Writing failed to ship the printed copies, it is essential to note that
responsibility for this discrepancy lies with the client, who initially provided an inaccurate address. We
wish to assure you that the printed copies have been diligently re-shipped to the client following
meticulous repackaging, albeit this process regrettably incurred some additional time. An electronic
receipt screenshot is provided herewith, and a tracking number can be furnished in the coming days for
further verification.

refraining from any activities that *** wrongfully solicit funds from clients. Our commitment to

They simply default to NO COMMUNICATION in their day-to-day business practices. These people are out and out criminals. Never a single attempt by them to satisfy the contract nor communicate effectively with the customer.

I am rejecting this response because:Since February 2, 2022, my husband (editor) and I have been dealing with this so-called publishing company, which still doesnt respect the terms of the Contract. We had to use help from a lawyer, and my book was published after ********************************************* 20 months. They still didnt show us where we can see the promotional Calendars. During this long, disastrous telephone/online relationship, they changed my project managers nine times, and everyone was starting over the process. It was an absolute nightmare dealing with the disrespectful treatment of clients, unprofessional approach, and absence of decent business behavior norms. Multiple phone calls with their promises to complete their work always ended with their new lies. Amazon puts a high price on books using qualitative paper. We wont be surprised if it has something to do with the **** inappropriate decision. My husband bought a few for my birthday and family members. Since March 2023, every month, I was promised to receive my 50 hardback copies. Without any embarrassment, they find more and more excuses and lies to convince you of some nonsense. They called and said the printing format was wrong or the hardbacks were sent but reached the incorrect address. Then they called to ask for my mailing address, which they already had. I have never dealt with such scam-type people. I tried to be patient and didnt start any legal steps, giving them a chance to do their job and respect all terms of the Contract. I will have to do it to prevent other clients of unprofessional treatment.

EXCEL BOOK WRITINGS COUNTER RESPONSE
Excel Book Writing would like to issue a counter response to the client's recent communication. Firstly,
the client asserts that the book took 17 months to be published and the website took 20 months to go
live. However, it is crucial to note that no specific timeframe for the book's publication was agreed upon
initially. Additionally, if the client requires multiple revisions to their drafts, it naturally extends the time
required to compile and republish the final book. The client's emphasis on the 17-month duration
overlooks the fact that this time was dedicated to ensuring the publication of a high-quality book, free
from errors. Regarding the website, the client fails to acknowledge the logical sequence of events if the
book was not ready, launching the website prematurely would have been counterproductive, risking the
expiration of domain and hosting services.
The client raises concerns about changes in project management. It is standard practice to replace a
project manager if they are unable to grasp the intricacies of a project or if they decide to resign. This
ensures continuity in the client's work, and when a new project manager assumes responsibility, a
comprehensive project evaluation is necessary to understand its status.
Issues regarding missed phone calls and communication are addressed by explaining that Excel Book
Writing manages multiple clients concurrently and adheres to a scheduled weekly call with each client.
The 50 hardcover copies have been resent, and the client will receive them shortly. Addressing the mailing
address matter, it is clarified that obtaining updated information from the client is a routine practice to
maintain accurate documentation.
Lastly, despite the client's assertion of Excel Book Writing being a scam company, it is highlighted that the
client paid in advance, has availed over 80% of the services, and continues to receive ongoing support.
While a legitimate business might pursue legal action for defamation, Excel Book Writing remains
committed to a customer-centric approach, opting not to take legal measures and instead focusing on
delivering services with excellenceCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:While it is true there was never an agreed upon date for completion of the project this was due to the recalcitrance of the publisher to ever furnish one. The book was completed in November of 2022 - no further editing was requested since that date - one year ago. Since that date there's been nothing but excuses and false promises offered to the customer. I allowed the publisher to take weeks (which inevitably led to months where emails and phone calls were outright ignored until an attorney was included in the discussion) to even offer us updated information or answer inquiries on the project status. They are the ones who would not answer phone calls or emails. We never had a contact we could count on for more than a single week - in most cases the discussions we had ended there, that day, at the end of the individual conversation. Most of the time we never heard from them again concerning their promised follow up. The next time we spoke to someone it was like the previous conversation never took place. Delay, deflect and distort was their order of business. The "manager" (nine of them in all) disappeared shortly after making THEIR version of famous false promises. Never to be heard from again despite (always) after guarantees were made to furnish the requested information. *********************** briefly reappeared and made some more promises but then disappeared himself and has not been heard from again. Nothing promised was never forthcoming. We were always ignored until the attorney was copied into subsequent communications. The bitter truth is every complaint the company has cited concerning our behavior and lack of knowledge of the intricacies of the publishing business is pure projection on their part, and in truth, reflects their own behavior and lack of consideration for the client. When it comes to hard cash needing to be spent to print the books as promised by the contract - only excuses and lip service were spent as far as I can tell. I'll see if the books were resent as they have recently stated. Excel was never given an incorrect address by me. They are liars with this statement - see attached screenshot from April 6, 2022. This is a pathetic excuse, acting as though THEY are being defamed. Just take a look at what so many of their other customers are saying about them which, more or less, roughly echo my experiences. My wish has always been that they do the job they were contracted to do. All it would have taken over the last year was for the publisher to show concrete proof of their alleged actions concerning shipment of the fifty hardback books they are contracted to provide. Nowhere in any of their correspondences is any such proof. Even here in our correspondences with the Better Business Bureau, while defending themselves against our allegations - nothing lending to the veracity of their words exists. I am forced, then, to conclude these are only words. I am prepared to believe them even now. Just give me the proof they ever sent the books. Give me the proof they resent the books. I no longer believe a word they utter from their many mouths of deceit.
Sincerely and respectfully (and with sincere thanks for any efforts that could finally yield results from this company),

I hired Excel Book Writing back in January of 2023 to help me with my children's book. I signed two contracts with them. The first one was for "Book Writing Services" for which I paid $3000.00. The second one was an ******************* Agreement" for which I paid $5000.00. I also made a separate purchase to have an audiobook done for $500.00. The company did get my book done very slowly and painfully, but they failed to deliver anything for my advanced marketing agreement for which I paid $5000.00 to have my book marketed. They have agreed to give my money back and said I will be getting my money back, but it has been 8 weeks since they initially agreed to do so. They have not called me or emailed me for the past two weeks. There are also certain items from my initial Book Writing Services contract that they have not given me, including 15 hardcover copies of my book and a 60-second ******* video I can post to market the book. They created a website for me as part of the initial "Book Writing Services" agreement and it also does not work in terms of linking to social media and Amazon or being able to purchase a book on the website. I have not received an audiobook. All in all, this company has failed to do any of the work for the advanced marketing agreement or the audiobook for which they owe me in total $5500.00. They have been a nightmare to work with and won't even return my calls at this point. My points of contacts are ************************* and ******* (I don't recall his last name and I don't have anything written down). I signed the initial ****************** Agreement with ***********************. I also have an audio recording with ****** stating I could get my money back if at any time I am unsatisfied. I have multiple phone recordings with ******* and ****** stating I will be getting my money back, but now they won't talk to me.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to address the client's recent comments. It is important to note that the creation of an Illustration book, marked by its intricate characters and precise illustrations, does indeed require a thoughtful investment of time. Although this process may have taken longer than anticipated, it ultimately resulted in a final product that received the client's approval before being advanced to our publication department.
Regarding the client's assertion that ****************** services were not delivered, we would like to clarify that the initiation of the client's social media postings is an integral part of our marketing services. For the client's reference, the links to her social media profiles have been thoughtfully included below for verification.
Additionally, the printed copies, included as part of the marketing package, were not dispatched to the client due to her request to discontinue the marketing services. We would like to draw attention to the ***** second video trailer, which has been shared with the client and can be reissued upon her request, coordinated by our project manager. As for the audiobook, its progress was temporarily halted in accordance with the client's desire to pursue a refund.
We assure the client that her refund is presently undergoing an audit process and will be disbursed within the committed timeframe. Excel Book Writing remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering the highest standards of service and addressing the client's concerns with diligence and transparency.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received the 15 limited edition hard copies which are a part of the initial writing agreement, NOT the advanced marketing agreement. I sent this information to ***** and he has not gotten back to me about it. I also have yet to receive my money back for the advanced marketing agreement or the audio book. I did finally receive the ******* video about my book, but the title of my book is wrong in the video. It is very sad that your company cannot even get the title correct. I am not interested in having the video fixed. I just want the books you promised to me in my initial contract, and I want my money back for the advanced marketing agreement and the audio book. Once I receive the 15 copies and my money back, I will accept your response.

We would like to offer a considered response to the feedback provided by the client. We acknowledge that there appeared to be some confusion regarding the provision of printed copies of the book. The individual responsible for onboarding the client is no longer with our company, and their records were not readily accessible. Nevertheless, the client was in possession of an agreement that unequivocally specified her entitlement to receive 15 hardcover printed copies of her book.
Our Head of Compliance has already been in direct communication with the client and has given his assurance that he will address the matter of printed copies once the current backlog of printing orders has been resolved. We must acknowledge that certain uncertainties arose, primarily because the person who previously managed the client's project is no longer affiliated with Excel Book Writing. Consequently, it was our Head of Compliance who shared the video trailer file with the client and even sought her input via email to address any concerns related to the video file. It is with disappointment that we note the client's accusation of an incorrect name attribution, when the file shared with her was not the final version.
In the coming weeks, we intend to provide the client with a sample of the printed copy. Upon her approval, the remaining copies will be expeditiously dispatched. For your reference, we have attached a screenshot of the email exchange wherein the video trailer file was shared with the client.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Hello,
My name is *******************************************. I would like to request that my case be reopened with Excel Book Writing.
Re: ID # ********- **********************
Back when I made the initial complaint, I did not receive a secondary email stating that excel had responded to my rejection complaint and therefore the case was closed after the 7 business days. I decided I would wait to reopen it, because excel book writing had promised to do the things I asked. It has been an additional 5 weeks since they last responded to the BBB, and I still have not received the 15 books or my money back from the advanced marketing agreement and audio book. I have an additional documentation they gave me stating they will in fact be giving me my money back. I signed it on October 24th and sent it back that day via email. I will attach that document to this email. They told me I would have my money back no later than 90 days after my initial complaint to them, which was August 18, 2023. It has now been 110 days. I spoke with ************************* last week. He said he would have an update for me not later Than Dec 4th. I tried calling him Monday and Tuesday this week and he is out of the office. I asked to speak with ****************************** ***** tells me is the person that gives the final go ahead to release the funds back to me. I am rejecting this response because:
The attachment from your most recent response is inaccurate. The services you state I am disputing are not accurate. I am only disputing the advanced marketing agreement and the audiobook. You also did not attach the screenshots of the email communication where I clearly state my dissatisfaction with having to wait even longer for the refund that is rightfully mine. I don't have any trust that the refund will actually be sent to me, as I have been promised this many times before. This dispute is not going to be closed until I actually receive my money back. You told me 90 days from August 18th, the date I first asked for a refund. It has been 152 days! ********************* told me on December 13th that I would have a tracking number on December 14th with the check being sent. Now it is ******** and I'm being told the check isn't even ready to be sent. The things the staff say at Excel are very misleading and dishonest. I will not consider the matter resolved until I receive the refund.

On May 3, 2023. I contacted Excel Book Writing, via their website to inquire about some book publishing services for a book that I had planned to release on my birthday July 30th, 2023. When I contacted Excel, he assured me that my project would be done by the end of June 2023. After speaking with him, he went over the services that would be completed and the contact information. I paid $1,050, the service price via telephone with a credit card. Towards the end of June 2023. I asked about the completion of the project and was told that it there were some formatting issues, etc. July comes and the book still isn't done so I push the event back for the first time. Sometime during July, ***********************, who was my "sales representative" started offering me promotional packages and telling me how many books I could sale. I told him that I was not interested in spending $10K if I had not even received the FIRST service that I paid for with them. At this point, it seemed that after every phone call or email, he was trying to sell me these packages. August comes and still no books. September came and I told ****** that I needed my books by September 15, for a book launch. He assured me that I would receive them, all 50 but instead, he only sent 10. He sent me 10 books for a book release! I told him to either send the remaining books or issue me a refund for the 40 books. During this time he asked me YET AGAIN about buying this marketing package. I told him that it felt as if they were holding my books hostage, in order to try to make me pay for this marketing package. If I would have purchased the marketing package, I feel I would have received my books sooner. However, after speaking with ****** again, he assured me that I would have the rest of my books by the start of the week, September 25th and I still have not received my books. I asked him for a tracking number so that I can track the delivery and they wont provide me with one. I am asking for a refund of 40 bookBusiness Response

I paid Excel $1000 around June of 2022 to help me publish my book and they spoke to me twice and then they disappeared for months and didnt answer my texts and emails, then I got a different representative in around May 2023 who at least answered my phone calls but the editing he did and sent back to me again was basically what I had already written sent back to me along with a few misspelled words. I had doubts about them from the start but was giving them the benefit of the doubt as I needed help with this. Then I get a phone call on August 16th, 2023 from the Production Manager that I had give them $7,000 right away and he promised that we will get your book published all over the world. That call was from the Production manager named *** who I had never spoken with before and I had to do it that very day he called me. I also thought that was strange not just the money part but also because the book was only 1/2 done. I lost trust for them at that point. Putting their clients under pressure like this for large amounts of money they have to pay the day you call them for the first time without ever letting them know that in advance does not speak well of this company. After they did that I looked up their reviews. I read a lot of bad reviews about them doing similar things with other clients. Surprisingly they have some good reviews also which I read but if anything is legitamate about them they ruin their reputation by doing this to people. *******************Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised by our client, *********************, in reference to Case No. ********. It is our commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction that drives us to respond to these matters thoroughly.
In response to the client's claims, we would like to emphasize that the services provided by Excel Book Writing were initiated as per the agreed terms and specifications. It is essential to clarify that it was our client who chose to contact our company, expressing a desire to terminate the project.
The client cited reasons for project termination that, upon careful review, appear to be unrelated to the quality of work or services provided. Instead, these reasons appear to represent a change of preference or circumstances on the part of the client. It is important to note that the client's initial request for termination was not based on dissatisfaction with the quality of our work.
Excel Book Writing remains committed to delivering high-quality ghostwriting and editing services. However, we must adhere to our standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in our work. We are not inclined to make deviations from these procedures based solely on individual preferences.

We value our client relationships and remain willing to work with Mr. ********************* to provide the best possible service. I am rejecting this response because: After concluding that Excel Writing had been deceptive as I outlined in my original complaint and after discovering that this company had a F Rating with BBB with Excel Writing did NOT reveal to me, I have concluded that I have no interest in continuing a business relationship with them and the last thing that I will do is to give them a ***** more of my money.
This company is now refusing to provide me with a refund in spite of repeated requests to be provided with one which only demonstrates their continued dishonest business practices. Because of this continued refusal to accept any responsibility for their dishonesty and to provide me with a refund, I took the additional step of reporting Excel Writing to the ******** Attorney General.
I would advise any potential customer away from this dishonest company.
Sincerely,

I have asked for a refund from this company more than 12 times since November of 2022, due to their inability to provide the ghostwriting services for which I paid $2,500. Any attempt at a draft was full of errors indicating the person writing is likely not fluent in English. I. have been promised a refund many times and have been passed to more than 6 employees in an attempt to dissuade me from asking for a refund or ignore my complaints for a refund. I believe what this company is doing constitutes wire fraud.Business Response

I initially found Excel Book Writing by ****** Review. I explained I am a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, drug facilitated sexual assault, and other crimes. I have a child with traumatic brain injury. We have both been victims of crime. We ************* while working on these books and have been displaced several times by violent crime and burglary. Excel was aware of all of this. They are not aware of the evidence that I collected to prove their promises to me. I spoke to man named ****** who promised to have Excel cover any additional costs after the final payment for the video documentary. Excel did not deliver even a single finish product. ****** promised to build a website for us, deliver five books, cover advertising out of what was paid, and do a video documentary. I was emailed a number of things and kept records. I took pictures and audio recordings of our conversations. I did not receive any support or assistance we were promised. I am a victim of heinous crimes and I explained that at length. They have not delivered the editorial work promised, do not return calls, or provide marketing documents on all the goods they promised to produce and sell. Update n reviewing what was supposed to be the completed first book I found massive amounts of content missing, editing was not done properly, and the book was incomplete. My book series was intended to ****** support for myself and other victims. I have a sick child and the proceeds were meant to cover his healthcare as a pediatric special victim. Excel promised to help sequence the books and deliver five finished books after an initial payment. Subsequent payments were made via checks. The total payments came up to $36,500. Nothing was delivered. I have audio recordings of our conversations. We are homeless because of being crime victims and Excel is a dishonest company that has not delivered. I need help with this. I will be contacting other authorities for help. I have documents.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Excel has needlessly falsified *** history of our communications leaving out hundreds of emails we have exchanged with what I wanted and detailed records of our circumstances and *** resulting urgency behind why I needed ***se projects done timely and firm dates in product line delivery. Ra***r than simply being transparent about what was going on, you have tried to attack my character falsely in your correspondence with BBB. This response from *** business is inaccurate. They dropped *** ball for most of ************************************************************************************************************ how ***y operate. I can forward a complete history of our messages to *** BBB. I am not a criminal. I have no criminal history regarding *** story. What happened was that my wife stole from a job we were working for and blamed me before we married. I later learned that she was a habitual thief that stole from at least four workplaces that she was employed by, two of which we worked at toge***r. Asset protection approached me at both but I was absolved of any responsibility and given a asset protection job at *** second workplace because of my high degree of integrity. The false accusations I have suffered throughout my life through *** use of DARVO against me by actual perpetrators of crimes has led me to develop a situationally-specific type of complex post traumatic stress disorder when sealing with police or social workers. A phone call or a door knock sends me into a panic that can last for quite a while. This is also part of *** reason I do not accept phone calls as my ringer on my primary line is broken and my second line is not given out for business communications. I follow up on emails and calls after receiving ***m but rarely answer an active incoming call except for those from Police or specific parties. I am a victim of violent crime, domestic violence, and sexual assault. These situations have occurred in large part because of *** family I come from and family I married into as well as social -economic status placing me in at risk communities where ***se things are much more likely to happen. I have a strong aversion to unscheduled contact with human beings because of *** problems people have caused for me. I am without permanent residence and have experienced criminal retaliation including direct threats and violence from people who have victimized me and my children with violence and attacks on our property. One of ***se attacks resulted in my son being hospitalized in *** *** at five years old for three years. He is now 14. Ano***r attack as I slept in 2012 led to my face being scarred across my forehead as a result of being cut with a knife as I slept after being drugged with *** same substance used to assault my wife and son being used by my wife on me prior to *** attsck. My son endured thousands of physical and drug-facilitated attacks over years by a significant o***r who later killed ***mself on my birthday. He could not remember ***se attacks. I was also attacked using drugs and sexual violence while I slept in 2008 and later between 2009-2012 by ano***r person we lived with. There is an active case being worked on concerning *** details of this situation which have been shared with *** appropriate authorities. Excel has completely made up details of criminal history about me. My wife was stealing from a common job prior to us meeting ***re and I got blamed for it. I have used a pen name for my work to prevent direct criminal reprisals, violence, slander, and defamation suits against myself and my children. I wanted to get my story out ***re without having to fear someone saying I made false claims about ***m. I completed *** initial publication without *** assistance of Excel because Excel sent me a partially completed draft for book one which ***y did some editorial work on and I was not getting timely feedback from ***m. They have since begun to email me more formally and provide responses concerning completing *** project. I am not insisting on litigation at this time because my priority is getting *** books done and getting ***m in circulation. The is*** I had was Excel initially claimed this partial work on book one was *** finished final draft when ***y sent it. I got angry because I had called ***m many times in *** past (***re is no version of those calls in *** history ***y provided). I recorded those calls using a Campro body cam and o***r recording devices. I have saved those audio recordings from many of our communications, one of which has a man rolling back terms of Excel's original agreement which covered distribution, editing work for five books, a video documentary, and creation of a website. To date ***y have rendered zero of those services. I am giving ***m an opportunity to rectify this situation before considering fur***r action as this series of projects is a long term objective for me steeped in extreme personal losses. People I love have been seriously injured or killed as a result of special crimes activities of those I am writing about involving dozens of people and generational perpetration of those crimes against both children and adults. My son has traumatic brain injury and was just diagnosed with non-alcoholic related fatty liver disease shortly after turning 14. I have complex post traumatic stress disorder as does my oldest son. My younger child has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Both of my children are also on *** autism spectrum with some impairment of function because ***ir mo***r covertly used drugs during pregnancy and was being sexually assaulted with drugs during pregnancy by her fa***r. I find it highly offensive that Excel alleges criminal activity on my part for any reason while I am a victim of crime. This is something I will be sending a letter to ***m about via email. It is true I have had to change my number and I explained to ***m prior to *** fact that would happen. The reason is that as I have traveled both for safety and for support for *** work while seeking to keep costs down, I have encountered people who I gave my number to that would later try to use authorities to swat us or harass us when ***y would commit crimes against me in ***ir perception that we were vulnerable to fur***r exploitation. I have experienced fur***r attacks and violence while working on my publications, resulting in me sending thousands of letters to people in authority with specifics concerning our situation as it has been ongoing. I change my number to avoid having a number on public records so people who want to sow fear into our lives cannot use my point of contact to do so. I have had to live this way for four years and will continue to until we have finished at least my third book. I live my life like someone with people seeking to harm me and my family because ***re are people who have hurt us as a group in three separate situations. This resulted in us losing our home to foreclosure after being forced out by violence. I explained all of this to Excel. I have a detailed record of emails I exchange with ***m and can provide that record. There are some very unusual aspects to our story and on account of providing some of those details from our fourth book, Excel may be operating under *** presumption that I am mentally ill or meet *** criteria for insanity. This is a misconception on ***ir part because though our story is highly unusual I have witnesses that can corroborate everything that happened. I completed and self-published my first book because I felt I could not rely on Excel to complete *** projects on a timely basis. I do eventually plan to publish a detailed book with names and locations for people, cities, and organizations we dealt with during *** course of *** story so people will know *** who, what, when, where, why, and how of what happened. I have used *************************************, ***, and ******************* as prn names for ****** Reviews and points of contact to prevent retribution which usually starts with people trying to target my children or I for some slight ***y perceived we had committed against ***m. It should not be *** case that someone can target you again and again simply by dropping your name as an individual without proof but that is what has happened to me since I was a young child. People made so many retribution attacks on me for coming forward even in *** slightest that it was assumed I was guilty as a kid of being a perpetrator when I was a special victim. Law enforcement and social services were highly inept at ***ir jobs and did not do ***ir due diligence. I feared ***m as a child because I was instructed to be afraid of ***m by many of *** people who hurt me. To date I have received zero support from any authority with our circumstances short of writing people much higher in government with lengthy explanations about our circumstances. This will eventually build into a much larger and more complex explanation about what it is I learned through my research and discoveries into people engaging in special crimes activities. I have already provided those specifics to *** appropriate people. We have had contact with social services or some interrogating authorities approximately 50 times since ************************************************************************************************************************************************* turn myself for coming forward with our story. I am not anonymous to *** Police or ****** Services. I feel a breath-taking amount of anger and disgust over what has happened to us and my strongest compunction is to stop anyone who tries to take from or harm us any way I can. Excel does not fully grasp my passion or motivation towards self-preservation of my life or that of my children in seeking to complete ***se projects. My conviction is incomprehensible to anyone who has not lived *** circumstances to some degree. If someone intentionally inflicted disability on your children over many years slowly and methodically, would you be angry? How far would you go to stop ***m and stop anyone who got in your way? As far as it takes is my answer. I will take down anyone who stands in *** way of me stopping ***se people. My writings are my greatest Weapon.
We have struggled with housing insecurity because perpetrators from later volumes books three and four have used violence and threats to dislocate us from our homes on four separate occasions. Excel did not provide me a detailed contract to sign. They do word of mouth agreements and strictly is*** a very general receipt lacking specifics for services being paid for so when it comes to arbitration ***re is nothing binding which can be used for litigation customers cannot provide a specific contract to reference for ***ir services. What Excel I counting on is that I have been too overwhelmed by my circumstances to keep accurate records. I assure you that is not *** case here. I have come back to *** table seeking to get *** services ***y originally agreed to provide, however, I still fully intend to self publish my remaining books as to date Excel has proven ***mselves deeply unreliable and dishonest as a company. There is great internal disorder within ***ir organization. They agree to things and ***n spend a great deal of time fabricating *** semblance of a false history of communication and effort that ***y tired to communicate while ignoring requests for answers and timely communication. In truth, I do not really want to continue to attempt to work with ***m and I am not banking on ***ir completions of *** projects we agreed to work on toge***r because ***y have proven ***mselves in *** past to be unreliable. I have acted honestly in good faith under terrible circumstances by which we are still affected. My credit is ruined and we ended up being refugees because we were victims of many instances of violence crime and special crime. My spouse was a special victim along with myself and my oldest child. It is a horrific story. I have tried to impress upon Excel *** severity of our circumstances. I had a group of people working to conceal that my wife and her fa***r were *** offenders along with members of *** group. My wife had been a victim of drug-facilitated rapes and molestations for decades. As a result, she developed offender pathologies, cut my face as I slept after drugging me, drugged me to engage in crimes in *** house and bedroom I was in as I slept, and facilitated sexual assaults against me on at least two occasions. She subjected our oldest child to a very large number of violent asphyxiation attacks (thousands of times) over seven years and drugged him. If you would like a complete history of *** emails we have exchanged I can send that. It is not a problem. I have sought to remain undisturbed as much as possible while working on my book series. It is upsetting to me that Excel has sought ot discredit me like so many criminal offenders in my own family, my spouse's family, and my former community have tried to do. But as it always goes, it comes down to burden of proof which in this case I can provide. I do not want you to close this case. I would like it to remain open until Excel has furnished us with *** books, web site, video documentary, editorial services, Kindle Publications, and hard copy distributions with narketing in seventeen countries as ***y promised. My objective is not to tarnish Excel. They are doing a good enough job tarnishing ***ir reputation on ***ir own, respectively. O***r authors have habitually made *** same claims I have and more. This company does not have it toge***r. They accept funds without having a firm time-line for product line development or delivery of those products. This is not a good way to do business. I think sometimes ***y bite off more than ***y can chew and take on more projects than ***y are prepared or staffed to handle. I found ***m through an Ad Campaign on ****** which is quite successful in generating business leads for ***m. But ***y are ill prepared to deliver those services and follow up timely in communications. I have stopped accepting calls from ***m because it is easier to provide an email history from ***m for BBB and o***r entities should it become necessary to litigate. I hope it does not. I am writing *** series for my children and countless o***rs like ***m. I am not making money off of my efforts. It is not a profit-seeking venture to write publications about being a victim of *** crimes. My first Kindle Publication "The Origins of Sunshine" has been out for a week and to my knowledge has only sold two copies for free. It is very difficult to promote ***se works as *** market is flooded with such material to raise awareness. Most authors sell ***se books for $2.99 or less in self-help abuse category in Amazon and similar platforms. This book will eventually be reworked with real names at a much later date. We are impoverished and lack a permanent home because if we had a residence on public records we would be subject to swatting calls again and harassment despite a total lack of wrongdoing on my part or that of *** children. Criminals from *** books I am writing cannot find us so ***y use false reports to *** authorities to have ***m expend *** money and resources to do so. I have been in five states in three years because of this situation. I did not get support from **************** at *** ******************** or Lone Star Legal Aid. I contacted every non-profit and bar attorney in *** region seeking assistance in writing at least 700 times in 2020. I was also affected along with my son by amnesia because many of ***se attacks were drug-facilitated so we could not even remember many of *** events from years ago to report ***m to those authorities until this year on account of drug-induced amnesia. It has been a perpetual nightmare. We have lived a very similar series of events that I experienced in childhood because I married a *** offender who lied about being one and also covertly used drugs and forced ***m on me through exposure incidents without my consent. This is an extraordinarily bad situation we were affected by. Excel seeks to save face with you and preserve ***ir reputation ra***r than simply being honest and admitting that ***y did not have it toge***r when ***y took on *** project. I simply want *** projects done. I am not strictly insisting on a refund. I filed this complaint in order to apply a health amount of pressure to get ***m to take *** project seriously and follow through. I have since sent ***m a completed draft for book one. It is not *** product I wanted to be but I finished it *** best I could and sent it to ***m after self-publishing to Amazon via Book Baby to Amazon Kindle's Store. There are books people seek to publish for business and ***n ***re are stories people seek to get out ***re as a matter of self-preservation to protect ***mselves and o***r victims of crime and tragedy. This is *** *** latter. Until I get *** stories out ***re and *** perpetrators are aware ***y have been published, we will never be safe. It is to *** point I have been fighting ***se offenders and ***ir false reports for six years. After I refused to have contact with ***m any fur***r, some of *** offenders sought to get permanent custody of my children in order to get welfare, exploit ***m for ***, and *** me for child support. When I learned this was happening, I contacted several authorities at *** local, state, and federal level. I cannot comment on specifics of what I learned only to say it is of a very grave and serious nature affecting many, many people. I want to keep *** complaint open so that Excel will deliver *** books promised and o***r services. I did not want to take on *** problem in *** publications personally as it is difficult and expensive. I lack resources to stop those responsible short of writing letters which I do very often already. I do not know if I have *** option to file additional complaints later if ***y do not follow through. I want to ensure ***y keep to ***ir agreement to provide *** books, editorial services, distribution and marketing, video documentary, and website. I have agreed to give ***m a chance to deliver. I am skeptical ***y will but ***y sound better this time around than *** first time I was working with ***m. Excel needs to prioritize human impact stories such as ours over o***r projects because *** safety of those involved is contingent on *** projects in question. The greatest weapon people have in such situations is to publicly expose those responsible with a detailed story out of *** blue. Excel went to some lengths to discredit me and say I do not communicate or respond. That simply is not true. If you give me *** option, I will send you a detailed email history. This will take considerable time to ga***r and send to you but I will do it just to prove my point. They did not need to try to deceive *** BBB with mischaracterizations of me as a victim of crime and as ***ir customer in order to win ***ir argument. It is unscrupulous to do that. Would it not been simpler from *** beginning to listen to me and take me seriously ra***r than trying to unfairly retain compensation for work ***y were paid to do and did not do? I would not be providing such a complex explanation for ***se circumstances if it was not necessary. I will give *** BBB a copy of *** book for free if ***y would like to read *** first book to understand my urgency in needing ***se projects completed prior to filing this complaint. I have suffered grievous injury at *** hands of multiple criminal parties on and off for decades. People perceived my kindness and empathy as reason to believe I would not raise complaint against ***m when *** inflicted serious losses on me and stole from me. I have lost nearly everything I have to dishonest parties that simply wanted to exploit me for ***, *** trafficking, and for things ***y wanted materially or monetarily from me. When I would seek just recompense ***y would threaten me or my children with false reports. I have since invested in heavy weapons with high capacity and begun writing nearly daily letters about *** specifics of my exploitation to federal authorities. What I want is for Excel to finish *** projects and deliver services as agreed. Do ***y want to be a hero or villain in *** books I am writing because ***y will be included in those publications at a later date for ***ir role in developing *** story as we struggled all of ***se o***r difficulties. People never believe ***y will be held accountable by me until ***y see *** reviews that I leave, *** longest of which will be conducted in my books. My reviews are a large part of *** justice we deserve for having ***se things happen to us. Since I have been unable to afford any legal representation most of my life, writing is how I secure justice for myself and my children. Yes, our lives are ruined for *** long term and our quality of life is not good. But that does not mean that *** people who hurt us are getting away with it. I intend to establish solutions though my writings to prevent ***se things from o***r people. Some of those solutions may seem incomprehensible right now to those that hear of ***m but that does not mean we will not succeed. Some people may also be personally motivated to try to obscure progress on *** projects because *** solutions I speak of may affect ***m or ***ir families personally. My goal with *** books is reform of our society and not just self-preservation. I have made some very significant discoveries that have law enforcement applications. That information has been converted to *** appropriate authorities due to *** rampant nature and severity of those discoveries. Excel needs to do *** right thing here. Finish what you started. I am not unreasonable.
Sincerely,

On 12-21-2022 I paid the defendants in full to edit, proofread, publish, and market a book that I had ALREADY written. Every time the defendants send the book to me for publishing it STILL has multiple corrections. I have been going through this since January!! I can't anymore and would like my money back as they guaranteed IN WRITING.Business Response
